bigvic150: I know.

Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers Prime. I only own the OC George Edwards/Bladewolf.

A couple of Mega-Cycles passed after the Scraplet infestation, as well as mine, Arcee and Optimus' trip to the Arctic. Ratchet has been doing system checkup on the Groundbridge, seeing as the Scraplets had gotten into it and the bridge had been quite wonky every time we used it to get to somewhere. Right now, I was exiting the SAFE after doing some training with my weapons and abilities, namely in my human form, and ran into Cliffjumper on my way out.

"Hey Cliff." I greeted.

"Hey little man." He greeted me while scooping me up in his servo, causing me to give him an annoyed look. "If you changed, you'd walk faster and I wouldn't need to walk as slow as a turtle."

"Lazy ass..." I grumbled in Cybertronian as Cliffjumper shifted me to his shoulder while we entered the main ops center where everyone else was.

Just then, Ratchet said. "Optimus I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band. It appears to be coming from a starship inside this solar system." After typing some more, a Autobot insignia appeared on the screen and blinked. "It's an Autobot identification beacon."

"So, there are other Autobots out there?" Jack asked as he and Raf stood on the catwalk directly in front of Ratchet's workstation.

"The masses scattered to the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark, but the 'Cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons." I said, causing Arcee to shoot me a look.

"You know I was about to say that, didn't you?" She asked with slight annoyance.

"Foreknowledge." I said with a smirk, causing Cliffjumper to chuckle while she shook her helm with a small smile.

"Unknown vessel, this is Autobot Outpost Omega-One. Identify yourself." Optimus said in a no-nonsense tone.

It didn't take long to receive a reply. "I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticon combat brigades."

"Wheeljack?!" Bulkhead said in shock before laughing as he came forward, nearly sending Miko off his shoulder, and causing Arcee and Bumblebee to move out the way. "You old 'Con crusher! What are you doing all the way out here?"

"Bulkhead? That you? What's with all the security?" Wheeljack asked, surprised but glad to hear his old friend as well.

The rock we're on is crawling with 'Cons." Bulkhead reported. "How soon can you get here and even the odds?"

"Sometime tomorrow, if I put the metal to the pedal." Wheeljack replied. He said, before he was cut out.

"Wheeljack, I only know him from reputation. Bulkhead can you verify his voice imprint?" Optimus asked the former wrecker.

"He's 1000% the real deal Optimus." Bulkhead assured, which was all Optimus needed as he nodded and addressed Wheeljack.

"We're sending landing co-ordinates now, have a safe journey." He said.

"See you soon buddy, I promise to give you a proper welcome." Bulk added and the channel ended there.

"So, who's the boyfriend?" Arcee asked jokingly, making me snort in amusement.

"Oh. Me and Jackie go way back." Bulkhead laughed.

"You and Wheeljack were part of the Wreckers, weren't ya?" I asked knowingly.

"Glad you did you're well informed, George, besides the 'Cons are gonna wish he never found us." He said slamming big green fist into his palm.

Unfortunately, Wheeljack was not going to have a proper welcome to Earth given the Decepticons already know of his coming thanks to Soundwave...

So before Wheeljack's arrival, I decided to take a flight, just to stretch my wings since I've barely done any flights for myself due to getting used to the idea of flying this way. I will say this, the reactions on Jack, Miko and Raf's faces when they saw me transform into a Cybertronian version of the Tumbler from Batman Begins was something to remember.

And then Miko wanted a ride so I humoured the kids by giving them a drive around town. I once saw a YouTube video where someone drove around in the actual Tumbler from the movie, for real. So hopefully people spot me and pas sit off as someone owning the prop from the movie set or something.

As I flew, I did a few tilt-a-whirls, just for the thrill of it. I did a spin in the air when I was contacted by Arcee. "Hey partner, Wheeljack's ship is approaching the landing zone in Egypt. Want to meet us there?"

"On my way." I said and cut the chatter there. Using my in-built radar system, I found Egypt and turned to go in the direction of the desert land when a shadow darkned my form.

