Nezu sighed deeply as he watched the group of teenagers within his office. "You are already being targeted by the hero commission, you know this is just going to give them more to work with. Thankfully the press haven't caught wind of your actions, so I can sweep it under the rug this one time. As for the rest of you, in a situation like this, I legally must arrest you." The group suddenly became tense, Nezu didn't miss how Izuku did as well. "Thankfully I have a solution to this predicament."

Nezu produced a folder from his desk and placed it in front of the thieves. Makoto leaned over to read the bold red text on the cover: "Shadow execution and examination squadron?" Makoto flipped through the pages, her expression becoming more unreadable as she continued.

"I believe that having a group solely focused around fighting shadows will greatly reduce the strain placed on heroes by the attacks. By exploiting young vigilante rehabilitation laws, the program can clear you of all crimes, and allow you to act freely against shadows. The idea is an altered form of an organisation from the pre-quirk era, given to me by its last remaining member. Hence its name abbreviating to the same as that group. So how would you like to join SEES?"

Futaba yawned loudly as she flopped onto the Midoriyas' settee, the rest of the thieves were spread out around the room in similar positions. "So tired!"

"For real!" Ryujji half spoke half yawned from the other side of the room. He sunk further into the bean bag he sat on, however his rest was interrupted as Morgana jumped on top of his head. "Hey! Get off!"

"I saw the news, didn't think you would be this drained." He looked over to Izuku, the only one who didn't seem exhausted. "How come you're fine?"

"It's probably cause this is the first time you've used your Personas in the real world, and that fight was way harder than when I first used mine." Their conversation halted as Inko entered the room, a bright smile filling her face.

"Ah! They you all are. The news has me worried, but the school told us no one was hurt." She paused to observe how tired the teens were. "If you'd like you could stay the night here, you all seem exhausted."

"Your Mam is too nice." Ryujji commented. The teens were spread out around the room, Ryujji laid on one of the sofa's, the other of which had been seized by Ann. The rest of the group occupied single inflatable mattresses dotted around the room. "Why does she have all this stuff for sleepovers anyway?"

"I think she just got really excited when I told her I made friends." The friends continued to chat for a while, however eventually the thieves tiredness caught up with them, and they fell into unconsciousness.

For Izuku however, his dreams that night were replaced by a conversation he expected to have. The Velvet room faded into view, though now Izuku noticed the pouring rain that descended upon the plane. "It seems that with recent events, the turning point of this world grows nearer." Igor held a card between two fingers, the image of death shown upon it. "A deep change is coming to your world, and you will be the one to dictate it. Now then, how may the Velvet room be of service to you?"

The apartments in which the Midoriyas lived where entered from the outside of the building, as such, the walkway provided an excellent place to watch the streets below, and the night sky above. Which meant it was an ideal place for Haru Okumura to think. The sound of the door opening behind her wasn't a surprise, it would be strange if a phantom thief didn't notice someone sneaking out of a room.

"You alright?" Izuku asked, the signature Midoriya smile upon his face.

"Of course, I just needed a moment to think about everything, with the league of shadows and UA."

"Alright. I-I can go back inside if you-"

"No, no. It's fine. It's... relaxing with you around." The two went quiet, if you where to ask either of them in the future, they would insist they didn't consciously move closer to each other. A few minutes passed, before Haru spoke again: "I was thinking... you know how Nezu said part of that program required us to move nearby?"

"Yeah. He was going to provide accommodation for anyone who couldn't find their own."

"Well... when all that's sorted I'll be in Mustafa most of the time. And ever since you had to leave Tokyo we haven't had much of a chance to do anything so..."

"Oh!" Izuku finally realised: "That's great! You know there's some gardens that opened near here and apparentlythey'rereallygoodandwe-" Izuku's mumbling was interrupted by Haru's giggling.

"Sorry, sorry." The giggling devolves into laughter. "You're just so cute when you do that."

"Sadist." Izuku mumbled. "You just enjoy watching me be embarrassed."

"You'd do the same to me if you had the chance." Okay, maybe Izuku couldn't deny that one.

"Despite the cancellation of the sports festival, you all still got the chance to show what you're capable of." Aizawa spoke once the class had settled down. "Because of this, many of you have received internship requests from heroes. However, before that, you'll need a hero name to go by on the field. And to help you with that, Midnight-"

"I'll be helping you pick your hero names!" Midnight slammed the door open, completely ignoring how Aizawa was part way through his explanation. This was his class, dammit. "A hero name is your first impression on civilians, so it's important you have an effective one. These aren't guaranteed to be your final names, but sometimes a name sticks with civilians, so make sure you don't end up like Eraserhead over there."

Izuku stared down at the whiteboard he was given. Now what?

Author's notes:

I'm going to be honest, I have absolutely no idea what to make Izuku's hero name. I might end up sticking with Joker, but any suggestions are more than welcome.
