We knew it would attack again tonight when the full moon will be high in the night sky. So here we are in a forest in the middle of nowhere. Dean parked the Impala near the road and stopped the radio. He threw a glance at me in the rearview mirror. "You're ready Robin?" I breathe deeply before replying "Yeah, just a bit anxious." "I know it's your first werewolf but it's gonna be okay. Aim for the heart with silver bullets, don't get bitten or scratched, run the hell out of its reach and most importantly, don't get yourself killed. Sammy and I can handle ourselves." Sam threw him a deadpanned look. "Thanks Dean." It was a simple and realistic way to explain the process. With a simple glance from the brothers and no other word exchanged, we got out of the car. Dean reached the trunk to grab the weapons needed for this hunt while Sam checked one last time the map of the forest. They seemed so calm. It's been 2 years since I joined them. I knew that it was a piece of pie for them but still. "Here's your gun, sweetheart." said Dean while handing me my revolver. He looked so good in the moonlight with his own gun in hand. Sam interrupted himself when he noticed that I didn't answer Dean right away and saw me staring at his brother. He threw me a knowing look with a smirk. "Thank you." I said and threw a death glare at Sam. Dean closed the trunk and its loud sound made me jump. "So Mangela, where are we going ?" Asked Dean.I couldn't help but chuckled a bit. Sam pursed his lips and replied "First it's Magellan and we are heading for the deepest part of the forest. We'll have to follow the river against the current." And with that, we began to walk.
"It's the third time we passed that duck-shaped rock! Admit it, we're lost!"said Dean to Sam. "We're not lost! Just keep going." As much as I loved them, their toddler bickering was sometimes unbearable. And they kept arguing like that for a good 10 minutes. Until a loud howl was heard in the night. It was near. That stopped their argument. Every twig and leaf crunched under our feet, making a terribly loud noise. The forest was so thick that soon it became almost pitch black despite the full moon. My heart was beating faster and faster at each step. It was calm, too calm. I could see the wary look on both Dean and Sam's eyes. We kept going for a little while. Suddenly, we could spot a huge barn not that far away from us. "It wasn't on the map." complained Sam. A loud scratch on the barn wooden wall and an awful scream made us jump in action right away. Dean led the way, followed closely by Sam and I. He almost threw himself on the door and began to shoot at the werewolf. "Robin! Take care of the boy!" A poor teenage boy, not more than 14 years old was on the floor, tears and blood caking on his face. Despite the chaos around, I crouched next to him and checked on his wounds . "It's gonna be okay! Can you run?" He slowly nodded his head. I tried to smile reassuringly and grabbed his hand.I tried to take him outside and noticed that his grip was stronger. I turned to tell him when suddenly I noticed that his eyes changed. But before I could react, he lunged at me.
My gun was thrown out of my reach when I fell. He was on top of me, trying to bite my neck. I was wrestling a teen boy and obviously losing. By the loud screams and shots I heard inside, I knew that I was alone in this. He scratched me multiple times. "Bitch!" I screamed.I saw his teeth getting dangerously close to the crook of my neck and at that moment I gathered enough strength and anger to knee him hard in the groin. He yelped and got off of me. "Sorry for your future kids!" I screamed while trying to get my gun. He regained his strength and tried to lunge at me again but luckily I got my hand on the gun and shot him right in the heart. When he fell to the floor and let out a pathetic howl, I exhaled. But soon I heard a louder howl coming from inside. "Sammy!" more shots followed. I ran as fast as I could inside. Sam was not in great shape and Dean wasn't either. They were both on the floor, trying to get to their feet. The werewolf had the upper hand on us. "Hey!" I screamed. Dean looked at me, horrified when the werewolf threw itself at me. I tried to aim for the heart but it was too fast for me. It soon had its paw around my neck and it began to throw me around. Before I lost consciousness, the werewolf transformed itself in his human shape and said "That's what you get for killing my son, bitch." and after that nothing.
When I came to, I had Dean's face above me. When he saw my eyes open he said "Thank Chuck!" He was bruised everywhere and had blood on his temple. "She's awake?" Asked Sam. "Yeah." They looked like they were run over by a monster truck but thankfully they were well. When I finally had the strength to talk I asked "What happened? Where's the werewolf?" Dean breathed and said "Apparently that guy is a pureblood. Sam and I tried to shoot him. But it was ineffective and he was able to run away. What happened outside? What was he talking about when he said that you had killed his son?" I swallowed thickly and explained everything that happened outside. "So it was a kind of trap? Why?" Asked Sam. "Great question. Maybe you guys killed someone from his pack? Or he knew that we were on his ass and decided to defeat the legendary Winchester brothers?". Dean came back from the back of the barn. "Dunno. But what kind of dumbass brings their ID card with them to commit a crime?" he said while handing us a card with a name, Joe McKenzie and his picture on it. He had a bright smile despite the poor state of his face. "Careful. What if it's another trap?" I said. "Well, it is the only clue we have at the moment. Let's say he's dumb and we have a way to find him and stop him." With that, Dean helped me up and walked me to the car.
The day after, Sam and I were doing searches on that guy while Dean was making lunch. "There you are!" I screamed, making Sam jump. Dean came rushing into the room. "What is it? What happened?" He asked. I had their eyes on me. "Well, this guy is quite a ghost when it comes to social life. But when I tried a contraction of his name on this social media, I found him. And apparently he will participate in a convention that takes place in a week in San Francisco. A certain Supernatural Convention." I saw their expression turning to a frown. "What is it? You guys already went to this kind of convention?" "Well, it's a long story but we'll explain. Buy the tickets and get ready."
