Chapter 1 : Beginning of the End
"Ninshu shall unite humanity"
Those were the last words of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, The Sage of Six Paths, The Creator.
Since the beginning of time the human race had embroiled itself in conflicts of power, greed and ambition. It was a cycle of never ending violence that was supposed to end when The Sage taught humans the power of chakra. With that gift, he had wished to give peace yet humans have an uncanny habit of destroying themselves on their own.
The chakra that was supposed to unite became the catalyst for even greater violence between the Sage's two sons, Indra and Ashura. If only Hagoromo had understood humanity's fault lay in its twisted emotions and granting them power would only embolden them.
A proof of that claim itself was the conflict between the Sage's sons which began over a simple matter of succession.
The Sage who taught the world the importance of peace couldn't teach his own sons the same values.
And that was the beginning of a massacre that went on for centuries.
October 10th , Night of Nine Tails Attack
"Kakashi, come over here. Come and meet Naruto!" Minato said excited and happy at the sight of his newborn son.
The silver haired teen didn't need to be told twice as he quickly walked over to see his sensei new born. Kakashi smiled as he saw Naruto. He noticed that Naruto had fiery red hair that proved his Uzumaki lineage like that of his mother, Kushina Uzumaki. Like his father though, Naruto has blue eyes it was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
The young man eye smiled "He's truly one of a kind, Sensei" Kakashi said with joy seeing Naruto. Resembling so much of Minato, the fourth hokage, with touches of Kushina.
"That he is." Minato said with pride. He turned to Kushina "Here you go my love." he said as he leaned over hand handed their son to her to hold.
Kushina was exhausted from just having given birth to Naruto, but holding her son brought out newfound energy as her expression changed to that of joy. She held him close as she looked onto Naruto while Minato held her in a hug as well.
"Hello there Naru, it's your Mother talking to you." she said with a smile and sing song tone. It was obvious that she was tired but her want to be with her son outweighed that feeling.
Minato was smiling wider than ever before, "Kakashi, come for a photo. You should be in it." he said with a waving gesture for his student to come.
Kakashi's parents had died early in his life, his father even took his own life in front of him. Which made him numb to the world, but then the death of his teammates led him down a dark path through Anbu. Minato noticed this took him in as his wife personal body guard while she was pregnant. Despite everything they naturally developed a strong bond that was like father and son. Minato expressing that he wanted Kakashi in the family photo warmed his heart.
Quickly he took his place within the middle of them, Kushina holding Naruto with Minato's left arm around her and his right hand on Kakashi's right shoulder. All having large smiles with the exception of a half sleeping Naruto.
"Sensei, with your help he has the potential to be a great shinobi. So many things he can achieve." Kakashi said excited for the possibilities and the future.
"Yes, but don't be so quick to look ahead, enjoy the moment. Don't take anything for granted or consider a moment insignificant in turn for another. Never know when it'll be gone...maybe you would wish to return but at that point you won't be able." Minato said.
"Yeah...I you're right about that, still though the possibilities are endless." Kakashi said while wiggling his index finger around the hands of Naruto who was trying to catch it.
"Minato, I'd really like some rest. Take Naruto." Kushina said with a yawn after finishing as her tiredness caught up to her.
They were in a hideout surrounded by seals and anbu, she was in a bed but was nowhere near as comfortable as their own home but it would have to do. After all the seal that holds the Kyubi weakens during child birth, precautions had to be made.
Only the people present along with the third hokage knew of where and when this was taking place outside the village. The third hokage was Minato's advisor and friend, his wife was the lead doctor during the procedure and that is also how the third hokage also knew.
If the Nine Tails were to escape, everyone knew that no one man can defeat it, the seals surrounding the hideout and within the room were designed to hopefully hold the Nine Tails as well as constantly drain its Chakra.
It would be in a weakened state upon reentering the physical world so by constantly draining Chakra from it, they hoped that it could never regain its power or recharge and potentially can reseal it within another host if they were unable to reseal it within Kushina for whatever reason. Although with a force as that of the kyubi, the most powerful tailed beast, everything was speculation in regards to if they could truly hold it back.
The only man that had the power to truly hold it back was the shodai hokage. Madara doesn't really count as he couldn't truly hold it on his own, it is true that he could use genjutsu from his sharingan to manipulate or even control the kyubi but that wouldn't last. Hashirama could imprison the kyubi within his woodstyle techniques and that would in a sense be the end of that problem, he could do it to every tailed beast at once, however that's never been his intent and never sought them to control them.
Minato being a present Seal Master, also gave opportunity for him to reseal the kyubi in enough time for everyone to escape before he himself teleports Kushina, Naruto, Kakashi and himself back the village. There wasn't no Uchiha as strong as Madara's only one person has the potential to freeze it for a time being but they themselves would have to stand still as well. He was Fugaku. Fugaku could control it for a short time due to his Mangekyo Sharingan but that would drain him of nearly all his Chakra and it would more or less be a death wish.
Kakashi showed great potential and is hailed as currently one of the strongest shinobi as he unlocked his Mangekyo just 3 years ago at age 13. One of youngest ever to unlock it and not only that but he's been a really gifted ninja to this point in terms of his abilities. A true master of over a thousand jutsu, as the only ninja that can use it effective in battle. On top of that he's a master of lighting techniques as he can do most with a single hand sign. But unfortunately he didn't have the Genjutsu capacity either.
Minato gladly took Naruto from Kushina as he rested and on her and gave her a kiss to the forehead. He looked over to Kakashi when they both felt an odd presence of someone that wasn't supposed to be there.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Minato stated with a glare to the masked man.
He had an orange mask and wore a large cloak that hung baggy and hood was up. The only thing that they could tell was that he had a very malicious intent. Given that he was here, it was a safe bet the anbu won't be responding as they were most likely dead or incapacitated.
They stood still waiting for some attack, something to happen. Minato had to becareful as his wife was in no condition to fight or defend herself, plus he was holding his child. Without taking his eyes off the masked man he spoke "Kakashi, here take Naruto. I can't risk anything here. I'm going to send you to the house, when I come back go to Hiruzen and await his orders"
He handed Naruto to Kakashi but before he could say anything about wanting to help fight the man, Minato teleported the teen to their house. Kakashi now looked down to Naruto worried but knew that his Sensei was a very capable Shinobi. He wasn't hokage for no reason. All Kakashi did was place Naruto down on a bed and remained by his side since there was no telling what the objective of the masked man was.