It was the Nemesis...

"Oh no." I said, remembering the last time I was on that ship. However, this caused an idea to form. One I hadn't thought of to be honest. Wheeljack will be getting captured right now and brought onto the ship... I could get on it, hopefully without alerting all Decepticons on it, and rescue Wheeljack, contact base and get back earlier than intended.

Sounds crazy, but I'm pretty sure it can work.

So, I boosted towards the Nemesis and made a slow landing on the bridge of the ship, transforming and searching for any Decepticon troops but found none thankfully. Standing up, I quickly ran into the ship and came across the long corridors and hallways of the Nemesis' interior.

"Trypticon, you couldn't have made a better interior?" I muttered to myself and moved to start my search for Wheeljack. I'd have to search every room I come across, or look for the brig where I was kept in the last time I was here.

As I walked, I heard pedesteps and quickly hid in an alcove before I could be spotted and my optics narrowed when I saw Starscream and Soundwave passing.

"The moment Makeshift passed through that Groundbridge, we lost his tracking signal." Starscream was saying before he sighed in frustration. "The Autobot base is no doubt heavily shielded to prevent us from locating it."

As they walked, I followed them via the ventilation system which was big enough for me thankfully. They were going to a door and I knew that had to be where Wheeljack was being held prisoner.

"Ah, no matter." Starscream continued with a chuckle. "I have complete faith in Makeshift." The doors opened to reveal Wheeljack inside, held up by Cybertronian cuffs. "Our inside man is already inside."

Wheeljack raised his helm to glare at the current leader of the Decepticons. "Tell Megatron he's fragged in the helm if he thinks Bulkhead won't sniff out an imposter."

Starscream gave a grunt of annoyance as he approached. "Haven't you heard? I lead the Decepticons now."

'You couldn't lead a parade, Starscream.' I thought with a roll of my optics.

"You? Ha!" Wheeljack scoffed.

This angered Starscream who reared back to slash Wheeljack with his claws but Soundwave grabbed his arm silently, causing the seeker to give Soundwave a glare before he reluctantly growled and jerked his arm out of Soundwave's grip.

"Yes! Yes, he may yet be of some use." Starscream admitted reluctantly before turning to Wheeljack. "Makeshift is very good at keeping up appearances. He need only fool your friends long enough to open their Groundbridge from within so that I may finally learn the location of the Autobot base and send in my strike team to stain its floor with the spilled Energon of Optimus Prime."

With that, Starscream and Soundwave left, before which Starscream assigned a Vehicon to stand guard over Wheeljack. A few klicks passed before Wheeljack grunted while trying to break free, gaining the attention of the Vehicon who marched over and grabbed Wheeljack by the faceplate.

"You're not going anywhere, Autobot." The Vehicon grabbed.

At that moment, I dropped down right behind the Vehicon and tapped him, causing him to turn only to get a sword through the faceplate which I then ripped out and sheathed as the corpse fell to the floor.

"Was about to break out myself, but the help is appreciated." Wheeljack said with a hint of surprise at my sudden appearance before he spotted the Autobot insignia on me. "You part of Bulk's team?"

"Yeah. Was going to meet up with them to meet with you, but then the Nemesis appeared where I was so I decided to come and recue you." I said as I deployed a Fusion Cannon and blasted Wheeljack's restraints, letting him down.

"How did you know the 'Cons had me?" Wheeljack asked as he stood.

"Let's just say I know the future." I said and chuckled at his look before shaking my helm. "I'll tell you when we aren't at risk of being heard by Soundwave. Shall we get moving?"

Wheeljack smirked and nodded. "Need to grab my weapons first."

Once Wheeljack grabbed his weapons from a room next door, we began our mission to get off the ship. However, we were on a warship filled with Decepticons. As Wheeljack and I slowly made out way down the corridors of the warship, the Wrecker turned to me.

"So, what's your name, kid?" He asked.

"Bladewolf."

"Alright, Bladewolf, you're gonna learn what it's like to run with a Wrecker like me." Wheeljack said with his usual cocky smirk.

