One moment we were in the small room, planning, the next we were on the move.
Tom had summoned a few of our friends to meet us just outside of the entrance.
Dolohov, Rosier, Runcorn, and many others stood there. To my blood surprise even Peggy Parkinson stood there, though how she and her friends managed to receive the mark is beyond my comprehension.
Tom smirked at me as we walked out to be met with this sight.
Bella smirked before practically skipping to Bastan's side. "What did you find?" She asked him.
"We captured Pettigrew just outside of Bristol. He's been taken to headquarters, and neutralized until further notice." He replied as he looked over at us.
I nodded, before turning to scan the crowd, realizing that all those who attended our wedding were there as well.
Even Lily, Molly, Grisha, and Torin, along with their significant others.
My eyes landed on Andi, who gave me a look of understanding before I looked over at Tom.
"How do you want to proceed?" I asked him quietly.
He raised a brow before taking my hand into his. "What do you say togoing get our children back?" He asked in response.
I gave him watery smile before nodding.
"I need you all to divide into groups." He called towards the large group.
They all divided according before listening to the instructions Tom was saying.
We were all going to the location I found earlier.
Apparently upon further inspection of the location, Tom realized that there was multiple entrances and exits.
Each group was to take down anyone in our way, while the main group was to search for the missing children.
It seemed like the perfect plan, until it wasn't.
We arrived and everything was going to plan until we were separated.
Bastan, Bella, Cissy, Ted, Lucius, Reggie, and Avery were in my group.
We managed to take down all those who tried to stop us.
Searching each room and coming up empty handed.
An hour passed before we finished searching, feeling disappointed.
"Tom, and his group found them. He said to head back to the place in Grimmauld. He'll meet us there." Bastan said, frowning.
We apparated back, instructing the other groups to head back to their respective homes, and keep an eye out for further instructions.
The moment we reached the safe house, I ignored everyone and headed towards the kitchen to distract myself.
A few moments later I realized I had overdone it, and quickly placed all the baked goods in storage bins before placing them in the pantry.
After I finished cleaning, I made my way towards the sitting room, where everyone was sitting.
Moments later the room seemed to be shaking as I paced angrily back and forth throughout the room.
Apparently a few of the guys had gone to help Tom, while he sent back the ladies.
Tom, Bastan, Reggie, Sirius, the other men had gone.
Leaving meand the rest of the ladies to sit here anxiously awaiting their return.
I felt incompetent, like a complete and utter failure, as random objects wereflying across the room, unable to control as the short bursts of magic flew out sporadically while I paced.
Tom sneakily denied me to accompany them, while I was distracted in the kitchen.
'Where I failed once, I won't fail again.' I thought, as my nails dug into the palm of my hand as yet another book flew across the room with, landing on the floor face down somewhere.
Why is it that each and every single thing in this world, and universe seemed to be against, or working against us being together?
It seemed that no matter how much progress we made, something was always there to stop us from being happy.
Nothing seemed to work, no matter what precaution we had taken.
Something always happened, and someone always got hurt.
The attack at our wedding only seemed to solidify my thoughts from a few days ago.
Losing someone would be even more devastating, then what we've already lost.
Their deaths won't be for nothing. They will be avenged, one way or another.
Finally after what seemed to be an eternity, the door slamming into the wall brought me out of my thoughts. Tom walked in, along with the others trailing in behind him.
"Did-- Did you find them?" I asked, as I ran to him.
"Yes. They're all fine." He replied, as I ran towards him.
It was then I noticed what he held in his arms. Without hesitation I quickly snatched the twins from his arms, and pulled them close to my chest.
"Di-did you catch who it was?" I asked, trying to contain my anger.
"Yes, they've been taken to the cells within cellar of Malfoy Manor. They'll be taken care of later." Tom said, looking at me.
I nodded, as I sat down, feeling as both Adley and Arlo leaned their head against my chest, their little noses pressed against my skin.
That's when I realized that a few people in the room where now missing
"W— where's Bella?" I asked.
"She's — She's at Malfoy Manor." Tom muttered annoyed.
I nodded, wondering what she was probably doing to those arseholes while they awaited our arrival.
"Wonderful. I will be there in five minutes. " I respond crisply.
"Sophie—I don't think that is the best idea." Tom stated, carefully.
"The hell it isn't! Those arseholes took my babies, interrupted our wedding ceremony, and tried to hurt us, Tom. I will not stand here as if everything is fine and dandy while you get to go down there and torture them! Now, either get out of my way or I will make you get out of my way." I threaten, clutching the twins closer as they whimpered at my raising voice.
"I don't want you getting hurt." He said, looking down at me.
"In case you haven't noticed, I have already been hurt. They attacked your sister in and left her for dead, killed one of the last remaining male Gaunt member, and kidnapped our children. I am done living in fear, so if you get in my way, so help me, I will hurt you." I said, breathing heavily, as I felt a foreign force stir within.
"Alright, if you're so inclined to going. Then we'll all go. Just promise me you won't get hurt." He murmured.
I stared up at him, a new wave of determination hitting me as I did.
With a sigh, I finally nodded in response. "Alright. I promise you that I won't get hurt." I replied.
A small smile appeared on his face as he nodded. "Great, then what do you say we complete the promise we made earlier?" He asked.
"I'd say that sounds like an excellent idea." I replied.
"Let's get a move on then." He replied as he lead me out the door.