Now that Naruto was with Kakashi safe at his home, Minato felt more relaxed about the situation. However his wife also still being here made him still be worried. Based on the fact that the masked man didn't seem to care that Naruto was gone led to the conclusion that he may be after the Kyubi. With that being the case now he stood between the man and Kushina, and took out one of his special kunai.
"That jutsu won't help you in this, Yondaime." the masked man said in a deep tone.
Minato didn't really care to what he was saying as he was threatening the safety of those he loved. Without even a second wait, he hurled the kunai at the man who just stood there. The strange thing to Minato was that it just went right through, he knew this wasn't a clone and was indeed the man so he teleported to the kunai and tried a slash at the man only to phase right through.
"This doesn't make sense. What is going on?" Minato thought as the man became intangible during his attacks.
The man laughed "Too easy." and below the two of them the ground started to glow, this shocked Minato as his eyes widened and just before the ground blew up from the explosive tags he teleported to a different location in the woods outside the hideout.
"When did he place those? How does that intangibility work and what is he planning?" Minato thought as he stood up from the kneeling position he landed in and looked back to the hideout. The seals were gone and he saw the bodies of the anbu, they weren't dead but even if they awoke, they couldn't fight until a few days atleast.
What was worrying is that he could no longer feel the marker he had on Kushina, normally he'd be able to sense it no matter where she was or how far, even if she had died the marker would remain. Not knowing where she was made him all the more certain that this was the goal of the man. He wanted him separated from Kushina and most likely to get the Kyubi set free.
After a few minutes he could once again feel the seal he had on Kushina and teleported to it, he noticed a few things, the Kyubi was set free and the eyes had a sharingan pattern, on top of that it was about to kill Kushina and he grabbed her and shunshined to the top of some trees.
"Fast as ever I see." the masked man commented before warping away.
"Kushina are you alright?" Minato said with worry all over his face. She looked paler and was extremely weakened. Tears streamed down her pale face as she looked up "Minato i rec-recognized that ch-chakra.. Even though it's tainted there are traces that feels like Obito."
His eyes widen in horror at the revelation but quickly shook his head that wasn't important he knew she would die soon since any jinchuriki that gets their tailed beast extracted normally dies instantly.
Her being an Uzumaki is the only reason she still is alive currently and if he could reseal the Kyubi right away she could live since the Chakra would heal her but, if too much time is taken and she is separated for too long then she'll die regardless.
With all that considered, he teleported to their home and Kakashi stood up seeing Minato's return carrying a pale and weakened Kushina.
"Here, lay with Naruto, Kushina." Minato said placing here down beside Naruto. He grabbed his vest and put on his Hokage cloak. "I'll be back shortly." then he teleported to the hokage monument over looking the village.
As she lay there crying weakly she reminisced about the last time she's seen that bubbly boy.
Flashback Start
You hear the noises of the soft wind and birds chirping as Team 7 in the forest was training and working on their teamwork.
Minato was smiling at his three young students in pride while they looked a bit disgruntled. Still smiling his rose his arm showing the slightly cut fabric.
"Good. You actually hit me this time." He said with pride.
Obito sweat dropped , Kakashi became irritated but Rin became ecstatic at the achievement. "Heeeyyy ! Hitting Sensei, that's amazing Kakashi!!"
He folded his arms across his chest and from the corner of eyes he looked at her. "It was only one hit. Honestly it isn't that praiseworthy."
Obito rolled his eyes and tsk "Ugghh.. I CAN DO IT TO, YOU KNOW!" He screamed to the heavens. But before he was able to continue his rant he was smack beside his head with a food basket.
"Nice timing , don't you think?" Kushina said smiling
Obito turned around confused and widen his eyes in surprise when he saw the red haired menace.
"Kushina-san!!" Rin called out happily running towards her.
She smiled and looked around at the group eyes finally landing at her husband.
"Hey guys, everyone okay?" She asked
Minato nods in the positive "They're doing great. We were just about to take a break." He walking to her and hugging her from behind.
She smiled "That's good, here lunch" she held out the basket to the group. "Here you go. The Kushina special." She said winking her eye.
Rin became even more joyful "Thank you Kushina-san, I love the food you make!"
Kushina became surprised at the someone complementing her culinary skills. Suddenly she glob her in hug almost suffocating her with love. "You're so cute little Rin, you are such a good girl you know?"
Obito looked at them and turned around scoffing, that caught the red haired woman attention. She walked up to him with her eyebrows twitching
"Let me get this straight.. I take time to bring lunch all the way out here to you guys, and that's the kind of thanks I get from you, hmmmm?" Kushina said with a sickly sweet smile
Obito getting nervous, started sweating slightly but with much bravado he puffed his chest out and 'hmph' to himself
"Hey, I didn't ask you to do that! I'm not even hungry!" But before Obito can continue his stomach rumbles out loud for everyone to hear.
"Uh.." Obito said flatly thinking about changing his mind while Kushina looked at him with a dry expression.
She sighed and placed her hand on his shoulder "You know , trying to be tough is okay but first go ahead and eat something. I mean, you can fight on a empty stomach can you?"
Obito shook his head childishly "No! I won't take anyone's handout! I'm the future Hokage , I can fight without food!"
Kushina smiled at the little boy "Oh? How manly of you…" suddenly the air got cold as her haired flowed upwards , a tick mark dawned above her eye brow and she shook her fist threateningly "Yeah right? As if I'd ever say something like that to you!!" Then she punched the top of his head. Obito cried out in pain holding his head.
She put both hand on her hip and berated the little boy. "Now no more out of you! Eat! Being healthy is part of being a ninja! What you said just proves that you're nothing but a little kid!"
While they were arguing Minato , Kakashi and Rin just stared at the two loud mouths going at each other. Rin just sighed and shook her head. "There they go again.."
Minato smiled and chuckled softly "let's just eat okay you two?"
The day went by and now you can see Minato and Kushina relaxing at home. Minato stood and told her that him and his team needed to prepare for a mission.
Village Gates
After debriefing his team he looked at his wife and smiled "Kushina , we'll see you soon"
Kushina nodes in the positive then looked at the three kids with a smile. "Alright, be careful and do your best you guys"
She looks at Obito and boops him on the nose " And you Obito.. You're clumsy , hasty and a blundering fool too. Add hyperactive knucklehead to the list, so be doubly careful out there okay? Because if you come back home injured you'll get more than my fist. Got that?" She said wanting Obito to be careful and not harmed in any way.
