So I've went back and made a little change to my OC. Instead of him looking like Steeljaw, I've went and made him a cross between Barricade from Transformers Universe (Go on google images and type that in, should be the first or second one labelled Transformers (WFC) but it's not actually what helooked like in that game) and Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction, but with a jet black colour and blue optics.
I've also changed his ground-based vehicle mode from a Cybertronian version of the Tumbler to a black 2022 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
Hope nobody's bothered by this.
Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers Prime. I only own the OC George Edwards/Bladewolf.
Three Mega-Cycles have passed since the incident with Wheeljack and Makeshift, as well as Wheeljack's departure from Earth. Nothing much has happened since them outside of the patrols of Jasper, for Energon in different locations around the globe, and encounters with Decepticon troopers. It occurred to me that it was nearly five months since I had arrived in this dimension after my... death. It had been January when I arrived, and now it was the middle of June.
Time sure flies wen you're training to fight alongside giant, sentient alien robots against other alien robots.
Anyway, I was in the ops center with everyone else, talking to Cliffjumper. The good atmosphere was then ruined when we got an incoming call, one that Ratchet answered.
"PRIME!"
It was Agent Fowler. I glanced to one of the corridors as Optimus and Arcee walked in from it.
"PRIME!"
"Special Agent Fowler, to what do we owe-" Optimus started but Fowler cut him off.
"What else? 'Cons! I chased them off with some hard ordinance! But not before they blew me out of the sky!"
"Again?" Miko giggled.
"Maybe the military should stop lending Fowler their aircraft since he keeps getting them badly damaged or destroyed." Cliffjumper added with a smirk. "That's a lot of money to get a new one."
Fowler shot the two a glare. "It's not funny!" He redirected is attention back to Optimus. "They tried to smash and grab for the DNGS!"
Arcee, who came to stand beside me, cocked an optic ridge and glanced at me. "The whatsit?"
"Dynamic Nuclear Generation System, aka DNGS." I answered, knowing she was asking me due to the fact I had foreknowledge. Now I remember, this was the 'Convoy' episode. Which means... MECH.
Fowler nodded and pressed a button that brought up a view of a metal crate, held down with several straps and ties. "It's a prototype energy source I'm porting to the coast for testing."
This made Ratchet scoff. "That's absurd. Why would Starscream bother with such primitive technology?" He asked.
"I'm guessing to make a big bad primitive weapon of mass destruction." Fowler countered before explaining the seriousness of the situation. "If this baby were to melt down, it would irradiate this state and the one next door!"
"Uh… did Agent Fowler say what state he was currently in?" Raf suddenly asked nervously.
"I'm a sitting duck here, Prime." Fowler stated, getting back on topic. "I need you to spin up a bridge and send the DNGS through to its destination before the Cons come back for it!"
"I'm afraid that sending such a volatile device through a Groundbridge is out of the question." Optimus said before explaining why. "If there were to be an accident during its transmission, the radiation of which you speak could propagate through the Groundbridge vortex… and harm ALL 50 states and beyond." This news horrified the humans.
"You got any better ideas?" Fowler asked with a hint of desperation in his voice.
I stepped forward. "I do." All attention was on me now. "We transport the device to it's destination. That way we can ensure it isn't destroyed in another attack. But we'd have to be careful. The Decepticons are not the only threat on Earth to worry about."
"This another one of your 'hints' from the show?" Arcee asked with her servos on her hips as she smirked at me. I shrugged. "Will you ever give us a straight answer?"
"Can't tell you everything remember." I countered.
Arcee rolled her optics. "You make it sound like we'll demand future events from you."
"You just might." I said. Since I knew the future, I knew that eventually the events of 'Predatory' were going to come and I didn't want to know what Arcee's reaction would be to that, especially due to the fact I knew it had been coming. Arcee's anger clouds her judgment when it comes to her revenge on Airachnid. However, I shook those thoughts from my processer and looked at Optimus. "Optimus?"