I chuckled. "I've been on a team with Bulkhead for the past few months, I think I know what it's like. Smash everything and cause explosions."

"Now you're speaking my language." Wheeljack chuckled.

Somehow, we made it to the bridge without being spotted by any Decepticon and found Starscream, Soundwave and Starscream's strike team waiting for Makeshift to open the Groundbridge to the Autobot base.

"Are you certain we are at the coordinates you supplied to Makeshift?" Starscream angrily asked Soundwave, who silently nodded in response. "Then, what is taking him?"

"Maybe they gave your boy such a hero's welcome." Wheeljack said, announcing our presence as we approached. "He got the warm and fuzzies and decides to switch sides."

We activated our battle masks. Funny thing about mine, is that I had a facemask like Optimus' and a visor that slid down over my eyes and connected with the facemask to complete my battle mask.

Starscream growled as he eyed us. "Do you both not see that you are vastly outnumbered?"

I growled as I remembered very well the torture done to me by Starscream. "We see fellow who might greatly enjoy watching me rip out your optics." I said with a dark tone.

Starscream's optics widened in fright before he shouted. "Destroy them!"

The Decepticons deployed their weapons and fired at us while Wheeljack and I unsheathed our weapons and let out battle cries as we engaged the Decepticons. I leaped and dropped into a circle of five, stabbed oe through the Spark chamber, used him as a shield when another fired at him before throwing the corpse into that Vehicon. I then spun and decapitated another Vehicon, leaned back Matrix-style to avoid being shot and threw my katana right into the helm of another Vehicon. with my free arm, I deployed a Path Blaster and shot the other two Vehicons down.

I spotted Starscream aiming a misstile at me and charged him, sidestepped the missile which hit a group of Vehicons behind me, and tackled Starscream, rolled over and threw him into another group of vehicons who went down like bowling pins. As Wheeljack and I went back to back, offlining more Decepticons, a Groundbridge opened up.

"Well, well." Wheeljack smirked before looking at me. "Let's go!"

We ran for the Groundbridge and jumped into the vortex, running through in time to hear Makeshift say "Let's get this party started!"

"I don't think so." I announced and dropkicked him from behind, causing him to release Miko who flew through the air but Bulkhead caught her.

"Bladewolf?" Arcee asked in surprise at seeing me with the real Wheeljack. "How did you-"

"Long story." I answered.

"And I'd shut that hole before the stink comes through." Wheeljack advised. Ratchet took it and closed down the bridge while Makeshift and Wheeljack faced each other, unsheathing their weapons as everyone else, including me, stayed back. Bulkhead slammed his fists together when Wheeljack held a blade in front of him. "Ugly's mine."

And like that, the fight between Wheeljack and Makeshift started. As the two fought everyone was watching the Wrecker and the pretender clash with swords, creating sparks all over the place.

"Which one is the real Wheeljack?" Raf said adjusting his glasses.

"Uh-uh...I lost track!" Miko said.

A second later, Wheeljack then came out on top knocking him unconscious for the second time. You hit the switch. It's time to take out the trash." He said to the CMO before motioning towards Bulk. All yours buddy."

"Hold on a sec." I said as I generated a Det-pack in my hands and placed it on the grenade that would go off. "All good." I said giving the thumbs up. Bulkhead then picked up Makeshift's body and then lobbed it out the other end of the ground bridge before it closed.

"Nice lob." Wheeljack said, Bulkhead smiled in response and then Wheeljack looked at me. "What did you put on the grenade anyway?"

"A simple Nucleon Det-pack." I smirked, and then he smirked back.

"I like the way you think." He replied.

Arcee came up and slapped the back of my helm. "And just where were you?" She asked sternly, servos on her hips.

"Um... on the Nemesis." I said with a wince as she glared at me furiously.

"WHERE?!"

Oh boy, I was in for it now.