Obito eyes widen in shock He didn't expect for her to care about him , He smiles "Heh, Who do you think I am anyways!? I'm gonna be Hokage. Me! LORD OBITO UCHIHA!!" He said pointing to himself
"Please.. There's nothing to worry about! I'll make the mission a success and then come back with everyone without a scratch!" He boldly proclaimed holding his fist out.
"THAT'S A PROMISE, AND I NEVER GO BACK MY WORD BECAUSE THAT'S MY NINDO MY NINJA WAY!!" He yelled with a triumphant smile
Kushina eyes widen and then she smiles "Hm! You better keep that promise!"
They both smiled and laughed together. As the group walked away , she thinks about the conversation with Minato.
"Come to think of it. I forgot to ask, but.. " Minato said while getting prepared
"Hm?"
"Why do you like Obito so much anyways?"
She smiles "It's because he's apart of my dream.."
"Dream?" He asked confused
"One day, when we have a child.. I want that child to be bright and forthright and grow up to be just like Obito. Our child doesn't have to be smart or the best but I want our child to be full of Light and value friendship with a cheerful spirit… And a will that can't never be broken " she said fondly.
She waved at the four as they walked away not knowing that'll be the last time she's seen Obito.
Flashback End
With Minato
The masked man warped into existence just outside the village. "Summoning Jutsu" he said and slammed his hand onto the ground and in a large cloud of smoke appeared the Kyubi. "Destroy everything"
The Kyubi started charging a tailed beast bomb and shot it at the monument to then have a collateral effect of taking out the hokage building and intel hq.
However just before it could hit, it hit a large seal and started being absorbed into it, then disappeared and the explosion was far from the village but still heard and the explosion visible in the distance.
"I've gotta becareful about where I send those..." Minato stated and turned around to see the masked man warping into existence.
Instantly the man started warping Minato and was just about to send him into his dimension until there was a yellow flash and Minato was gone. "Hmmm...he's faster than my kamui."
Minato landed in a flip and now laid on his back. "Damn that ability of his...what is it? He can teleport without seals and apparently can send others away...where would I have ended up?" Minato was extremely confused and the jutsu the man was showing made him worried all the more. "First was intangibility, now transportation. Can the two be connected?"
As he was contemplating all he was learning, the masked man warped infront of him. "You are truly fast Yondaim. However, this is the end for you."
The man now pulled out a chain and connected it to his wrists with it hanging behind him. Minato noticed that as he attacked, he he would be intangible which meant that he would go through, but then the chain would cut through him. "So his intangibility won't allow him to attack, he must be tangible in order to attack. Still that is an issue as he can be indestructible until he chooses."
Minato took out a kunai and they charged each other.
Back at the village
"Lord third! The Kyubi is attacking!" an anbu captain said to Hiruzen who was already gearing up.
"Yes I sense it. Go tell the Uchiha to help evacuate the civilians, then have them join the fight but not until everyone is safe. Get any ninja to fight however have the younger generation put into a barrier, we cannot lose them to this." Hiruzen said as he finished preparing for the battle ahead.
"Hai!" The three anbu exclaimed and shunshined to do their duty.
Hiruzen appeared at the village gates and was briefed on the situation by a jonin.
"We must hold the kyubi back until the Yondaime can come!" Hiruzen shouted as he summoned his adamantium staff and they started the battle.
The adamantium staff is nearly indestructible and can expand infinitely, with those two abilities, he used it to push the kyubi back away from the village while the other ninja were throwing jutsu after jutsu at it to try and help push it back. it was slow and rough for them but it was working enough.
They all knew they could never really kill a tailed beast, they were just manifestations of Chakra given physical form. They are immortal and if sealed into a jinchuriki, even when that host dies, the tailed beast would "die" with them but reform after a couple years.
They're only goal was to get the Kyubi away from the village and hope that the Yondaime can do something.
Minato vs Masked Man
The fight had been going on for a few minutes and neither one was landing anything, since the masked man can just become intangible, while Minato was too fast for him.
Minato glanced over to the village and the battle was visible as flashes of light from jutsus and the roars of the kyubi could be heard. His gaze went back to the masked man.
"What an interesting position you're in. You want to go and protect the village, as is your duty as hokage...however you can't just let me go can you?" the masked man said as he watched Minato looking back to the village throughout the fight.
"Enough of this. Obito or not , I'm going to have to use Hiraishin level two" Minato thought as he ran at the masked man
They charged at eachother and as Minato went he threw a kunai at the masked man and it started to phase threw his head. The masked man was bring his hand up to attack Minato while Minato charged up a rasengan. They kept charging and just as the kunai finally went all the through and just before the masked man could touch Minato, he teleported to the kunai and caught it in mid air then twirled his body around and slammed the rasengan into the masked man's back.
The masked man was slammed into the ground as he couldn't react to the speed of the attack and as he was on the ground, a hiraishin seal was placed onto his back.
"He teleported to that kunai..." the masked man thought as he felt the pain from the attack and got up to face Minato
"It's time to end this, I need to get back to the village." Minato stated before he disappeared in a yellow flash and appeared directly infront of the masked man and slammed his hand onto the man's chest. A seal formed and glowed then he jumped back.
"A contract seal?" the masked man stated
"You are no longer able to summon the kyubi." Minato said and teleported back to the village leaving behind a flash of yellow..
Village
The battle was raging on and the leaf was losing many shinobi to the kyubi. It was an overwhelming force and there seemed to be nothing they could do. They were all starting to lose hope.
Then there was a bright yellow flash and from the sky Gamabunta came crashing down landing on the Kyubi. Everyone cheered as the Yondaime now arrived.
"Lord fourth! What's the plan!" Hiruzen shouted from the ground.
"I'm going to teleport it away from the village. But its going to take a little time to teleport something this big. Gamabunta I need you to hold it down." Minato said he started to prepare to teleport him and the kyubi. It was going to take a lot of Chakra and he already used a lot, teleporting the tailed beast bomb earlier and the hiraishin level two took a lot out of him, plus his fight didn't help to conserve energy.
"You better hurry! I can't hold him forever!" Gamabunta shouted as he was struggling to keep the kyubi down.
After a few moments there was a flash of yellow and then Minato and the Kyubi were both gone.
"He-he did it.! He's saved us!" one of the shinobi said and all of them started to cheer.
Hiruzen looked to a few anbu and they knew it was still not over. "We must find the yondaime and provide assistance however we can." he said quietly as he didn't want to ruin the spirits of the shinobi. It was a grueling fight and they lost many.
