Cutting Off this Big Monkey Tail
Ozpin and James Ironwood are enjoying some tea together in the office while the former is checking the preparations for the Vytal Festival which is only in a few short days from now.
"Everything appears to be in order, the food for the festival ground is done along with the game stands and other things for the festival." Ozpin informed as he closes his hologram computer screen.
"And so far, everything appears to be quiet since the Breach incident. That makes me worry even more." Ironwood admitted.
"About the true masterminds behind the Breach and having Roman take the fall, am I correct?" Ozpin asked.
"Yes, Roman keeps claiming that he's the one who planned that Breach with all the Dusts stolen and the Mechs he managed to take from me, but I know better than to think a thief even with his kills could pull off a feat like that alone even with the White Fang's help." Ironwood stated.
"Indeed, Roman would only do this sort of thing if he was taking orders from someone greater and not in this for the money as well." Ozpin nodded.
"I can feel it in my guts, something big is happening and that something has to involve with the Queen." Ironwood clutched his hand.
"Easy James, don't want to let out too much negative emotions for the Grimms to come rampage in the city." Ozpin calmed his friend and joking a little at the same time.
"Sorry, it's kind of hard to do so." James apologized.
"It's always hard whether you're running a military and Hunter school or part of a secret war, harder if you become too deep into it." Ozpin stated.
"Speaking from experience, I see." James saw what Ozpin was doing just now.
"Experience that I'm hoping you all learn from and do better." Ozpin said.
Suddenly the alarms went off with the hologram screen coming back up blinking in a red color and the word "ALERT" on it in a yellow color.
"What's going on?" James asked, getting himself ready to call his men into action.
"The alarm system went off and it appears to be coming from the Emerald Forest, next in the area where the old ruin structure is." Ozpin checked on the data.
"Must be Grimms, I really hate it when those things suddenly come out at the worst timing when we were having a peaceful time." James angered, really hate those Grimms just like any other days.
"Not possible, while there are Grimms in the Emerald Forest, none of them would go toward that ruin to attack." Ozpin explained.
They suddenly heard what appears to be a soft roar which must have come from a loud roar of a Grimm monster, but Ozpin started to think this Grimm feels a bit off for some reason.
"Well, it certainly sounds like that Grimm is having a stroll at the ruin." James commented upset.
"Hold on, I'm bringing up the footage of the area to see just what kind of Grimm we're dealing with." Ozpin typed on his desk and pressed enter to bring up the live footage from the security camera.
But what they saw through the security footage was something else they did not expect nor even seen something like this ever in their lives, a giant monkey monster is rampaging in the Emerald Forest, and it looks like some of Ozpin's students are there too.
"We need to get some ships down there and take out that Grimm!" James ordered.
"James, I know this is gonna sound crazy when I say this, but I don't think that's even a Grimm." Ozpin said.
Ozpin knows about the Horde of Grimm all too well because every single one of them is always black with red eyes and have some white bones for armor, but this monster doesn't have either of those things save for the red eyes.
"(I don't know why, but I feel like I know that monster somehow.)" Ozpin thought felt this instinct in his head.
(Emerald Forest, Ruin)
The giant ape monster Kakarot roars some more while pounding his chest hard like a normal gorilla with a little shockwave, everyone around has become completely shocked of the sudden transformation of the monkey boy.
"No, if only I knew it was gonna be a full moon tonight." Ghira cursed himself.
"Dad, what is going on with my baby monkey brother? Why did he suddenly turn into a giant ape monster?" Blake asked as she is freaking out.
"Oh, I knew you were going to find out about this sooner or later." Kali worried.
"What? You knew about this too, mom?" Blake shocked.
"You know, I always thought Kakarot was too big of a monkey for his own good, but I didn't literally mean that big!" Weiss screamed.
"The rumors I heard about a giant ape monster suddenly appearing one night in Menagerie then disappeared when morning came the next morning, they were true." Adam recalled hearing that rumor.
"And that monster was Kakarot all along." Adam realized the truth now.
Yang threw a blast from her Ember Celica for Adam's head though he quickly reacted with holding his red sword to block the blast and getting a little power-up with his Semblance too.
"Don't you dare call my boyfriend a monster even when he's monkeying around big time!" Yang glared angry at Adam.
Giant ape Kakarot started moving with a vicious glare at anything in his sight to destroy starting with a few trees knocking them down with his arm, one White Fang soldier is scared with his legs shaking in fear rapidly.
