Doflamingo and his crew arrive to Minion Island to find the aftermath of Luffy and Drake's rebellion against Barrel, and learn of the girl's recent actions, while the new figures in the story also arrive to the island with their own intentions...

The Donquixote Family had just arrived at the area where the Barrels Pirates' hideout was, where they found most of the crew lying unconscious on the ground and the building half-destroyed.

Doflamingo looked over the wreckage with a furrowed brow, "Damn, did Roci seriously do all this? What did he do?!"

Then, he heard a man's voice shout, "DORY!" followed by more voices hollering, "Captain, wait!" "You're injured!" "You can hunt down Dory later! Let us treat you first!"

Soon, the captain of the Barrels Pirates, Diez Barrels, staggered out of the broken building. He walked with a severe limp, due to a seemingly broken leg, and had several bleeding scratches on his upper body and a few developing bruises on his face.

He bared his teeth, revealing a few to be missing, before shouting, "Damn you, Dory! I'm going to make you regret turning against me!"

Doflamingo raised a brow, thinking, "One of his men turned against him? Well, that's not unheard of, so it's not my problem. I just hope this makes getting the Op-Op fruit easier."

Then, Barrels shouted, "It was bad enough you mutinied to save the brat, but you stole the Op-Op fruit, too!? What the hell do you plan to do with it even?! Not like you can use it!"

Both of Doflamingo's brows shot up, "This Dory guy stole the Op-Op fruit? Now that's worth looking into!"

He reached his hand out towards Barrels and flexed his fingers, and soon, Barrels was forced to come to a halt. The pirate's brows rose, "My…my body! I can't move my body!"

A few of his crew members ran out of the building after him, one of them shouting, "Probably from your injuries! Let us fix you and let the rest hunt down Dory! We'll get the devil fruit back!"

"No! It's not my injuries! I seriously can't move!" Barrels shouted.

Doflamingo and his crew then approached the pirates, who soon took notice of them. One of them gasped and fell back, "D-D-Donquixote Doflamingo! What's he doing here?!"

Doflamingo stalked towards them, saying, "I'm here to reap a big reward…but from what I understand, you LOST that reward. Care to tell my what happened here?"

Barrels glared at him, "Why the hell should I tell you?!"

Doflamingo flexed his fingers, causing the strings he had restraining Barrels to wound around him and tighten up. Barrels let out a gasp from the sharp pain and looked over at the taller pirate.

Doflamingo didn't let up his severe stare as he asked, "You said someone named Dory stole the Op-Op fruit. What happened?"

Barrels flinched for a moment, before saying, "Dory's my son…a cowardly brat who possesses a power of an ancient Zoan devil fruit! He's been loyal to me all his life, but tonight because of some stupid bratty girl, he turned against me by beating me to near-death, stealing the fruit and running off with it and the girl!"

Doflamingo furrowed his brow, "Stupid bratty girl? She got a name, by any chance?"

Barrels hesitated for a minute, before saying, "Her name was Lucy…Lunie…Luffy! Her name was Luffy!"

Doflamingo nodded, "Alright, got it. A girl named Luffy made your son steal the devil fruit. How did that happen? What was she doing here?"

"She was supposed to be a ransom hostage!" Barrels shouted. "She was the granddaughter of a respected Marine, but she turned out to be more conniving than we thought! To think she manipulated my son of all people into siding with her! I want to kill that little bitch for it!"

Doflamingo smirked, "Is that so? I understand that anger. Someone in my family may have betrayed me too, and I REALLY want to kill him for it! He's supposed to be on this island."

Barrels forced a smile, "Then…I guess we have similar goals here! How about we look for them together, and I'll give you the Op-Op fruit as thanks!"

Doflamingo snickered, "Ufuffuffuffuf, a pretty decent offer…but I don't ally with men who can't even stand against their own sons!"

With another flex of his fingers, Doflamingo cut Barrels' body apart, and before his men could counterattack, his family shot them dead.

Trebol leaned down towards Doflaming, laughing, "Beh-heh-heh-heh! An ancient Zoan, eh? Maybe you should recruit him, Dofy!"

Doflamingo shrugged, "Maybe, but honestly, I'm more interested in the girl, Luffy. It sounds like she doesn't have a devil fruit power, so she may eat the Op-Op fruit. If I'm going to get immortality, I'll need her."

He turned his palm up and added, "And to make sure that nobody gets away…"

Strings shot up from his palm, forming a birdcage over the ghost town. There'd be no getting out for Luffy, Dory, Rocinante or Law, or getting in for the Marines, or anyone really.

Baby 5 held up her hand, "Young master! Buffalo and I can search for them from the skies!"

Doflamingo nodded, "Alright, get on that. We can't lose them!"