With Minato and the Kyubi
They were far away from the village but still in fire country. Minato looked and noticed that the kyubi had lost the sharingan pattern in his eyes but currently it was still stunned at the moment.
"I've got to be quick. I will need Kushina to help me seal it. Naruto, I'm sorry."
Minato teleported Kushina and Naruto to his location. He looked to Kushina and had her set up a barrier of Chakra around them and have her Chakra chains wrap around the kyubi.
These chains are indestructible and drain Chakra. Nothing, not even the kyubi can destroy them. They would last as long as Kushina willed them to, so long as she had Chakra.
Minato began preparing the ritual required.
Minato went through the hand seals for the reaper summoning. The kyubi seeing what was going on didn't want to be sealed and tried to kill baby Naruto with his claw however both Kushina and Minato jumped infront of hit and were stabbed through the stomach and held the claw in place.
Minato finished the summoming and placed the 8 trigrams seal on Naruto's stomach and with the help of the Shinigami sealed the Chakra within himself before putting it into Naruto. The entire Kyubi was put into Naruto and now the kyubi was gone but now they were dying. Minato only had a few minutes until he died due to the use of the reaper seal. Kushina had slightly longer.
"Is there anything you want to say to Naruto before we go?" Minato asked saddened that this would be the last time he was with Naruto.
With tears and sadness but still the happiness of being a mother "There's so much. Naruto I love you. I want you to be happy, it will be hard I know but don't give up. Being a Jinchuriki is something I would never want for you as it's lonely and dark. I wish you could be in never ending happiness and joy full of love...but it may not go that way. You'll have Jiraya and Hiruzen as well but don't follow in their actions ok. They're not appropriate and it's a shame that he is that way. Be sure to always be respectful and kind and hold those few people that like you close to your heart and never let them go. They'll be the ones to keep you in the light. There's so much I wish I could teach you and wish I could be with you...Naruto I love you!" Kushina said crying.
"Minato, I'm sorry I've taken all your time..." Kushina said with tears still running down her face.
Minato just smiled and held her close "Its ok. Naruto listen to your Mother. Don't cause too much trouble alright?"
"How can you be sure it will all be ok?" Kushina said crying.
"Because... he is my son." Minato said with a smile
October 20th : Days after The Nine Tails attack
A pudgy face red hair baby was lying in the hospital alone in a bed with no Nurse in sight no Doctor around. Knowing who and what this baby is nobody wanted to deal with what they believe to be the devil incarnate. A distance away Mikoto was staring at the boy with a sad look on her face, she began to tear up.
"Kushina.. I'm so sorry." She said quietly.
Hearing what she said a young Itachi looked up at his mother in wonder then looked at the baby with her.
Both notice the Third Hokage walking towards them with a sad smile. "Hello Mikoto-san, Itachi-kun. I'm happy to see that young Naruto has some visitors." Hiruzen looked at the baby with a sad smile on his face.
Mikoto recovering from her recollection look at the hokage and got straight to the point ; staring in the Hokage eyes "Sir give me Naruto, for Kushina sake and on the pride of my clan I'll take care of him as if he was my own."
Hiruzen looked at Naruto again and closed his eyes thinking about Kakashi, "I'm sorry Mikoto.. the situation is delicate right now, until we handle the situation at hand young Naruto belongs to the state. If you need more information I'm sure Fugaku will provide it"
Mikoto with her dreams crushed walked away, tears ran down her face she knows that her friends legacy will go through hell.
4 Years After Nine Tails Attack
Naruto, a now 4 year old was laying on top of the Fourth's head at the Hokage Monument, the cool winter breeze ruffles his hair. He kept his eyes on the heavens, he's always been alone and he's reminded of that every where he looks. Even the heavens wasn't safe because a flock of birds flew across the sky. Reaching his hand to the sky he blinked out the tears in his eyes. Naruto slightly narrowed his eyes balling his fist, he promised himself that he wouldn't cry anymore.
All his life, Naruto had endured pain, hatred and loneliness, things that could break any man. His endurance and kind heart showed just how strong he was, mentally. But there is a breaking point that all people have. This was his breaking point, a point of impasse. His mind was nothing but a crumbling skyscraper. Isolation can be the cause severe mental trauma, and for all his short life he has experienced much hatred, this caused him to have unhealthy tendencies and thoughts.
As his inner darkness grows he tries to mask it bubbly dense persona for his survival. Negative and positive had joined and become one, each lost of their path. Limit a border that he had never thought that he would ever reach at his young age. However, here he was, his limit reached. His mind could not function to its level best, the best way to program it so it could compute better was rebooting. Perhaps if he reboots, he could see what the world offered him.
Flashback Starts
"Did I really get adopted?? Yes!! this of awesome" A young boy screamed out.
"Yes, now just go outside and you'll find them!" Said the devious matron
Naruto grinned as he ran down the hallways of the orphanage, trying to get to the front door as fast as he could. He's dreamed of this moment for as long as he could remember. He could finally get a mommy and a daddy! It was the best present the boy could have on his birthday, now being exactly four years old.
He swung the door open and saw nothing but the orange and yellow fall leaves that had fallen off the trees that surrounded the orphanage. He looked around in a confused tone before he was pushed down the stairs, which was really only three stairs, but it was enough for Naruto to crash onto the ground and scraping his knee, a little bit of blood coming out.
The little boy cried as his shaky hands touched his skinned knees, shaking from the shock of the sudden pain. The matriarch of the orphanage looked at Naruto without an ounce of pity in her eyes, not caring about the crying child.
"You're unworthy of love you dam demon!! don't come back!" The matron shouted and slammed the door, causing Naruto to flinched.
Naruto there in the cold processing that word
Unworthy
Unworthy…
That word resonated throughout the his head as he stared off into the dark void.
Flashback End
Thinking back, he realized that certainly he could not continue on the path that he had been taking after it had nearly cost him his sanity. Only a fool would continue on such path.
Shaking off those thoughts he was getting hungry so he got up, stretched and started heading down towards the village square. As the young boy was walking a red ball was kicked towards him. The little girl smiled at him and chuckled joyfully "Heyy throw it back!"
Naruto smiled as he picked up the ball but that soon went away when her father glared at him. The little girl frowned sadly and looked up "what's wrong daddy?"
"Look it's that dam boy again" the mother said , the father nodded and looked down to his daughter "Hey, don't play with him. He is bad news you don't know what he'll do. Something like him is unworthy of your friendship."
