"General Lamarque is dead."

The words echoed through Le Café Musain, and Les Amis de l'ABC stood in shock.

Enjolras recovered first, his marble stoicism returning, leaving barely a crease on his ivory brow. "Lamarque is dead," the man repeated thoughtfully, stroking his handsome, chiseled chin. "His death is the hour we've been waiting for." His blue eyes flashed and he looked around Le Café at his comrades. "It is time."


Grantaire's time was running out.