Before Buffalo had the chance to lay down on the ground for Baby 5 to climb on, the snail phone began to ring.

Giolla held out the receiver to Doflamingo, "It's Vergo."

Doflaming took it and spoke into it, "What is it, Vergo? Did you learn something?"

After a moment of silence, Vergo replied with a very weak tone, "Young master…Corazon has deceived us!"

Doflamingo gritted his teeth slightly, "Yeah, I figured that out. I saw Tsuru's ship hiding at Swallow Island, waiting for a chance to catch us."

"He can also speak, young master! He's been able to the whole time he'd been with us!" Vergo exclaimed. "But that's not all; he's allied himself with someone very dangerous!"

"You mean the Diez kid, Dory? Yeah, I heard about him," Doflamingo said. "Are you fighting him right now? You sound tired."

"No! I'm not talking about him, whoever he is!" Vergo shouted, taking Doflamingo by surprise. "There's this little girl…she knows Haki! And she's so fast and strong, like you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it! She's who I've been fighting!"

Doflamingo furrowed his brow, "Seriously? A little kid is giving you trouble? Where are you?"

Before Vergo had the chance to answer, Doflamingo heard Law's voice in the background holler, "Mes!", which was followed by Vergo letting out a shocked gasp.

"Do it, Luffy!" Law called out to someone, and immediately after, Doflamingo heard Vergo let out an agonized gurgling sound, followed by a loud thud of something hitting the ground.

"OH MY GOD!" an older man's voice shouted.

"Did she seriously crush it?!" a younger man's voice asked in a horrified tone.

Those were likely Corazon and the Diez kid. So Vergo was telling the truth about Corazon having a voice. Now, Doflamingo had yet to hear Luffy's voice.

He heard light footsteps approach Vergo's snail phone, which was followed by a slight rustle of it possibly being picked up. Doflamingo gritted his teeth before asking, "Hey, what's the big idea? I was talking to my subordinate when you rudely interrupted! Who the hell is this?"

"Luffy," a little girl's voice replied. Damn, she couldn't be older than 6 or 7 at least…

Doflamingo furrowed her brow, "Luffy…did you just kill Vergo? One of my most loyal family members?"

"Yep," the girl replied. "It was easy. If you don't believe me, I'll be in the courtyard with his body. Unless you rather I'd drag it to you."

Doflamingo ground his teeth before snarling, "I will hunt you down!"

After a moment of silence, Luffy said, "I knew you'd say that." And then hung up the snail phone.

Doflamingo practically slammed the receiver back onto the shell of his own phone, before looking back at Baby 5 and Buffalo. "Get up to the skies now! I want that girl, Luffy, found as soon as possible!"

The two young members flinched, "Y-Yes, young master!"

Once they were up in the air, Diamente looked down at Doflamingo and asked, "What'll we do when we find her, Dofy?"

Doflamingo furrowed his brow, "I'm not sure yet. Guess we'll find out…"

Dom, Beast and Arlo, along with a small handful of others, were standing on the outside of the bird cage, looking up at the string-made structure.

Arlo did a low whistle, "Doflamingo's fruit power is impressive. I never expected string to be used like this!"

Beast groaned, "Pity that this means getting to him will be a hell of a lot harder…"

One of the extra people they had with them, a teenager with long red hair tied into a ponytail, blue-gray eyes and some peach fuzz on his upper lips, withdrew a short sword and stepped up to the cage. He swung at the cage with all of his might, resulting in his sword being cut in half. "Dammit!" he shouted.

Dom rolled her eyes and leaned closer to the strings, examining them closely, before a grin developed on her face. She slipped off one of her gloves and flexed her fingers, where long metal blades slid out from underneath her fingernails. With a few swift motions, she sliced into the cage and cut most of the string away. Once there was an opening big enough for her, she chuckled, "A normal blade could never cut this…but a sea prism-infused one…"

Beast looked at Floyd and snapped, "You should know by now that normal blades don't work on any Logias and most Paramecias, Floyd!"

Floyd sighed, "I know, father, I know."

Another teenage boy, with red hair like Floyd, but was loose and off the shoulders, with long bangs that partially concealed his face, rolled his silver eyes, "You're such an idiot, Floyd."

"Shut up, Lloyd! Not like you could do anything to this cage with your rifle!"

"Do you want me to shoot you, jackass?!"

"Knock it off, brats!" Beast snarled, causing them both to flinch.

An adolescent boy, who had wild, curly black hair that had a white streak running through part of it, began snickering, his purple eyes seeming to glow brighter, "Hyehehehe! I can't wait to fight the pirates! Wait, we are helping fight the pirates, right, gramps?!"

Arlo nodded, "Yes, Nightshade, just don't get too crazy. Your grandmother wouldn't like it if you got hurt, and your father wouldn't like it if he met you while you were still a child."