Unworthy.. that word continued resonated in his head once again he did everything right but still it wasn't enough. His only sin was being born into this world.
Everyone stared at him, it was always that look.. he hated that look. He dropped the ball and walked away. As he continued a smell attracted him to a stand, he stared at all the adults eating and enjoying their ramen meals. His stomach growled but he knows he doesn't have no money , feeling he was about to cry again he ran away.
Mikoto and Sasuke was walking home but stop because they saw the young red hair boy running by "What a weird kid" Sasuke said. She was going to respond until she overheard a conversation
"Did you hear the rumors that the Fourth died because of that demon."
"We should make him disappear already."
"yeah..." one man snarled
Mikoto became angry but kept her cool she looked down towards her son and smiled "We shouldn't judge based off someone's troubles, just be grateful that you're not going through the same.. go ahead and head home I need to grab something." Sasuke proceeded with the information in mind and continued his walk home confused.
With Naruto
Naruto was running through the forest trying to clear his mind. He always try not to dwell on the negative thoughts but it's been getting hard. He landed next to a creek with streaming water. He sees fish but has no way of catching it , he thought real hard about it until something clicked.
"Ah HAAAA, I'M AWESOME!!" He smiled brightly
He pulled a piece of fabric string from his shorts and tied it to a massive stick.
Some time has passed and he caught about 5 , after cooking it over a fire he began eating alone.
While enjoying his meal , a weird woman appeared out of no where and started sniffing his food. "Mmm? What do you got there? Smells good" Mikoto asked smiling softly
"AHHH" The little boy yelled and face faulted.
After scaring the living crap out of the boy , Naruto sat back up tilting his head to the side. "Oh um excuse me ma'am.. who are you?"
She just smiled at the young man but before she said anything..
Grumble Grumble, Naruto stomach bubbled out loud. The pair looked at each other then started laughing. Naruto smiled
"Mann I'm hungry, here eat this lady" handing her a fish
Mikoto smiled "Ohh thank you young man, this looks good" she bit it and burn her tongue "Oww hot hot hot"
The pair started laughing again
It was getting dark and the two was looking in the sky "Look at the stars. Really put the vastness of the world in perspective. Yes.. I believe the world is boundless." Mikoto said
Naruto smiled "really? Wow you sure know a lot lady!" looking at the sky memorized
"Yes the world is big and we must do what we can to protect it and the people we care about"
"No kidding? Is it that big? But why protect?"
"Because this is our world, it's our job to. Well someone like me can't do it so I'm going have to rely on you" Mikoto said smiling softly, while going through her pockets, she pulled out a scroll. "Here have this , there's some stuff in there to help you get by, every hero should be big and strong. I'm Mikoto Uchiha if you ever need something you can hang out in our forest grounds but you can't tell anyone about it okay it's located at the edge of the village."
Naruto eyes sparkled he was never given anything , he grabbed it while nodding. He smiled brightly
Mikoto stood up and smiled once again after that she started walking away.
"DON'T WORRY LADY UCHIHA, I WILL PROTECT THIS WORLD NO MATTER WHAT I'M NARUTO UZUMAKI PROTECTOR OF THIS WORLD BELIEVE IT!!" The young blonde boy shouted.
Naruto sat there alone enjoying the night.
Naruto looking at the embers of the fight light, he dreamt of the future. His musings was cut off when he felt something or someone behind him. Quickly turning around his eyes widened on what he saw a tall man with long brown hair. Having long brown hair that's cut short on top. Two locks wrapped in bandages framed either side of his face. His eyebrows were cut short , a symbol of his nobility. He has blue markings around his eyes, which were turned up at the corners. He wore a high collared, light-coloured kimono held closed by a dark sash. The collar of the kimono was adorned with magatama. He wore a black full-bodied suit underneath. He see the mysterious man face due the full moon light and he can see red maelstrom like swirling eyes glowing.
"Wh-Who are you..? What do you want?" Naruto muttered out
"Soon shall be the time of your undoing… A torrent of madness. A tempest of death and despair for which the human body can't atone shall sweep over you."
Naruto eyes widened in shock 'Who is this, what is he talking about?' He thought frantically
The mysterious person continued "Remember young one, you was born next to a corpse and lived life in the mud as a sacrifice… You are closer to death then anyone, thus experiencing sins of man is inevitable. Struggle, Challenge and rise to struggle again.. that's the only tool one can use in the face of death. Don't forget that.."
His eyes glowed ominously "Take heed for which it's the blessed eyes that reflects the heart that will take everything from you.." then suddenly the man disappeared into the wind, like a ghost.
Naruto still breathing hard from fear decided to go home.
Hyūga Compound
Hinata sighed tiredly as she showered it was times like this when she couldn't help but think about the day that her world changed.
Flashback Start
The large Hyūga clan meeting hall was where the elders and leaders of both main and branch families met to discuss any issue about the clan or the village. Right now, it was filled to near full capacity with many members of both branches awaiting news about a special event happening now.
The young clan heiress Hyūga Hinata was one of the many members kneeling properly on the well-polished main floor, her hands clenching tightly at the fabric of her richly-appointed lavender kimino as she willed herself not to run away from the harsh scrutiny of her older relatives. The reason why she was nervous was because she was left alone, away from her parents who usually protected her from those that hated her shyness and gentleness. These were traits apparently unbecoming of a Hyūga heiress in the eyes of the more arrogant and prideful members of the clan.
Ever since Hinata was born, all she knew was scorn from most of the clan's main branch for her kind nature. All Hyūga clan members were supposed to be strong and take pride in their clan being arguably the most powerful in the village, always competing with the Uchiha clan for that position. The fact that she hadn't shown the 'required' amount of clan pride was a point of offense for the older Hyuugas. Instead, she preferred to see herself as equals with others, including the branch members.
This was a sore subject for many, especially when a branded branch member named Neji was clearly the clan's rising prodigy; not her or any one of the other main branch members. Meanwhile, the Uchiha clan head Fugaku already had a talented child in Itachi, who was just promoted to ANBU at age ten and would make captian rank before long.
The only solace Hinata got from the constant harassment by the entire clan she might be in charge of one day was her mother and father. Her mother loved her unconditionally and allowed her to be who she wanted to be. Her father, while stern in public, cared for her deeply and refused to take the elders' negative words about her to heart. She believed that she would survive even the most horrid treatment as long as she had the love and support of her parents.
This day was grating on her already low self-confidence however.
