"And that's why we don't let Knuckles use the microwave." Sonic says as he finishes a story.
He was talking with Neptune, Uzume, and Histoire in the Basilicom's living room while Neptune plays something on her Switch.
"Years later we still can't get the smell of burnt grapes out of Amy's kitchen." says Nira as she adds on to it.
"I get the feeling this isn't the only story you have of Knucksy doing something like that." Uzume says, sounding a little concerned.
Nepgear then enters the room, N-Gear in hand, with some news for everyone.
"Alright everyone, Lastation Satellite Data is in. The entire planet has been affected by this world merger and the planetary fusion goes all the way down to the planet's core." she says, before continuing.
"Most of the borders between parts of Gamindustri and parts of the other worlds are along the known tectonic plates' borders, but I got in touch with Kei and we're mapping out everything now."
Then B-Sha enters with her own report. "The other oracles are also reporting an overall spike in share energy across all 4 nations, and the PC and Hello Continents. Y'know, in addition to all of the panic, confusion, and displaced character's who can't find their homes" she says before Nepgear continues further.
"And on top of it all, the final results are in on the merger's energy shadow. There's no way to undo the reality shift without risking…y'know…tearing apart the very fabric of existence."
"Alright, I'll let them know, talk to you later." a girl in a large blue jacket says as she enters the room while hanging up her phone.
IF then turns to address the group. "That was Mina just now, apparently Bowser was able to K.O. Blanc in all the madness in Lowee and kidnap her. All the guild agents are still busy trying to round everyone up so we need someone to head out there and rescue her."
Neptune then jumps up and says "Sounds like a job for the protagonist of protagonists!"
"Now hold on a moment Neptune." Histoire interjects.
"Nepgear still has to map out the altered terrain, and you're still quite far behind on your work. I'll handle the paperwork if you go out and help with quests in the city. Sonic, Nira, and Uzume can go get Blanc."
"AWWW But Histy, that means I barely get any screen time in this story." Neptune says, clearly disappointed.
"Some of the quests are in Kamurocho." IF butts in trying to convince Neptune to do her job.
"ALRIGHT I'M IN!" Neptune shouts as she runs to IF's side before turning to face the camera.
"But I better get some more to do next time, ya hear me buster?!" she says to the narrator.
"Don't worry Neptune, I'm already working on it." And Neptune and IF leave the room.
Sonic, Nira, and Uzume all look at each other "Welp, looks like it's just the three of us." Sonic says as they get up from the table and head to the nearby elevator.
"Good luck guys, we should have everything sorted out here by the time you get back!" Nepgear calls out before returning to her lab.
Histoire heads out to the balcony and looks over the new Gamindustri for a short while before saying.
"I should've known our talk about just this kind of thing happening last night would be jinxing it. Still, I suppose the extra share energy from our new guests is nice. Still though, just how did this happen?"
Meanwhile in Lowee we see a man in a cloak rummaging through a box in an attic until they find a hairbrush. They examine it and find it has a few strands of white hair. They then exit through an open window and out into the nearby woods.
"Hey, I got the hair." The cultist speaks into a walkie-talkie. "You got the other stuff?"
"Yup, we found one. It's far down south on the coast, take the warp pipes and you should get here by the time the others get back from the graveyard." says the guy on the other side.
"Will do." says the cloaked man before hanging up and jumping down a nearby warp pipe.
OOOOHHHH! A mystery! Just what is this cult up to?
That's a question for another day though, because it looks like Blanc is in danger. But if you know her, chances are Bowser will be the one in need of saving by the time this is all over.