"To think he was hiding this kind of power. He could have used that power to help the Faunus get our revenge on the humans, yet he dares to deny the fights of our people's anger!" Adam growled a bit and looks at Kakarot.
And saw that his giant foot coming down at him, Adam quickly moves out of the way before he could become flat with the grass.
Giant Ape Kakarot roars again only to be silent for a bit when the scared White Fang soldier shoots some fire Dust bullets from his little machine gun, all while screaming like a little high-pitch girl.
But no matter how many times the White Fang soldier shoots the fire Dust bullets at the ape monster, it is unfazed from that firepower and Kakarot roars in anger at the attacker and charges forward to throw a fist down to crush him.
Luckily for the White Fang soldier, he was saved at the last minute by Blake.
"Get out of here, leave Beacon and never be near me or my family again. Got it?" Blake threatened with a blade to his neck.
"Yes, yes, promise! Just get me out of here!" The White Fang soldier screamed and ran away.
"Guess the fangs part were just for show." Ruby joked a bit.
"Look out!" Weiss screamed and everyone quickly got out of the way from the giant fist punched the ground making a slight earthquake.
"Kakarot! Stop, don't you know who you're trying to squish?" Krillin called out, hoping to reach his best friend.
But the giant monkey boy just growls at the bald young man and threw down a fist to crush him though Krillin slide away from the spot by using his turtle shell shield as a slide and Weiss unleash a big fireball attack on the shoulder. Kakarot roars in anger and tries to punch Weiss who moves out of the way in time.
"No, please don't hurt my baby!" Kali begged.
"In case you haven't noticed, Misses. Belladonna, but your "baby" is trying to kill us!" Weiss yelled softly and pointed at Kakarot.
"It's not Kakarot's fault, that transformation causes him to be in a wild primal state that he can't recognize anything even himself. Like a wild animal just going on instinct alone." Ghira explained.
Kakarot threw down another punch to crush some of the runaway White Fang soldiers who decided to call it a day, and Yang jumps to clash with the other giant fist that seem to have stop only for a second and she gets slammed down onto the ground.
Ruby burst in with her Semblance and started slashing away on the stomach area a bunch of times then heads back down, but she gasps upon seeing that she didn't leave a single scratch.
"A wild animal with a super tough body!" Ruby yelled.
"Is there any way to stop him without killing him?" Yang asked as groans in pain even though she had her aura to protect her from that attack.
"Well, since mom and dad are the only ones who know more about this than the rest of us, they should know a way." Blake said in a slightly angry tone.
"Blake, are you angry because we kept this secret about your little brother from you?" Kali asked as she runs up to her daughter.
"Angry? Why would I be angry that maybe I wasn't trustful enough to know that my little brother, who we found in that metal pod that fell from the sky, can turn into a giant ape monster!" Blake yelled a little, before grabbing her mom and moving out of the way for Kakarot's foot.
"We're sorry, but we were worried about how you would react if we told you the truth." Ghira said.
"We know how much Kakarot means so much to you since you were the one who found him, it just that maybe you would be scared of him if you knew as a little girl." Kali pointed out.
"But that doesn't mean you shouldn't stop loving your brother, like how Yang and I still love each other." Ruby pointed out as she appears next to them and fired some Dust bullets at Kakarot.
"Well, I guess I would be scared to know that, and probably not want to be around him for a while." Blake admitted now that she thinks about it.
Blake thinks back on all the times she and Kakarot have done together like playing games when they were little kids, all the training sessions to become stronger together even though Kakarot has always seem to be ahead of her, and how the whole family is always together in every moment of their lives.
"But right now, all that matters is helping my little brother get back to normal right now." Blake determined which the parents are very proud of their daughter.
"That's great, but how do we do that exactly?" Yang asked.
"And you better think of something and fast, I just got a text from Jaune that Beacon is sending the Atlas military over here to deal with him." Weiss informed and showed her Scroll.
"If they get to Kakarot while he's still like this, the military will take him away and probably do experiments to make Ironwood's soldiers like that too." Ghira feared.
"Hey! The Atlas Military is all about serving and protecting lives, we do not make monsters!" Weiss defended the military of Atlas.
"But it's Ironwood I don't trust considered how very strict and "cautious" this man is." Ghira said with his eyes narrowed showing he doesn't trust Ironwood whole.
"Let's just focus with the giant rampaging Kakarot." Blake pointed out.
"Mom, dad, how do we stop him?" Blake asked her parents.
"Well, I only saw him transform once when we went on mother-son sand surfing competition while you and your father were still home." Kali explained.