"….who knows, maybe this new child will replace that weak girl and we can finally have a proper heiress. She'll be branded and thrown in with the branch members she apparently adores so much." one elder was overheard speaking somewhat loudly. Several branch members in earshot, including young Neji and his father, frowned.
This cruel banter was only a small part of all Hinata had to hear throughout the day and her resolve was starting to break. However, she had to remain strong for her parents, who were currently occupied with giving birth to a new child. She knew she would be rewarded for her perseverance with having a younger sister to love and grow up with.
She also hoped the bleak news about her beloved mother's condition would improve soon.
Finally, after what seemed like eternity, the main doors to the meeting hall slowly opened to reveal one Hyūga Hiashi, Hinata's father. The entire hall fell silent with his presence, since being the powerful head of the clan demanded that respect. Hinata almost jumped up in delight, and had to work to keep her composure as a 'proper' Hyūga in front of the others.
Any hope of this being a happy occasion was shattered when she saw something wrong in his grim expression.
Hiashi was feeling numb and broken on the inside, despite keeping up the charade of a powerful man on the outside.
He had known that there would be complications with this childbirth due to forewarnings by many doctors, and were prepared for whatever could happen. However, he hoped with every fiber of his being that his beloved wife would survive the childbirth and they would be welcoming a healthy baby girl into this world together.
The baby, now named Hanabi, did survive and was in perfect health. However, Hyūga Hitomi did not live through the process.
Hiashi had to allow himself a long few minutes to shed his tears over his wife's covered body and regain his composure. It would not do him any good to look weak in front of the other main branch members…now that he needed to be stronger than ever for his two beloved daughters.
As he stood in the doorway, he spared a glance at his eldest daughter and his resolve almost shattered into a million pieces as he watched the painful realization slowly creep up on her face with her pale lavender-tinted eyes widening and becoming watery. However, she hadn't allowed any tear to escape yet. He would have been proud of her for being able to keep up a strong appearance this long if the situation didn't require the opposite reaction in his opinion, which was to let it all out and fall into a sobbing heap.
He would allow her that chance soon.
"I bring you mixed news. We have given birth to a very healthy infant. Our newest daughter's eyes are excellent and she will be a strong member of this clan. She shall be called Hanabi, and it is my hope that this clan will help her grow into an outstanding individual." the clan head spoke with a hint of fatherly pride, but there was no happiness in his voice.
No one in the room had said anything or moved to congratulate him. They were obviously sensing there was more to this. He continued.
"However, due to complications during childbirth, my wife Hyūga Hitomi passed away peacefully in her sleep just after she had enough time to hold Hanabi in her arms and name her."
The room remained deathly silent. Only one sound could be heard, and it was coming from Hinata. She was slowly grinding her teeth with trembling eyes, and her hands were now clutching desperately at the fabric of her kimino as she was trying to keep her composure for a while longer.
"With this sad news, there will be no celebration and I wish to retire with my daughters to our house to grieve in privacy for the rest of the day." Hiashi finished with a tone that left no room for objections. He gestured for Hinata to rise from her kneeling position and allowed her to walk past him as he closed the doors.
The entire room then broke into whispers.
"My daughter, you may go ahead. I will retrieve your new sister and join you soon." Hiashi spoke with as much affection he could spare in his tone. Hinata did not object as they split up, and she quickly picked up her pace toward their house.
Hiashi arrived a few minutes later with a tiny bundle in his arms to hear loud sobs and wails filling the house's common area.
After a brief second of searching, he found his eldest daughter kneeling on the floor by the living room table. Her head was buried in her arms resting on top of it as she continued to cry loudly, her tears wetting her kimino that became loose and disheveled from apparently running the rest of the way here.
As if sensing the mood, the little bundle in Hiashi's arms named Hanabi began to wail loudly too. Sighing painfully, the father of two could do nothing but take his seat by Hinata with a soothing hand on her back as he allowed a few tears to run down his cheeks as well.
Flashback End
With Naruto
Naruto was taking a leisurely walk through the quiet walkways of the clans' district admiring the beautiful full moon in all its glory on this night. He made it past the two Hyūga guarding the main gate and was walking along one of the compound's long perimeter walls. He realized it was already almost midnight according to the bright full moon overhead.
As he walked in silence, he heard scraping of feet on a rough surface, – likely roof tiles – but it was barely there. After hunting for food for so long he learned that he was blessed with heightened senses because he was always able to sense anything long before the animal noticed.
His sense of smell was about as good as a normal dog's, so when he made use of this moment with a breeze blowing over him from the compound. He sniffed the air deeply and caught a slight hint of lavender. Was that a fresh shampoo scent?
Naruto narrowed his blue eyes as he scanned his surroundings. The scraping and scuffling sound was getting closer, likely from the other side of the wall. Deciding to follow his instincts, he pressed his back up flat against the compound wall to try to blend into the shadow it was casting from the moonlight. The scent of lavender became stronger as the scuffling got closer.
Then it all fell silent.
A long minute of waiting followed with thick and stuffy tension filling the night air as Naruto rapidly shifted his eyes right and left down the length of the wall on either side. Finally, he heard a light thump as a pair of feet carefully landed onto the street from the top of the wall, and it was like an explosive tag going off right next to him since he was concentrating so hard on his hearing..
He held back a pained gasp and an impulse to jump in surprise as he snapped his head to his right and glimpsed a tall figure clad entirely in a black stealth outfit.
His body shifted into a ready state as his eyes searched the figure and zeroed in on a small bundle in the figure's left arm. He noted right away that it was a little girl in a white nightgown, and she was tied up tightly and gagged.
Her lavender-tinted eyes were wide open with helpless terror.
Few Minutes Ago in Hinata's Bedroom
She was glad for this kind of day, a day in which the entire clan was busy entertaining a diplomat from the Land of Lightning's Kumogakure.
Earlier , the diplomat signed a tentative peace agreement with Konohagakure to help each other in certain aspects like aids, sharing some missions, and making some military concessions.
That kind of dinner event kept the clan busy with preparations. A busy clan then would not harass Hinata as much, so she relished these days, which were still too few and far in between for her liking. The only things she had to worry about this day were to dress up formally, keep silent, and be composed at the large dining table, and that was it. After she took her bath with Hanabi, she put her younger sister to bed before slipping into in her own futon. Her heavy eyelids began to droop..
The next moment, her pale eyes snapped wide-open as she felt a rough hand cover her mouth and a sharp blade against her neck. She stared right up at the face of a large black-clad man and saw the clear message in his cold and dark eyes.
