"Lord Zeus master bolt?!"
"His symbol of power!"
"How can someone even steal from a god?"
"Who would even dare do such a thing?"
"Oh my gods. Is war going to happen?!"
"Damn. I guess Olympus security is shitty."
Everyone was panicking and screaming. Natalie then had enough and screamed really loudly.
"ENOUGH! This is why we are here. To explain the future and prevent bad things from happening! And how will we do that if everyone is yelling and screaming? So everyone stop yelling and sit down and Listen!" She was panting slightly at the end of her mini rant. Ivan looked at her.
"You alright?" he asked softly. Natalie took a deep breath "yeah, I'm fine." she answered.
Natalie looked at the now quiet half bloods. "Now everyone please listen and you will soon understand what is going on. Ivan, please continue."
Ivan cleared his throat. "So as I was saying Lord Zeus's master bolt was stolen. And that is why the weather is the way it is. From what I was told the master bolt was actually stolen during the winter solstice."
"Lord Zeus was of course furious. And sent a few gods to look for it. They didn't find it. And well Zeus declared Poseidon as the culprit."
Half of the campers looked towards the Poseidon table. Percy was looking straight at the future trio, not paying anyone any mind.
Ivan continued "Of course The god of the Sea was not happy about being accused of theft."
Natalie continued. "Lord Zeus demanded his bolt be returned by the summer solstice. That is actually coming up quite soon for you guys. And if I recall correctly Poseidon wanted an apology by the same time."
"That is so soon. What if it's not found" Miranda Gardiner asked
Ivan looked at her. "If the bolt is not found? Well, let's just say world war three will break out. A war between the Gods."
The campers started muttering and talking amongst themselves. A war among the Gods? This…this was one of the worst things that could happen.
Percy was having a bad feeling. He had a feeling that he would be in the middle of this whole mess. With Poseidon as his father and all.
Luke was trying to remain completely poker faced. He had a feeling that he would be exposed in these story tellings.
Ryan spoke up, "Quiet! Now I'll continue. Now since Zeus was blaming Poseidon and everything else that was happening the weather is reflecting their moods."
Natalie took over. "Now you have to know this first. A god can not steal another god's symbol of power. It is again some ancient rule or something like that. But a mortal can do it for a god."
Ivan then spoke "And if you guys didn't know yet Poseidon does have a mortal son." Now everyone was now looking towards the Poseidon table. "Since Poseidon claimed his son. Zeus believed that Poseidon's son was the one who stole his bolt."
Everyone was staring at Percy now. Of course Percy noticed people staring. And one thing about him is that he hated people accusing him for things he didn't do. He looked at the campers and gave them a glare which had a lot of them look away. He then turned towards the trio. "I didn't steal anything! I didn't even know my father was Poseidon until yesterday." he said
Natalie stared at Percy in surprise "...Oh my Gods! Guys look, it's Percy! He looks so tiny!"
Ivan and Ryan both stared at Percy. Ryan approached him "yeah. He looks way different than how he does in the future." he said.
"He's short, scrawny and he looks way younger" he added
"Of course he does you idiot. He's about twelve at this time and has only been at camp for a few days or so." Ivan responded
Percy was looking at them in confusion and asked "Do you guys know me in the future? And am I really that different?"
"Yup. You are pretty famous in the future and pretty much everyone knows you. And yes you look way different." Natalie said in response.
The campers were looking on in wonder and confusion and had lots of questions. How is Percy famous? being the main one.
Clarisse looked at the trio with a mean look on her face. "How is this punk famous?"
The trio walked back to where they were before. "Oh you'll understand. Everyone in the future knows Percy Jackson. He is incredibly popular. And he is one of the main reasons the world is still standing in the future." Natalie said while waving her arms around.
"Him and Annabeth Chase. Those two are known as two- time heroes of Olympus and are one of the most powerful and well known demigods of their time. They are literally living legends!" Ryan exclaimed in an excited tone
Ivan was also nodding along with the other two.
Everyone was looking at the two in shock. One of the most Powerful demigods of their time? Legends? How did that even happen?
Percy was looking at the trio wide eyed. Him? Powerful? Famous? How? He didn't expect that. At all. Living with Gabe didn't help with him verbally abusing him anytime he got. And also with teachers at school telling him that he'll never be anything great and just belittling him at all times. To hear this was a…was a shock.