The Prime was silent for a few seconds before he spoke. "It is a wise and strategic course of action. Very well. Agent Fowler, send us your coordinates. We will transport the device to it's destination."
"Will do." Fowler nodded and cut transmission there before he sent us his coordinates.
After getting the DNGS loaded up into Optimus' trailer, with Arcee being the one to sit inside and keep watch over the device, the rest of us transformed into our vehicle modes. Since Cliffjumper was still alive, he was here with us. Once Fowler got into Optimus' vehicle mode via the driver's side, the Prime gave his infamous order.
"Autobots, roll out!"
With that, we were off.
A few minutes into the drive, we were going down a long road with mountains up ahead, forests on either side of us. The show never specifically said where the events of 'Convoy' took place, but as it turns out it was somewhere in Arizona. I always thought it was somewhere in Canada, given the sight of forests and mountains. Seems, I was wrong.
The line of order was Optimus, myself, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee then Bulkhead... and it was a little frustrating seeing as my vehicle mode was meant for speed, so going this slow was a little... grating but I was able to keep a hold of myself. I wasn't some adrenaline junkie with a need for speed just because I transformed into a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
As we drove, Ratchet spoke on the comm-link. "We're locked on to your coordinates, Optimus. Barring any complications, you should reach the drop off point by sundown."
"This is going to be a long trip, isn't it?" Cliffjumper said on the coms with a sigh.
"It's necessary, Cliff." I responded to him. "Lest you want half of America to become a melted puddle and for it to sink into the ocean like the Titanic. And yes, I know you watched that movie."
Cliffjumper was silent for a few seconds before he responded. "Miko talked me into it."
"Did not!" Said girl shouted with a huff. "As if I'd watch something so... mushy!"
"It's not exactly a romance movie, Miko, but an adaptation of a true event." Jack said with a solemn tone in his voice. Yeah, the sinking of the Titanic was a dark disaster in human history. Gotta hand it to James Cameron for the way he was able to put the events onto the big screen.
Deciding to change the subject from this topic, I spoke to a certain two-wheeler. "How you doing in there, 'Cee?"
"Just peachy." Came the grumbling reply. "Just get me a pillow, a flat screen, and I'll be all set for this. Why couldn't you have done this part? Or Cliff? Or Bee? Or Bulk?"
"First off, you did so without complaint in the show-"
"This isn't your show." Arcee countered.
"Two..." I continued as if I hadn't been interrupted. "You really want to hear Cliffjumper complain the whole way and afterwards?"
"Hey!" Said Autobot cried out in offensive.
Arcee was silent for a few seconds before she responded. "Good point. But I'm getting you back for this. When we get back to base, me and you, in the ring."
"Yes ma'am." I said with a sigh. Yeah, I was sure in for it.
Cliffjumper chuckled. "Someone's in trouble."
"Shut up, Cliffjumper." I grumbled at him.
"You always find a way to get on her nerves, Bladewolf." Bumblebee snickered.
"Yeah, and she ends up kicking your aft in the SAFE." Bulkhead laughed. Gee, where's the respect?
"You know, I think he does it so he can have some one-on-one time with her." Cliffjumper aid with a knowing chuckle, which made the other two laugh while I was confused and a little annoyed.
"Cliffjumper, whatever you're insinuating... I'd stop before Arcee decides to ring your helm herself." I warned him. "That goes for Bumblebee and Bulkhead as well."
Before anyone could respond, the sound of Optimus' horn blaring caught all of our attention, followed by Fowler shouting. "Move it, gramps!" Soon, we passed a rusty old truck that had been going too slow for Fowler's liking.
"Wow, he's not just rude to us, he's rude to innocent drivers." Cliffjumper remarked dryly.
I chuckled. "Humans aren't exactly the most patient of creatures, no matter how much they try to be patient. Impatience always wins in the end."
As we continued to drive for another five or ten klicks, I noticed a helicopter above us via my side view mirrors. Looks like they were here. Not long after the helicopter's appearance, I saw several light green with dark green highlights custom muscle cars quickly approaching us.
