Gamindustri, a world of wonder, a world of weirdness, a world of 100% pure anime, and a world of Nep. Rule by four powerful goddesses, acting as muses of sorts for the game industry of our world, who will be called CPUs in these stories because Console Patron Unit is a cool name and I don't care what the translators have to say.

"Hey dude could you keep it down? I'm trying to catch Froggy." said Neptune who is currently staying up late with her sister Nepgear, and CPU predecessor Uzume Tennouboshi to play some Sonic Adventure DX.

"Oh! Sorry Neptune, I'll be going now." says the Narrator as he goes back to his job of narrating.

"Alright, Froggy in the Ice Cap Zone where are you?" said Neptune as Uzume gets up from the couch and says, "Hey Nepsy, pass me that I wanna get the lure upgrade here." She then takes the controller and starts making her way to the upgrade.

"I keep forgetting this is the only action stage where you find an upgrade.", says Nepgear as she watches from the couch.

"Yeah I just never really thought of anywhere else to put it back in the day.", the redhead says as she gets the upgrade.

"I mean you know the feeling right? We've all been at this for a while, you must have some dev stories right?", says Uzume as she passes the controller back to Neptune.

Neptune reminisces for a bit saying, "Yeah like how I convinced SEGA to make games about the Yakuza by singing Baka Mitai, or when Uranus literally just made 2 different games about rolling giant balls around."

The trio laughs for a bit before Nepgear butts in, "Yeah, or when making a Sonic RPG set off a chain of events that cost us an entire extended comic book universe".

"Yeah, I kinda had an odd feeling about that guy ever since that story about the drug laced Chilli-dogs." says Uzume as she remembers a certain someone who won't be named. (If you're a Sonic fan, you probably already know)

They laugh again before Neptune asks, "What about you Uzume, any interesting stories on your end?"

Uzume thinks for a moment, before saying, "Oh, so damn many you have no idea. But for me, the best part was always coming up with these wacky ideas, and SEGA actually going for them".

"Like, a flying purple jester that lives in a dream world? Sure why not? A living spaceship? Sure why not? A dancing news reporter in space? Sure why not? A hedgehog with super speed? Sure why not. Heck, let's even make him our new mascot!"

Neptune and Nepgear look surprised at Uzume and Neptune asks, "Wait, Saturn, Genesis, and Master System? I thought you were just the moe Dreamcast?"

"Wait, Histy didn't tell you? And you never cracked open a history book after you revived me?" Uzume says in surprise.

The tome in question, Histoire, then enters the room and says "I believe I told you two multiple times but, as usual you were distracted. But yes, Uzume is Planeptune's founding CPU."

The sisters process this for a moment before Neptune replies, "Well, this explains why everyone wanted her back on Sonic stuff."

Nepgear immediately rushes up to Uzume shouting, "Wow that is awesome! Tell me everything! How did you create the SEGA Channel? How did you accomplish blast processing? What were the other goddesses like?"

Uzume feeling flustered nudges Nepgear away from her face saying, "I'd like to tell ya Gearsy but *yawns* I'm beat, let's get some sleep. I got stuff to do tomorrow."

She pauses for a bit on the Sonic Adventure DX title screen before asking, "You know something I've always wondered ever since I started making games? What would life be like in Gamindustri if all of these characters and worlds we made were actually real. Like, we could go on adventures with Sonic, explore dungeons in Hyrule,"

Uzume then starts daydreaming in her valley girl persona for several minutes as the group gets ready for bed.

"And then Uzume would get like all of the sweet rolls and Nuka Cola she could carry and share it all with her friends and it would be like, the bestest day ever!"

She finally catches herself and goes back to normal before saying "Uh yeah it would be cool, I guess, what do you guys think?"

Neptune responds saying, "Eh, I'm willing to admit I'd goof off a lot at the arcades and karaoke places in Kamurocho."

"Yeah, and I'd probably be sharing notes with Tails, Slippy, and Ratchet among other people." says Nepgear.

Histoire says, "While that would be interesting, we should also take into account the fact that if the heroes are real, so are the villains. Gamindustri already has enough evil-doers to deal with as is. If Planeptune ever had to fear an invasion from the Eggman Empire, I feel I would have a migraine."

"Yeah I gue- heeyyy, I just thought of something." Neuptune says as she elaborates, "Uzume's the founder, the founder made Histy, oh Histy you're like Uzume's daughter."

Histoire looks very embarrassed by this "Well, um, Neptune, I- I suppose you'd be correct in a way but-"

Uzume butts in saying, "Hey lay off my kid Nepsy it's late." as she plays along.

"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE GOODNIGHT SEE YOU IN THE MORNING!" Histoire yells as she leaves for her room.

The other three then go to bed as well. Later in the night however, Planeptune, no, all of Gamindustri is suddenly bathed in a bright white light that disappears as quickly as it appeared. A few seconds later, a bright blue glow shines from Uzume's bedroom before quickly subsiding.

Hey everyone, author speaking. This is my first story on here so forgive me if it's not written very well. A story like this has been festering in my head ever since I first learned about Neptunia and how it's a parody of the real life video game industry.

It made me wonder, what if all of the video game characters lived among the regular and irregular people of Gamindustri in a Roger Rabbit style setting? I've seen very few other fics try this and none of them have been finished so I'm hoping to throw my hat in the ring with this idea.

Also, Uzume fans rejoice, this first story will be focusing on her, a lot.
