The sanctuary hospital was empty save for a medical bot and a young girl in bed.
Tina lay with a bandage on her head, unconscious, her shield managed to absorb the energy of the grenade explosion and shrapnel, but it still threw her into the wall of the building with great force.
Her eyes slowly opened. The bot was removing the bandages from her head and flew out of the room. Tina only had time to figure out where she was before Mordecai Brick and Ava entered the room
- You see Mordecai... Brick started... I said he'd wake up. She's a tough girl!
- Well admits... He mumbled... You just can't always hope for the best. Pandora should teach you that.
Ava walked over and placed a hand on Tina's shoulder.
- It's good that you're not okay.
Tina motioned for her to lean in, Ava leans in thinking Tina wants to say something to her, but she hugs her, a little surprised, she reciprocates.
- Anyway... Mordecai started... Let Tannis look at her and see if she can leave. Come on Brick, let's find her. You don't mind Ava? Asked.
Ava meanwhile sat on the edge of Tina's bed.
- No... Tina said, rising to a half-lying position, wrapped her arms around Ava's waist and nuzzled her head against Ava's back... She's is... my girlfriend.