"We've got company, watch your rear views." I cautioned my team The cars, which were ten in total, boxed in Bulkhead and I while Cliffjumper and Bumblebee were in front of Optimus.
"Feeling a little constricted without the use of my fists here, boss." Bulkhead said.
"Remain in vehicular mode unless absolutely necessary." Optimus ordered.
"Who are these guys anyway?" Cliffjumper asked, wanting to know obviously.
"A whole team of 'Cons." Fowler said on the radio.
"What? I'm not picking up anything. They must be utilizing a cloaking technology." Ratchet said.
"They aren't Decepticons." I said darkly. MECH was a group that didn't deserve to be called humans. They were animals. Monsters.
"What do you mean they're not Decepticons?" Cliffjumper asked with a little irritated but mostly confused.
I saw a 2nd car drive up beside Optimus before a human popped out the top with a gun in hand, aiming it at Fowler. "Pull over!" The human ordered.
"Well I'll be dipped!" Fowler shouted in surprise.
"George is correct. Our assailants are not Decepticons - They are human." Optimus said.
"Human?" Ratchet, Jack and Raf asked in shock and confusion back at base.
Miko scoffed. "Oh please. Taking on our 'Bots? They're roadkill!"
"They're going to be roadkill if they don't back the hell off." I growled.
"Woah, Geo-Bladewolf, are you okay?" Jack asked, obviously concerned for my sudden d ark mood and tone.
"No, I'm not, Jack. This is one group of humans I despised from the show." I said before addressing my team. "Everyone, we need to get these vehicles off us to buy ourselves some time and distance. The further the better."
"Who are these guys?" Fowler wondered.
"People who don't know when to stay out of business that doesn't concern them." I answered him darkly.
"Autobots, maintain your cover and apply minimal force. Disarmament only." The Autobot leader ordered us.
Another car with an agent on top tried to pull up on Optimus's passenger side, but Bumblebee dropped back and rear-ended them. They tried to pull ahead, but Bumblebee slammed into their side and sent them skidding and weaving, until they hit some fallen rock and the car flipped, the agent just ducking back in the car in time. The convoy winded around the side of the mountain with Bumblebee in the lead now, and the remaining cars being right behind Bulkhead.
I pulled to the side before reversing so I was with Bulkhead and rammed into the side of one of the green cars, sending it crashing into a rock, then it flipped and flipped until it went over the cliff and crashing down below with nothing happening.
"Bladewolf-"
"They'll live, Prime." I told Optimus calmly as I drove on ahead and switched places with Cliffjumper who joined Bulkhead at the back. We had to take a few turns due to the road going in a side to side sort of way on the mountain we were driving on. I looked back in my rear view mirror to see one of the humans climbing into the gap between Optimus and his trailer but Fowler got out to deal with him, only for the MECH agent to be knocked out of Fowler's grip by a tree.
Soon enough, the voice of the bastard behind all of this spoke through Fowler's walkie-talkie, which we were all able to hear. "I do hope you take better care of the DNGS than you do your captives."
"Special Agent Fowler here. Identify yourself!" Fowler demanded.
"I am Silas but, of greater consequence to you, we are MECH."
"MECH? Seriously?" Cliffjumper asked in disbelief through a private comms channel with us Autobots.
"Fair warning. We will be helping ourselves to your device, even if it means inflicting causalities." Silas warned.
"Is that so?" Fowler asked. "Tell me, Si, what's the market price for a DNGS these days?"
"What makes you think we intend to sell it, Agent Fowler?" The bastard asked, and I could tell he was smirking as he asked that. Knowing MECH, they'd want to make the DNGS a weapon, especially the energy. "There's a war brewing between the new world order and the newest. The victor will be the side armed with the most innovative technology."