Annabeth on the other hand was looking at the trio in slight shock but with a slight smile on her face and sparking eyes. If what these kids say is true then she got a quest. It only makes sense. She can finally prove herself. She was Powerful. She was known as a Two-Time Hero of Olympus!
Luke was feeling a mixture of pride for Annabeth. But also he was feeling…anxious, angry, and was full dread. He had a small feeling nothing went to plan. But he still hoped that this could be resolved. Maybe he could learn from this. Learn what not to do and what to do in order to succeed. For Thalia. For Annabeth. For all the other half bloods that were ignored by their parents. Left to die while their parents sat on their thrones and did nothing.
"How did they become famous? And what do you mean two-time heroes of Olympus?" Conner Stoll asked
Ryan looked at all the half bloods. "In order to know that you first must know what happened in your time that led up to future events in our time. So we got distracted but we will continue. This time we'll try not to get distracted."
Now where were we…Oh right! So after Zeus accused Percy of being the thief, Chiron gave Percy a quest to find the master bolt." Ivan started. "And a quest must be made up of three people."
Natalie looked at Ivan strangely. "If quests must always be made of 3 then why, If I recall correctly the quest to save Lady Artemis had five people? And the seven's quest had seven people?"
The quest to save Lady Artemis? Now the Campers really wanted to know what happened in the future.
"The quest to save Artemis and the seven's quest are special cases. The seven's quest literally required seven people or it wouldn't work out. Now let Ivan continue" Ryan told Natalie and turned back to Ivan.
"Percy for his first quest picked Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood as his companions." Ivan started.
At the Athena table Annabeth had a smile on her face. A quest! She finally got a quest! Even if it was with the son of her mother's rival. She turned to look at Luke. But her smile dropped a little when he didn't look back at her. Luke had been acting a bit weird ever since the future trio came to camp. He looked angry and worried. Annabeth wanted to ask him what was wrong but held back. She would do so after the trio were done.
Grover looked at Percy from where he was sitting and smiled. Percy smiled back.
Now neither of us three know the exact details of the quest but we do know the big stuff that happened." Natalie said. "We do know that the questing trio faced Medusa the Gorgon." The Campers were wide eyed. Medusa? They beat the Medusa? Grover, Annabeth, and Percy had their mouths open in shock. Medusa? How did they beat her?
Natalie continued on. "Percy ended up slicing Medusa's head right off her neck and if the rumors at camp are true, he shipped the head to Olympus." Now the campers were looking at Percy in shock and slight horror. Did he have a death wish!? Some other campers such as the Stoll brothers were laughing. But even then they knew how dangerous that was.
Annabeth looked at Percy. What was wrong with him? It's like he wanted to get smited!
Percy could very much see this happening. But he still knew that it was not a well thought out action and could end up bad for him. Though he still thought what he did was cool.
"Ok stop looking at Percy. Everything turned out fine. Now the next thing that happened on the quest was the Echidna fight." Ivan said. "According to the news Percy had to jump off the Saint Louis arch."
Percy was very surprised "I jumped off the arch? And survived?" he asked Ivan. "Yeah. you fell in the Mississippi River, so you were fine." Ivan told him.
While Percy thought about what other abilities he had, Ryan took over. "Now after that Echidna business…hey guys what happened after?"
Natalie answered him. "I don't know. You two are the ones who know more about the details of the quest than I do!" The trio then looked between one another and tried to figure out what happened next.
Ryan started again "Well…Percy was labeled a terrorist. And was the subject of a whole nationwide manhunt."
"What!?" Percy yelled in disbelief. What did he do to be labeled a terrorist? He knew he was a troubled kid and had already been expelled by six different schools but a terrorist? And how was he supposed to do his quest and find his mother and Zeus's stupid bolt if he was the subject of a manhunt!? "What happened that led to that?"
Annabeth and Grover had about the same line of thought. But more in how they will do their quest with the mortals on their tails.
"I guess we forgot about this…but since your mother was…taken people, or the mortals actually suspected that you took her and also the fact that the Louis arch was on fire when you jumped out" Natalie replied
Ivan and Ryan looked at her. "What!?" she said. "How did you know that anyways?"