"Make a sound and you die." He snarled
Her entire body froze at once and she couldn't breathe. So complete was her terror that she barely noticed being pulled out of her bed then tied up and gagged quickly. She only registered bits of the scenery changing as she was carried under the assailant's arm from her bedroom to the compound's rooftops, too terrified to think about anything. It was only when, upon landing on the walkway outside the compound, she locked eyes with a pair of striking blue eyes floating in the shadows by the wall nearby that she came to life.
They widened in surprise and shone brightly in the moonlight. Somehow, she felt her terror abiding, and unconsciously began to struggle. She fully realized now what was happening and decided she didn't want to be taken away from her father and sister, and would do anything to prevent that now. For some reason, she didn't want to just give up in front of these blue eyes.
Naruto saw the girl begin to struggle after they locked eyes. He realizes that she was getting kidnapped he gritted his teeth. This was a bad situation and he doesn't know if he was a match for that black figure or not.
He didn't smell a single trace of this man; based on experience this a good sign of an dangerous animal. He would die before he even got the first syllable out if he tried to alert someone…but he had to save her.
Naruto would be the first out of anyone to know that if she disappeared, she would suffer greatly. Having been through so much already by now, he wasn't going allow that to happen to someone else if he could help it.
As he watched carefully from his hiding spot, he noticed the shinobi was growing frustrated with the girl's struggling, and was getting quite distracted.
This was his chance as he took a steady breath and got ready to pounce.
The black-clad man was growing irritated with the Hyūga girl struggling in his hold.
'Since when did she instantly grow a backbone?' He gathered from observing his primary target at the dinner earlier tonight that she was a cowardly and submissive girl. He thought she was going to be the easier of the two Hyūga females to kidnap for his secret mission in an effort to acquire more kekkei genkai carriers for Kumogakure. His disguise as a diplomat was a ruse in order to study the security of the Hyūga Compound up close so he could attempt the snatch after he returned to his hotel room.
What would happen to the young girl and the shit storm that'd come when news of this got out…he didn't care. He was happy to serve the Raikage, and could almost taste the glory and fame that came with being the one to bring the famed Byakugan to his village-
His musings was cut off when suddenly Naruto with all his might punched him across the face but to his horror the attack did little to no damage. Naruto had thought that would knocked him out so he didn't expected this to happen.
The man snarled but got a good look at the boy… Red hair and blue eyes.. suddenly recognition gleamed on his face remembering a certain man with a Uzumaki woman, he smiled menacingly
"Konoha is becoming lax in its security…" the man said with a grin on his face. "I never thought that the Intel could've left this out… You know the Yondaime Hokage is known for his kindness… I question that though, his actions during the Third Shinobi World war were not actions of a kind man. Nevertheless, I think I will use you for ransom…" the rumbled before shaking his head.
Naruto stared at the man in confusion not saying a word
"It's unlikely that the village would fall to its knees over just a little boy, even if that boy is the Hokage's son. The leader always puts the village first…"
Naruto world just crashed down on him, He and Hinata eyes widened at the revelation.
Before Naruto could react he was grabbed by the Kumo Nin, The man paused, and held Naruto with just one hand while his right took out a Kunai. He snarled "those eyes… I've always hated them" he smiled "you know what?" Naruto screamed in agony as the lightning amp kunai cut through his right eye, drawing out blood. The man licked the blood, and smiled maliciously. "Tastes good," he said before letting go of the boy.
As Naruto was about to hit the ground, the man suddenly twisted and slammed a brutal kick into the chest of the boy. When the kick connected with his chest, Naruto felt the air in his lungs escape as he gasped for air before coughing up blood as the kick sent him crashing into a tree. Naruto cried as his back crashed into the tree in brutal fashion.
"We lost our loved ones during the war, I think it is only fair if the Yondaime loses his son as well… you're unworthy of my mercy" the man said menacingly.
Naruto was on his butt, his hands clutching his chest in pain. Something may have been broken when the man kicked him. He was sure of it. He didn't mind his aching back or the blood leaking out of his eye, his chest hurt more.
More worrying was the beat of his heart. He was afraid. The man looked serious. This was pain he was feeling… this man was going to kill him. There was no other way he could save that girl. The man wanted to kill him all because he was the supposed Yondaime Hokages son and there's nothing he can do about it.
Was this it? Was this the warning that man had told him? He wasn't about to die, not yet; he still had many years to live. He had yet to achieve something. This was reality and Naruto didn't like it. He rejected it. He couldn't accept it. He couldn't it.
Then that word 'Unworthy' he's heard that word his whole life.
There were so many thoughts going inside Naruto's head that he went down to his knees, whispering things while the rampant thoughts made is head ache, so much that he had to clutch it while trembling violently.
What was happening inside his head was a voice telling him that he was pathetic and weak and for that reason, he was going to die.
Naruto was denying that, repeatedly saying "no no no no no no no no no no…"
"Oi, brat, what's wrong with you?" His attacker questioned, walking over to the redhead. "Are you that afraid of dying? Well, any kid would be in this situation…"
The moment the man reached him, and grabbed the blonde by his head, trying to get him to face him, a maximum of six red chakra chains burst forth, catching the man by surprise. The chains pierced through the man's body, lifting him up into the air, while ripping him apart. His screems echoed through the forest in a resounding voice. Perhaps what made it worse were the flames that were lit in all the chains inside his body. They were burning him… to be more literal, they were melting his insides.
Hinata was in horror seeing the gruesome death before her but she knew that the mysterious boy saved her.
Naruto looked up to the man who was above him. As he did so, the crimson liquid known as blood gushed all over to his head, rolling down on his face until it was painted in the red mask. Naruto' eyes were wide as he looked at the now silent man. Something slapped his face. It was not blood, and it came from the man's gut.
His body went cold as his eyes and the chains dispersed. As they did, the man fell into Naruto. The redhead didn't make a sound. He remained still under the heavy body. His body was frozen, his mind numb finally he got up and went towards Hinata and collapsed.
With Fugaku
The moon light cascaded throughout the village of Konoha as Fugaku started making his way back to the Uchiha compound. He and some men had just finished a mission, now were silently discussing the latest details of the Uchiha coup. He has been lucky enough for the clan to be convinced to postpone the coup due to a lacking number of Uchiha in the shinobi force.
Fugaku Uchiha advocated to wait for a couple years until there were more Uchiha shinobi capable of such a feat before they would act. No doubt he was counting on his second son Sasuke to be a prodigy like his brother, in order for him to also be able to effectively participate in the Coup.