"Lucky, there wasn't anything for him to destroy besides smashing some sand and being really loud. I only had to wait until sunrise for Kakarot to change back." Kali explained on solution.
"I don't think we can wait all night for the sun." Yang pointed out.
Weiss stabs her sword on the ground to let out a big ice attack that to trap the right foot making Kakarot angry and easily broke free from the ice, and he goes to try crushing Weiss only for the Schnee Heiress to zoom around using the Time Dilation of her Glyph.
"What's the other thing we can do?" Blake asked.
"Oh, I do remember tricking him to punched himself so hard that he went out-cold about two hours before sunrise." Kali mentioned.
"And we can also squeeze his tail, it's still his big weakness to become weaker when it's being squeeze though it'll be a little hard with him being so big right now." Ghira explained.
"Okay, we can work with this. We just need to keep him distracted long enough for us to wrap the ribbon of Gambol Shroud on the tail and squeeze it." Blake said holding her weapon.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH?!" Yang screamed and landed right next to the Belladonna family.
"Great plan, and you're gonna need my strength now that I'm all charged up from that one hit." Yang volunteered to help.
"I can help with the distraction." Krillin wanted to help too, he fired a few missiles from the shell hitting the Great Ape even though they don't do anything to him, they do get his attention on him.
"But please hurry!" Krillin said before he ran away.
"Alright, you giant monkey boy!" Ruby glared and zooms over then jumps very high.
"How do you like the taste of lightning on your taste buds!" Ruby aimed her Crescent Rose at the opened mouth and fired four lightning Dust bullets into Kakarot's mouth.
Of course, this would make Kakarot angry from feeling his tongue suddenly struck by a few lightning bolts and tries to smack Ruby away only for her to zoom away back down to Krillin.
Kakarot roars again pounding his chest with his fists and something started to glow from the inside of his mouth, Ruby notice this and gets a really bad idea from how his mouth is glowing like that and her fear came true when he aims his mouth down at Ruby and Krillin that an energy blast was fired.
"Shit!" Ruby cursed and used her superspeed Semblance to get herself and Krillin away.
The explosion of the energy blast was strong to cause a shockwave to send Ruby and Krillin tumbling on the ground and shaken from the shockwave too.
"Did he just vomit an attack?!" Krillin gasped.
"Guys, we could really use some help right about now!" Ruby called out.
"We're on it!" Weiss conjured some ice again to have both feet trapped this time and making it bigger than before too.
But this would only be a short distraction as Kakarot can easily break out of the ice with his mighty ape strength, but that would be enough time for Blake to throw her Gambol Shroud to wrap around the tail and it reach to the other side where Yang is waiting and grabbing the blade.
"PULL!" Blake shouted as she and her family along with Ruby and Krillin helping pulled on the long ribbon.
Yang powers up to her Semblance and feels extra strong thanks to that big she got from Kakarot early, she pulls on her end causing the ribbon to tighten a little hard on his tail and Kakarot starts to groan in pain and starting to feel weaker too after firing two energy blast from his mouth.
"Now we just need to knock him out while he's still in his weaken state." Ghira said.
"And how do we do that?" Krillin asked.
But before anyone could think of something, Adam ran into the run and jump for the tail powering up every ounce of strength from his Semblance to slice the tail right off making Kakarot scream in pain, and everyone is shocked of seeing this.
Kakarot roars while his body slowly shrinks back down to his normal size and falls down unconscious as Adam looks down on him.
"You could've been part of the solution for the Faunus' revenge." Adam said.
"ADAM?!" Yang screamed.
Adam turns around to see Yang coming right at him faster than he could almost react and threw a powerful punch on his face so hard that she destroyed his mask and sent him flying far away, about 2-3 miles away or a little further.
"You're so lucky you're not worth the kill!" Yang angered before going to check on her boyfriend.
"Is he okay?" Yang asked.
"He's fine, just unconscious, but… it looks like he won't be happy once he sees his tail is no longer there." Blake answered.
"Freeze!" An Atlas soldier shouted getting the group's attention as the Atlas Military has arrived with Ironwood and Ozpin walking up to them along with a worried Glynda.
"You have some explaining to do." Ironwood said in a firm tone.
Blake and everyone look at each other for a moment knowing this isn't going to be easy to defend Kakarot and cool down the angry general.

Well, the giant rampaging monkey has been taken care of though unexpected by Adam who cut off Kakarot's tail at the last moment, and now Atlas arrived probably going to try taking the Saiyan boy in for some questioning along with his family. Let's hope this won't ruin the family fun time in the Vytal Festival.