"It was on the news" Natalie replied "And i did live in the mortal world before coming to camp ya know?"
They both nodded and accepted her answer before continuing. "Now I don't know the exact details after the arch business but we do know the questing trio did a mini quest for Ares and later made it to the underworld. They found out what happened to the bolt"
The campers were listening intently, wanting to know what happened.
Ivan started talking again, "They confronted Lord Hades but it turns out he didn't have the bolt and the trio had the bolt the entire time."
Annabeth stood up "Wait, what? How did we have the bolt the entire time?" She turned towards Percy and glanced at him suspiciously. Percy noticed of course and glared back at her. "I didn't steal the stupid bolt and I don't know where it is." he told her.
"I-
"Oh yeah I forgot. But Percy, Annabeth, and Grover were given a backpack by Ares sometime between the Echidna business and them arriving in the underworld." Ivan interrupted. "What does that have to do with us having the bolt the entire time though?" Grover asked
"When you got to the underworld it was revealed that the bolt was in your pack. And also that Lord Hades' helm was also stolen."
And once again the campers exploded. Again.
"What!?"
"Two symbols of powers stolen!?"
"This thief is bold"
"More like this thief is stupid"
"When I catch this prick I swear…"
A sudden loud clap rang out stopping all conversation. Everyone looked at Chiron. "Now children listen to the three. I'm sure that if we let them continue they can explain what happened. Now please stop interrupting and let them speak." He said firmly. The future trio nodded at him in thanks.
"Now Percy's mother was in, or actually is in the underworld at this point." Ivan said. Percy perked up at the mention of his mother. "And the questing trio was able to make it out of the underworld while leaving Percy's mother." Percy looked ready to cry. He just left his mom? Grover squeezed his hand in comfort.
Natalie seeing Percy's anguished face hastily spoke "Wait! she doesn't stay in the underworld for long. We met your mother, she is an amazing woman" Percy noticeably calmed down after what she said.
Right. After the trio got out of the underworld. They were confronted by Ares. Ares had Lord Hades helm of and he admitted to helping in the hiding of the bolt in the backpack. Reason being is that he wanted to start a war among the Gods."
The Ares campers were looking at the future trio with wide eyes. Their father did this? Clarisse's lips were pursed in a thin line but her face was otherwise stoic. Percy was not happy. So this God just did all of this to start a war? And he had to get mixed up in the middle of this?
"Percy then challenged Ares to a fight." Everyone stared at Percy in disbelief. "And Percy won" Now almost everyone's jaw was open. But pretty much everyone's eyes were wide open in shock.
Luke looked at Percy in both shock and curiosity and slight interest. This kid was Powerful. Kronos would be pleased if he got him to switch sides.
"There is NO way this skinny little punk beat my father in a fight!" Clarisse yelled. The Ares campers nodded along with what she said.
Ryan turned toward her "Well he did. And it is one of Percy's biggest feats."
"After Percy beat Ares. He returned Hades' symbol of power and the trio returned to New York by plane. He sent his companions ahead so he could deliver Zeus's bolt." Ivan told the Campers.
After Percy returned to camp the camp celebrated the trio's return and the quest's success. Days went by and everything seemed fine. Until the day came when a few campers found Percy in a terrible shape. He was sickly and green looking and was being dragged to Chiron by dryads." The campers were looking at Percy again wondering what was going on now? The quest was over what could possibly happen now? "He had been poisoned." Percy froze. Poisoned? Why? How? Grover, Annabeth, Chiron, and a few other campers looked at Percy in worry. Why had he been poisoned? Grover squeezed Percy's shoulder.
Luke prepared himself for what was going to be said. Some of his friends and siblings wouldn't be happy but he hoped they would understand why he did it.
"Percy was unconscious. But when he woke up he revealed the identity of the lightning thief." The Campers held their breath. "The person who stole both symbols of power was also the one who poisoned Percy. The thief was Luke Castellan, son of Hermes."
I really forgot about these author notes stuff. But anyways this is my first story and I'm just adding stuff as I go. I loved the characters travel to the past and tell the past people what happened idea. So I decided to write my own. Enjoy!
