Throughout the entire meal, that is known as breakfast, Bellatrix wouldn't stop bouncing in her seat. Even when I told her to stop. Three times, as a matter of fact.
"What? What is going on?" Tom asked, raising his eyebrow at me in question.
"Not a thing," I muttered, ignoring all the looks I received from everyone within the room.
'What are you hiding from me?' He thought, as he chewed and swallowed a bit of toast.
I smirked in response, ignoring his questioning before I turned my attention back to the breakfast plate, that was set on the table before me.
All the while blocking my mind to keep Tom out.
When I looked back up at Tom again, I realized he was narrowing his eyes at me.
Suspicion, was the only thing on his mind as he watched my every move.
"Oh for Merlin's sake! She already has her-—" Bella started before I looked at her with narrowed eyes.
'Crucio...!' I thought, throwing the curse at her. Glaring at her as she writhed on the ground, briefly increasing the pain.
The anger I was feeling, swam speedily through my veins, as I kept my eyes on her.
"Soph... Sophia. Stop it." Tom said, tapping my wrist with his fingertips, breaking my concentration.
I scowled at him, annoyed, but allowed the curse dwindle until it dispersed.
"Oh, well, what happened here? Did I miss anything interesting?" Andi wondered as she sat down on an empty chair along with Ted next to her.
Bellatrix sat up, throwing a smirk my way before I scowled at her in response.
"Sorry." She muttered, embarrassed, as she sat down in her seat.
"Not a thing. Bella was just being Bella, yet again." Tom muttered, sighing, as he chomped down on a roasted tomato.
"Do I need or want to know what just happened?" Andi asked, as she sat down, pulling little Nymphadora onto her lap, bouncing her up and down on her lap.
Before briefly making eye contact with me.
She then smiled down at her daughter, who was tugging on her dark, wavy hair.
"So, what are your plans for the big event. Will your parents be attending?" Molly asked, carefully as she bit into a piece of buttered toast.
"I don't know yet," I answered, honestly.
I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that my parents were still alive.
Or the fact that theyhad willingly chosen to abandon me for the greater good of the world. Or so am I told.
"Annie, it's your wedding day. Your parents should be there with you to see you off. Even if you don't care for them, at the moment." Andi said, a concerned expression on her face.
Everyone seemed to find it alright to be voicing their opinions on the situation that is my life.
Yet, they were bothered by the decision I took concerning it as if their opinions would change my mind.
It was beginning to grate on me.
"Alright. I've just about had enough of this conversation. All of you seem to obviously have your own opinion on this matter, but so do I. You don't know what I went through, even if it was for a few years or—or my entire life! They still left me. So, I would truly appreciate it if you all keep your opinions just where they are, to yourselves. I don't want them, nor need them here, especially at this moment." I uttered, standing up from the table.
As soon as I was done speaking, I left the room altogether.
Nothing angered me more than being placed between a rock and a hard place.
It had me thinking back to those lonely nights at the orphanage.
It was on one of those nights that I made myself a promise.
My future husband, and children would never have to make a decision like the one I am having to make right now.
At least, I hoped that they would never have to make any type of decision that involved separation.
Now, to go speak to Abraxas and his wife, Dawn, privately.
I had just gathered the twins along with my travel bag when Tom walked into the room.
This task needed to be done as soon as possible.
"Are you planning to go somewhere?" He asked, surprised, as he walked into the room.
"Yes," I answered, as I slipped my traveling cloak on.
"Where?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
I looked over to him, before sighing.
'Malfoy Manor.' I thought to him.
"What ever for?" He asked, concerned.
"Business," I answered, looking down at the twins.
Realizing this task would be better if I left alone.
"Do you mind if the babies stay with you?" I asked, looking up at him.
"No, not at all. Will you be long?" He asked.
I sighed placing them back into their crib before straightening up.
"No, I should be back within a few hours, Bellatrix and two others will be going with me," I explained.
He simply nodded in response, before he walking over to me, and pulling me into a tight hug.
"Just be careful. I don't want anything happening to you, love," He says, before he pulls back, only enough to lower his lips onto mine, giving me a tender kiss before he released me.
"I will. I promise." I say, pecking his lips once more before I turn to leave.
I looked back towards him, watching as he checked on the babies', before he made his way towards the bed, climbed onto it. Reaching out to grab the book he had left on the bedside table.
I leaned down to kiss the babies goodbye, before I pull on my travel cloak, grabbing my bag before walking towards the room.
After I walked out of the room, I quickly made my way down the stairs, and towards the front door.
"Are you ready to go, Annie?" Bella asked as she bounced on the balls of her feet.
She along with Eva and Andi were waiting for me in the sitting room.
"I am," I replied, smiling as she continued to bounce on the balls of her feet.
"So, we are ready to go then?" She asked, smiling excitedly at me.
I nodded before inclining my head to the side, gesturing for them to follow me.
Evangeline and Andromeda decide to use the Floo Network to head to Malfoy Manor.
While Bella and I opted to go using apparation.
Bellatrix and I appear at the front gate, tapping the side silently before watching it slowly creek open.
Once the gate opened, Bella and I slowly made our way towards the manor.
Now, came the fun part. Asking the Malfoys' for permission to use their garden this Saturday.