Nightshade groaned, "Alright, old man! I'll be careful as can be..."

Dom looked down at three figures of varying heights and said, "Tread carefully, my dears. I'd be most devastated if I lost any of you."

The tallest figure was a teenage girl with a black pixie cut and bright green eyes, who smiled and said, "We'll be fine, Mom. I'll keep Evie and Mituna safe."

The middle figure, a 9-year-old girl with long black hair pulled back into a braid and golden-yellow eyes, huffed, "I don't need you to protect me, Arie."

The shortest figure, a 6-year-old girl who work a headscarf and an oversized backpack, looked up at Dom with her ruby-like eyes and asked, "Should I really be here, Mama?"

Dom smiled and patted the youngest on the head, "Oh, Mituna, you'll be fine. Just use your magic the way you were taught, and the pirates won't be a problem."

The small child nodded slowly, "Okay, Mama..."

The tall woman looked back at her male partners and said, "Let's move in."

The group walked into the birdcage, at a cautious but eager pace, in a slight hurry to claim their current pirate target.

Meanwhile, Doflamingo and his family had found the courtyard, thanks to Baby 5 and Buffalo's bird's eye view of the ghost town, where they were greeted by this sight:

Vergo was lying in the center of the yard, face down in the snow, with some blood splatter around his head. There was no doubt that he was dead, and Doflamingo's heart filled with more rage than before.

Standing a couple feet away was a little dark-haired girl wearing a light coat (a little too light for this sort of weather, in Doflamingo's opinion), medical bandages wrapped around her feet, likely acting as socks, and, oddest of all, sandals.

She was in the middle of wiping blood into a nearby pile of snow, where Giolla gasped, "She's…she's drawing a skull! She is a twisted child!"

Doflamingo looked at the snow the girl was rubbing her hands on, to see that she WAS painting an image of a skull into it. Was that intentional? Was she trying to freak him out or something? Pretty weak attempt, if you asked him.

The girl looked over upon hearing Giolla's voice, where she said, "Oh, you're here. That was fast." Doflamingo recognized her voice immediately. She was indeed Luffy, the one who killed Vergo.

Doflamingo nodded, "Yeah, I was very eager to find you, considering you killed one of my best men."

Luffy nodded, "That makes sense. I bet you're angry, huh?"

Doflamingo clenched his teeth as he glared at her, "I'm beyond angry, kid. I'm mad as hell. If you knew ANYTHING about me, you'd know that's something you DON'T want me to be!"

Luffy sighed, "Yeah, Cora tried to tell me that, but Vergo had to go. He was too dangerous, what with being a pirate pretending to be a Marine and all."

Doflamingo raised a brow, "Cora? Oh, you mean Corazon, my brother. I've heard he's been very dishonest with me lately. Care to tell me where he is? I thought he'd be with you."

Luffy furrowed her brow, "He, Law and Drake are somewhere you'll never find them. I'm not going to let you kill them or use them for your schemes. You won't be fighting any of them; only me."

Doflamingo furrowed his brows, "You really think you can take me in a fight?"

Luffy nodded, "Yep. Hopefully you'll put in more effort than your friend did."

Doflamingo bared his teeth and held up his hands, ready to flex his fingers. He could cut that girl up where she stood! Luffy began to take on a fighting stance, her eyes staring intensely at him, as if ready.

However, before the tall man could make a move, Trebol exclaimed, "Hey-hey-hey! Hold on a sec, Dofy!"

Doflamingo looked back at his slimy executive and snarled, "What?!"

"This girl killed Vergo!" Trebol stated.

"I can see that!"

"Yeah, I know you do, but don't you understand? This kid was stronger than Vergo!"

Doflamingo furrowed his brow and after a moment, lowered his hand, "What are you trying to get at with that?"

Trebol grinned and spoke softly, so Luffy couldn't hear, "She's like 5 or 6 years old, and she killed Vergo, who was supposed to be one of our strongest. If she's this strong now, imagine how she'll be as an adult!"

Diamente smirked, "Yeah, I see what Trebol means! If we brought this kid under our wing, we could use her to destroy our enemies! The Marines wouldn't stand a chance against us, let alone all the other pirates in the New World! And if we give her a powerful devil fruit, we'll be all set to take over EVERYTHING, including Dressrosa!"

Doflamingo's brows rose, and he glanced back at Luffy, who was still in fighting stance but was looking at him with a raised brow, head slightly tilted. His executives DID make a good argument. If he invited Luffy into his crew, she'd probably end up being his most powerful fighter! Strong enough to take on several powerful Marines, maybe those Admiral level. Maybe even a Warlord of the Sea! She'd be the perfect pawn!

