"You think he returned to see if that traitor was really dead?" Nemo asked as Mina marched herself through the crowds, a few people sparing the odd pair a glance, but the captain was glad to find that no one bothered with more than that.
"I saw Dorian fall to the ground, and then Henry led me away from him, so I did not get any more than a quick look at the body, so it is possible that he wanted to make sure" Mina did not even slow as she said this "I would like to think he would not be so foolish as to take a risk like that, but..."
"With one such as Grey, it is best to make sure," Nemo noted, the doctor was indeed going to be in serious trouble one way or the other.
The sounds of a struggle met their ears and made both run towards the warehouse, Mina, despite still being human and in heels, managed to breech the door before Nemo could and her eyes widened at what she saw.
Both Henry and Dorian were rolling around on the ground, blood soaking them both along with dirt and grime, Mina noted with a slight hint of glee it was evident that her lover was winning and taking note of Dorian's several broken teeth.
Dorian shoved Henry away from him, sending the doctor into a crate with a shout of pain.
Nemo took advantage of the fact his friend was no longer in harm's way as he pulled a small pistol from his coat. "Want to do the honors, Mina?" the ship captain wanted to execute the bastard himself, but he would allow Mina her revenge.
"All yours, captain, I need to tend to that cut on Henry's head," Mina said as she made her way over to Jekyll, not even flinching when the gun went off behind her and reached for Henry's bag nearby and was glad to find most of the stuff she needed on top, he would need more intensive care back at the ship, but she could at least prevent as much infection and further injury as she could.
Nemo made his way over after holstering the pistol, he usually would have used his sword, but he felt that would be too honorable a death, and from the looks he had gotten at his friend's injuries and the impact with the crate, time was not a friend at the moment.
"Mina? Nemo?" Henry slurred.
"We are here, and you are still very much in trouble coming here alone to face Dorian, but that can wait till you are not bleeding all over yourself and the floor," Mina scolded lightly.
"If that is all you are in trouble for, I'd take it" Edward deadpanned "make sure she does not dig too deep in that bag, or you will be in more trouble than for just getting into a schoolyard brawl"
"I am sorry, Mina, I just had to make sure he was dead...I apologize for-" Henry started, only to have his mouth covered by two of Mina's fingers.
"No need for all of that yet, just keep quiet and relax."
Did not need to tell Henry Jekyll twice, things seemed as though they worked out, just so long as the truth never came out on what really happened, but you know what they always say.
Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.
