This is a request by a reader of my other book, so Too, Guest. I hope you enjoy it.
The older man looked down at the bundle of orange hair and the small basket of strawberries placed on his lap; the boy was the same age, if not a bit older than Yuno and Asta, but it seemed like he was dropped off by a different person then those two and he had a perma-Frown Across his little face. The Man's eyes drifted down to the basket. In it was a letter
"Dear Father Orsi Orfai, take care of my little Ichigo; I no longer can raise him, and when he is old enough, tell him that his mother loves him.
"Hmm, Ichigo? That's your name, little one?" He picked up the Young boy, setting him next to Yuno and Asta.
Fifteen years later.
The sound of yelling could be heard around the small village as the two wrestled. The mop of orange and blond tumbled down the hill.
"I will marry sister Lily!" A young voice shouted through the smoke cloud starting to form, followed by the sound of a crouching sound.
"She's a nun, dumbass; she can't!" A second voice returned, followed by another crouching sound as they reached the bottom of the hill before they separated. The smoke cloud dispersed, revealing a short, muscular frame of a boy with messy blond hair pushed up some by a black headband and bright green eyes who's short was halfway off his shoulders, and a slightly taller boy with shoulder-length spiked orange hair falling down in front of His deep brown eyes.
"Butt out, Ichigo; you Don't Know my feelings for Sister Lilly!" the boy yelled, Anger rushing through his voice; Ichigo's eyebrow twitched in annoyance.
"Asta, Yuno, I have repeatedly told you she is a nun!" Ichigo yelled back, stepping forward and slamming a fist into Asta's face or, instead, the wall of water that burst from the ground; the Two boys stopped and looked At the orphanage's resident Sister.
"Stop, you two. What Have I said about fighting?" her voice was soft but firm and caused The blonde to wince before yelling again.
"But sister Lilly he said we could never be together; tell him he's wrong!" He pointed at Ichigo, who immediately face-palmed as water shot out of thin air and soaked Asta, as well as locked him out.
"Sorry, Sister," Ichigo said, pushing the orange locks of hair away from his face and revealing the heavy frown that stained his countenance. "I tried to stop him, but he will only listen to force." he started picking up Asta's unconscious Body.
"It's all right; just try not to again, Ichigo." He then nun said, smiling; of the three, he was undoubtedly the strongest, both physically and magically, although he never showed His Magic; she remembered the day she met the boy.
An undisclosed amount of time ago.
He hadn't been when she had gotten there, but here she was, drying the mop of orange hair after he had jumped into the small creek running through the village to save a cat; the boy barely knew how to swim, but it didn't matter the boy had had said it was his duty As the oldest To Protect every one of them.
The present.
His deep brown eyes showed a depth of sadness for such a young boy but also the strength of lions with no fear At all, even back when those dreams started
"Anyway, supper, you all need your strength for tomorrow's grimoire acceptance ceremony in a couple of days." She clapped her hands together. Then a younger voice followed Her.
"Asta, what a moron. Doesn't he know he can't beat you, Ichigo? You're stronger than him in both magic and physical abilities." a young brown-haired boy said with his hands placed behind his head Before A knife hand came down hard on his head.
"Be quiet, Nash," the deep voice of Ichigo sounded from behind him; Ichigo was a quiet teen, a stark contrast to Asta but was assertive when it came to helping, using his unknown physical enhancement to outdo even Yuno. But he wouldn't let the young ones to make fun of Asta despite what society would have them believe; the rest of the day was peaceful
That night after dinner, Rooftop of the have orphanage.
He found himself in that dream, in that place again, the eastern architecture, the pure white stone buildings, and the orange light that ingolft his body, mending and healing his broken being and the ginger this tears fell into him.
"Why is she crying for an orphan like me? Why does she not know; who is she?" his words vibrated through his head, and the words the girl said stuck in his mind as he shot up, wakening to the church bell
(No, don't go Kurosaki. We still need to celebrate we won; we won, Ichigo!)
It was the same dream he always had, but something felt so familiar about the Ginger; a ping of sadness shot through his heart as he stood looking at the stars in the clear night sky and hopped down into the attic through a hole that was in the roof.
"Oh, there you are; Father Osri was looking for you." a young redheaded girl said, looking with a small smile and leading him downstairs to the dining hall where the older man sat mulling over a sheet, a stern look on his face.
"Oh, Ichigo, your here. I want to ask you something?" his voice barely above a whisper.
"What is it?" Ichigo's eyes narrowed as the older man spoke again.
"Something went through the fields and destroyed the harvest; we aren't getting anything from the farmers next week, and we're running low on food."
Ichigo's expression, never changed but the old man could see the gears turning in the ginger's mind before he turned and left.
"I'll be back in the morning with food." The boy said, raising a hand and waving goodbye.
This one will be a bit slower to update. Do me watching the show as I write is and any inconsistencies with the anime I'm sorry about it; and the first two chapters will be shorter on purpose. Any way I hope you enjoyed the first chapter please comment what you think. :)