The mere thought of this child killing in Doflamingo's name made him grin huge, and soon, his irritation over Vergo's death waned. It was a pity what happened to him, but when it came to piracy, it was survival of the fittest, and Vergo clearly wasn't fit enough to take on Luffy.

Doflamingo slowly walked towards Luffy, who still stared at him intensely, and when he stood about 2 meters from her, he got down on one knee and asked, "So, what's your deal, Luffy? You a kid with a desire for blood and destruction, but never had the chance to act on it? I may understand your struggle." Usually, it was this kind of sympathy that drew in recruits, especially children. It was how he got ahold of Law, after all.

Luffy frowned, "No, I didn't do all this to cause chaos; I did it because I knew the hell Vergo was going to cause in the future."

Doflamingo furrowed his brow, "You can see into the future? Is that a devil fruit power?"

Luffy shook her head, "No; let's just say I've seen it happen already, and now I have a chance to keep it from happening."

Doflamingo frowned. What did that mean? This kid was pretty confusing. He looked into her eyes to see how serious she was to see her eyes were as hardened as an adult, like she's seen a lifetime of horror and pain. Maybe she came from a corrupted country, like Mau Island where Avalo Pizarro used to rule?

Luffy then huffed, "I've seen the bad things you'd do in the future too."

Doflamingo smirked, "Oh, really, and you can stop me to prevent all of that?"

Luffy nodded, "Yeah. A new friend of mine told me so."

Doflamingo frowned, "Corazon?"

Luffy shook her head, "Not my recent new friends; a new friend that has to be kept secret. Though, even if I did tell you, you probably wouldn't believe me."

Doflamingo shrugged, "Probably…I'll level with you, Luffy; I don't think I want to fight with you."

Luffy raised a brow and relaxed her fighting stance, "You don't? Why?"

Doflamingo smirked, "I have a good eye for potential in youth, and I can tell you have a LOT. In fact, you remind me of myself as a kid; having a desire to change the world to suit your image, even if you have to commit extreme acts of violence to do so." He motioned at Vergo's body. "Such as…"

Luffy nodded, "Well, you're not wrong about that, really, but my motivations are different than yours."

Doflamingo frowned, "How so?"

Luffy looked him in the eyes and said, "I'd never hurt innocent people."

Doflamingo raised a brow, "Define 'innocent'?"

"People who've never done anything wrong at any point in their lives. People who live in peace without the stress inflicted on them by a corrupt ruler who manipulated his way to the throne…the Kingdom of Dressrosa for example."

Doflamingo's jaw dropped slightly. That was a pretty specific example to give. "How…how'd you know about Dressrosa? Did Roci tell you?" he questioned with a furrowed brow.

Luffy shook her head, "No, but I foresaw what you'd do to take it over, and I know the pain you'd cause for many people over the next 10 years. It was horrific, and I couldn't stand one second of it!"

She then narrowed her eyes, "I know everything about you, Donquixote Doflamingo; from when you were a Celestial Dragon to where you'll be 13 years from now! Or at least where you would be…"

Doflamingo's brows rose, and he glanced back at his subordinates, where he noticed they were now staring at him wide-eyed. He being a former Celestial Dragon wasn't exactly public knowledge or known to his own family except for Rocinante. How did Luffy know about that?

He looked back at the girl and said, "You do seem to know a lot about me…it's actually kind of creepy. How do you know all this? Where did you come from? Who raised you?"

Before Luffy had the chance to answer, Baby 5 suddenly called down, "Young master! Tsuru's on her way to the island, and she's been given another mission by Marine HQ."

"What's the mission?" he asked.

"To retrieve the granddaughter of Garp the Hero! She was supposed to have been taken hostage by the Barrels pirates!"

Doflamingo raised a brow. Garp the Hero? He looked back at Luffy and asked, "What's your full name, kid?"

Luffy looked Doflmingo in the eyes and said, "Monkey D Luffy."

Doflamingo shot up to both his feet and took a few steps away from Luffy. D...this kid had that cursed letter in her name?! Suddenly, her strength made sense...

Luffy tilted her head, "What's the matter, Doflamingo?" Then, her mouth shifted into an almost demonic grin, "You scared I'm going to gobble you up?"

Doflamingo clenched his teeth. There was NO WAY in HELL he'd recruit this kid!

He raised one of his hands, ready to inflict his strings on her, while Trebol called out, "Wait, Dofy!"

I think I made Luffy come off a bit creepy close to the end...which probably isn't bad because she scared Doflamingo of all people.

And just for the record, I came up with the character Dom before Lady Dimetrescu was a thing! But her character did influence Dom's to an extent.

So Luffy and Doflamingo are going to have their fight 13 years early, all the while Arlo, Beast and Dom's hunter group (one or two of them who are probably too young to even be there) start to make their way in the birdcage.

And Tsuru is on her way to Minion Island now.

What could come from these situations?
