"Henry has been gone a long time," Mina said, looking out a porthole, the doctor had said he would be gone no more than an hour; it had been an hour and a half, the man was many things, but he was practically obsessive with his self image as a gentleman, and being late was far from being one.
Something was wrong
Mina did not need her vampirism to tell her that.
"Come on Mina, you know how he is with those chemical supplies, might as well be on the moon when he's looking at that stuff," Tom offered.
"I know something is wrong," Mina said, already moving to put on her outdoor coat "If anyone wishes to join me, they are welcome."
"Something does seem off about all this, I will come with you," Nemo offered, he learned long ago to trust his gut, and something told the captain that his friend was in trouble...
Or he was going to be.

Jekyll stumbled over to his bag, his head was throbbing he needed the chloroform; Henry would knock the bastard out and drag him back to Mina and Nemo, wash his hands of the whole thing, he was done with his attempts to do this cleanly.
"KILL him already! You are just wasting more time!"Hyde bellowed "we are going to get caught carting his carcass around, and then we are both done! Just leave the asshole here to rot! You know how perceptive Mina and Nemo are, they will find out if you make them suspicious enough, and getting carted off to jail for getting caught with a half-dead human rat would do it!"
"Edward, just be quiet...we need to-"
"Seems you have a rather bad concussion...allow me to help," came a voice from behind Jekyll as another blow slammed into the doctor's head, blood spurt from Henry's nose as he skidded across the ground.
Hyde was screaming, but Henry could not make out what he was saying.
Everything hurt
Was this how he died?
No.
Dorian yelped as the pipe he had grabbed was ripped from his hands and smashed into his ribs, how!? The milksop should not be able to move after all of that!
"You...once...asked me...what good I waaas...without hYde...allow me...to SHOW YOU!" Henry slurred, Dorian little more than a blur in front of him, but it was more than enough to afford him the ability to strike out with the pipe.
Flashbacks to Carew's death flashed through Jekyll's mind, the white hot rage as Hyde brought down the cane, again, and again, and again, the poor man had done nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time, his death weighed heavy on the doctor's heart, the first of many because of the potions influence over him...
But this...this he would not regret.
Dorian growled as his ribs screamed at him, making a grab for the doctor's hair where he saw a split in the skin that bled freely, hoping to cause even more damage by pulling on it, making a few strands come off in his hand when Henry pulled loose, not caring as it ripped his injury even more.
The once immortal shouted as he was hit directly in the jaw, sending pearly white chips of teeth flying from his mouth before he tackled Jekyll to the floor, sending the pipe spinning across the ground out of both men's reach.
"You are more of a fighter than I gave you credit, I will afford you that compliment, but I have lived and seen more than your mind could ever process!" Dorian bragged as he straddled the doctor, fully intending to beat the other man to death with his bare hands or perhaps strangle him "the only pitiable thing here is that I won't be able to kill you twice."
"Likewise" was all the warning he got.
Dorian went flying.
Henry managed to gain enough of a hold on the ground to buck Dorian off of him, head still spinning but vision thankfully clearing up a bit as he stood up, Hyde now strangely quiet, not that Jekyll cared much at the moment.
"I can do this all day, not that I want to.."