They was in the market district of the village when he heard cries. Immediately his shinobi instincts kicked in, and all 4 darted off towards the origins of the sound. He arrived at the outskirts of the nearby forest, where he was met with the horrible sight of what could pass as a murder scene. There was pieces of a corpse spread around and blood everywhere but leaning on tree was a child that had red hair, but that was all that he could gather of his natural appearance. His face had one black eye, but the right looked to be damaged , a vertical slash doing irreversible damage with multiple other bruises. His shirt was torn to shreds
With much strength shakily the boy spoke "Stay… away…" he muttered weakly but firm. Fugaku almost smiled this boy was impressive, killing a Jonin at such a age. It's unheard of.
The four men looked around. "Shit. We late…" One of them cursed looking at the scene.
"Is he okay?" Another asked fearfully, looking at the redhead.
There was a tense moment because they knew if something had happened to Naruto, it would be war. Slowly, Fugaku kneeled down and peeled off the crying girl from his arms. He suppressed the edge to swallow hard when he saw the state of the dead man as he focused on Naruto. There was a sigh of relief when he found the redhead to be okay.
"He is okay," Fugaku said, "physically… at least. We better take him to the hospital and go inform Hokage-sama"
Mount Myoboku : Land of Toads
Mount Myoboku is a sacred place of the land of toads, the place where all the toads that Minato and Jiraiya have summoned live. It is home for huge and small toads alike. Mount Myoboku is a rich and beautiful land, whose ultimate authority seems to be under the Great Toad Sage. Shima and Fukasaku are both elders and sages, and they seem to have an even higher authority than the great Gamabunta himself.
Gamamaru, more commonly known as the Great Toad Sage, is the oldest and most respected toad of all the inhabitants of Mount Myoboku. Because of his age, the other toads affectionately call him Great Honorable Geezer. He is famed for his highly accurate prophecies. And there's a prophecy he was about to give.
The Great Sage Toad was resting when he suddenly had a vision. But this vision was painful and cruel. In his vision he saw fire, pain and death. The blood flew in rivers.
Gamamaru Dream
Everything was burning. There were flames everywhere, trees were in sunders, thunders echoed and the smell of burned flesh filled the air as Gamamaru observed his surroundings. It didn't take much time for him to find out where he stood. Gamamaru looked towards the remains of a nearby mountain. On the ground was half the body of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage of Konoha.
Gamamaru's eyes widened in disbelief at the state of the first born hidden village in the elemental nations. The strongest of great five nations was nothing more than burning ruins, not a single building stood. As Gamamaru made his way through the wreckage he approached the middle of the village, he saw a massive hole and in the middle of the huge crater stood a man right in the center of it.
In the middle of the crater was two people.
A man with long red hair, waist length, spiky hair with bangs that framed his face and partially covered his right eye. This person was calmly standing above someone, smiling as he enjoyed the destruction around him. This red haired person was firmly gripping his sword which was driven straight through the heart of the other person, lying on the ground, in a pool of his own blood.
This person was a tall man with waist-length, spiky white hair, with two shoulder-length bangs that framed both sides of his face. He also had red lines that ran down from his eyes and wore a horned forehead protector with the kanji for 'Oil'. By his shoulder were two dead toads as well, toads that Gamamaru knew too well, Fukasaku and Shima.
Gamamaru could barely breathe from the killing intent that permeated throughout the ruins , as he stared at his dead summoner and the two elders of his own clan he couldn't help but think "How could this happen?" Gamamaru wondered out loud and the red haired man seemed to hear his words. Red Sharingan eyes sharply looked directly at him. The Great Sage eyes widened , how did this man transcend time to notice my presence?
"You seem surprised" the red haired man said in a deep voice as he raised his head and two red maelstrom like eyes with a ominous feeling flared to life. Gamamaru flinched when he saw the his eyes, eyes that radiated hate and malice in waves. Even the man's chakra seemed to darken everything around him.
"The eyes of God… This cannot be. Indra is that you? What happened to you?" Gamamaru said as everything he had watched before was simply thrown away by this new vision.
"I am what they made me…" the man said ominously at Gamamaru's shocked face.
"Th-this c-can't be" Gamamaru stuttered as he tried to come out with the right words. The man eyes glowed with power at Gamamaru's presence. "W-Who are you? Indra would never do this!" Gamamaru stated while man simply stared stoically. Slowly the man levitated above the village, his palms spread wide open, his chakra skyrocketed to ungodly levels.
"I am.. Death" He muttered
An all white Susanoo sprung into life, it gathered massive amounts of nature chakra and formed a lightning bow and arrow. It was as if he controlled lighting itself.
"Now embrace death with the thunder clap.."
Everything went white and before he could see what was the end the vision it was over and he returned. He was panting and sweating. He felt he just looked into the eye of the Death itself.
''Great Sage are you okay?" Asked Fukasaku who just came in.
''Call Jiraiya immediately." Said the Toad Sage while he tried to collect himself.
''What happened?" Asked Fukasaku with some concern.
''I am not sure yet but I had a vision." Said the sage.
''And what happened in it?" Asked Fukasaku.
''The World was in flames." Said the sage and Fukasaku got scared.
''I summon him immediately." Said Fukasaku and made the seals.
'' Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu ( Reverse Summoning )" Said Fukasaku and Jiraiya appeared in the chamber.
''What the..?" Said Jiraiya who found himself in the Great Sage's chamber.

''We don't have time for your stupid researching, the Sage had a vision." Said Fukasaku and Jiraiya shut up immediately.
''What did you see?" Asked Jiraiya with a serious tone.
The World was in flames and a man who killed everybody and willed the eyes of God. He was the Death itself. But I didn't see the whole vision." Said the Sage.
''What do you mean?" Asked Jiraiya who started to panic.
''I am not sure but the vision seemed incomplete. Maybe in time I will see the rest of it. But be careful Jiraiya, because this man is going to destroy everything." Said the Sage.
'' But Nagato is dead.. do you have a idea who is this man?" Asked Jiraiya hoping that maybe he can prevent this.
''No I didn't but as I said the vision wasn't complete. Maybe the rest of it will give us the answers." Said the Sage and Jiraiya nodded.
'' Okay. I will return to Konoha and tell everything to the old man. Maybe he'll know what to do." Said Jiraiya and the toads nodded. Then Jiraiya summoned himself back to Konoha and went to Hiruzen immediately.