After getting the scolding of a lifetime for Arcee for doing such a reckless move in boarding the nemesis, though I think she was more worried than angry given what happened to me the last time I was on the Decepticon warship. Once Ratchet deactivated the ground bridge he commed Optimus and told the Prime what happened. Optimus returned to base about ten klicks after Ratchet commed him. He and I began the long process of informing Wheeljack that I wasn't originally from this reality.

He took the news like a champ.

He was pretty cool to hang out with, and between Bulkhead and him, they had enough war stories to satisfy even Miko's curiosity. So it was slightly disappointing to learn that Wheeljack planned to leave as soon as he fixed some damage the cons did to his ship. I found that out about a breem ago.

Right now I was in my quarters reattaching the first and second layers of my chestplate armor after I cleaned off the explosive residue from the missile. Miko insisted we give Wheeljack a going-away party, which was a little strange considering he just got here.

I stood by with Arcee, shaking my helm in amusement as she did at the sight of Jack, Raf, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee dancing to Miko's music.

"Never a dull day here." I commented.

"Nope." She agreed before shooting me a look. "We're still going to have a long talk about you and your recklessness. Foreknowledge or not, you shouldn't have boarded the Nemesis. Do you know how worried I was when I tried contacting you only to get no response?"

I looked away at hearing the tone in her voice, a tone of worry. Arcee did care for me a lot, that much I knew. And it hurt my Spark that I worried her and made her feel like that.

"I'm sorry." I apologized and placed a servo on her shoulder. "I promise not to do a stunt like that again, unless it's necessary."

She sighed but nodded. "I suppose I can take what I get." She sent me a small smile, "Just... be careful, okay?"

"I'm always careful." I scoffed.

"That time in the Amazon would make me beg to differ." Arcee retorted.

"Come on, I didn't see that sniper because of the trees!"

"No excuse."

"You just love pointing out my bad moments, don't you?" I sighed.

"Yep." Arcee smirked. Her smile fell and she looked at me. "I mean it, though. Be careful." She placed her servo on my arm and I felt my Spark skip a beat as she smiled softly at me. After five seconds, she then released my arm, "Well, I'm going to get some recharge before I need to take Jack back home tonight. Talk to you later?"

"Yeah, I need to get some recharge myself." I said, trying to shake off that feeling that came when she smiled at me and placed her servo on my arm. "But in case I'm out longer, goodnight 'Cee."

"Goodnight Wolf." With one last soft smile at me, the femme walked off in the direction of her quarters. Once she was out of sigh, I sighed and walked off to be alone with my thoughts about what just happened.

"The name of Primus was that?" I muttered to myself. I've never felt like... this around Arcee before. My Spark had never fluttered before when she laughed, smiled or touched me. But lately... I have been feeling different around her. It was a... good different, I hope. it felt like two sides of me were trying to make me understand what was going on while the other was trying to pass it off as nonsense.

'Maybe I need more recharge than I thought.' I thought to myself.

'That's a weak excuse and you know it. Your Spark fluttered when she smiles at you. Admit it, you've always found her attractive even before you came here.' The logic side of me argued.

I rubbed the sides of my helm to soothe the ache I was getting in my processer from arguing with myself mentally. But I had to admit, I did always find Arcee attractive, even before I came to this dimension. But that was namely just a fanboy thing. Like how young boys can find Nicole Kidman attractive from watching Batman Forever, or with superheroine likes Wonder Woman, She-Hulk, Black Widow, it was simple fanboy crushes gained from childhood that we eventually grow out of.

But lately, I've started to see Arcee differently. Attractive. Like when seeing a pretty girl in high school and being almost awestruck by her. Arcee was... if I'm honest, drop dead gorgeous. Everything down to her faceplate, her pedes, her backplates and her...

I Gibbs slapped myself in the back of the helm. 'Get your CPU out of the gutter!' I scolded myself. I had never been one to ogle or let my thoughts run wild as a human, and I wasn't going to start doing that as a Cybertronian. I respected Arcee way too much to do that.

Oh God and Primus, I had feelings for Arcee...

And that's it for this chapter. Our boy's in a spot of trouble with himself... namely realizing he's got the hots for Arcee.