Behind Optimus, another one of those fancy-pants MECH cars pulled up over the line dividing the two lanes. One of the occupants poked out through the sunroof and fired three shots at Optimus's trailer with his gun. The three shots landed on one of the bars that kept the trailer door shut and the ramp tucked inside. With a push of a button, electricity cackled from the bullets before exploding. The bars were removed and the roller door opened willingly. The MECH guys were expecting easy access to DNGS. Climb in, grab it, and make a run for it.
Oh, how they'd wish it was that easy...
"So, Si, you think MECH has the most radical tech?" Fowler asked in a taunting voice.
As if on cue, Arcee with her hologram, Sadie, flew out of Optimus' trailer in her vehicular mode and landed on top of the MECH car. The guy yelled in surprise and made the jump for his life. Arcee backed off and the MECH car started doing flips on its side, which in turn flipped the car behind it. Arcee, Bulkhead and I managed to get clear as the car exploded behind them.
"Nice of you to join us." I remarked to the two-wheeler.
"Was getting cramped in there, itching to get a part of the action." Arcee retorted with a grin in her voice. "You boys look like you needed me."
"Pretty sure we had it handled." I chuckled before I went and switched places with Cliffjumper in front of Optimus, Arcee soon joining Bumblebee and I.
Ratchet spoke on the comm-link. "Optimus, prepare to initiate phase 2. 5 miles ahead, to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point."
We continued to drive down the highway, even with MECH on our tails, which now ran alongside two sets of train tracks, with a train coming alongside us. "There's our destination point." Fowler said on the radio to all of us.
"Autobots, keep a tight formation." Optimus ordered.
Arcee swerved a little on the road before driving down on the train tracks and going side by side with the train as the rest of us followed. I quickly transformed into robot form, aimed a Thermal Rocket Launcher at the top of the tunnel we just came through and shot a couple of rockets which caused several debris to fall down and cover the entrance, preventing MECH cars from following us.
I grinned before I transformed back into my vehicle mode and drove on after my team. "Nice work, Wolf." Bulkhead complimented me as I drove beside him and Cliffjumper.
"Thanks Bulk."
While we remained in the tunnel, we enacted our plan of getting the DNGS onto the train beside us before we transformed back to vehicle mode and acted like nothing had happened when we drove out of the train tunnel. I then heard the sound of an aerial vehicle that was NOT a helicopter. I looked into the sky via rear view mirror to see certain purple jets.
"Boss, we have some company." I warned Optimus.
"I see them, Bladewolf."
The lead eradicon fired 4 missiles on us and pulled back as we swerved to avoid the attack, but in the process the trailer got detached from Optimus. We drove on as the missiles hit the trailer, causing it to explode. We drive to the edge of a cliff, as the eradicons transformed and landed, ready to fight. Soon enough we do the same.
"Glad to finally get some action." I said as I smashed my fists together before unsheathing my swords.
"I agree with ya." Cliffjumper chuckled as he assumed a battle stance.
"After a long road trip, it feels good to get out of the car, stretch my legs... " Bulkhead said as he smashes his fists together like I did. "And kick some tailpipe!"
Bulkhead transformed out his mace and we charged the vehicons. Optimus punched out the first one, while Bulkhead smashed another. Arcee used kung fu and Bumblebee used boxing against their opponents. I slashed through several Decepticons with my swords as Cliffjumper punched and kicked any before being backhanded by one which nearly broke one of his horns.
"You want the horns?" Cliffjumper smirked before he transformed his arms into blasters. "You got them!"
Optimus smashes another two to the ground as I threw one of my swords through the spark of a Decepticon, followed by decapitating another. Suddenly Fowler said through his radio. "Silas got wise to phase 2!"
Not good.
As I retrieved my second sword from an offline eradicon, I saw Optimus be hit in the face with a tree trunk, causing him to fall down the side of the cliff, bouncing a few times before landing hard on his front.
"Scrap!" I cursed, knowing somebody ahd to stop Silas from getting the DNGS. Yeah, I knew Optimus would get back up but I didn't want to tke chances of something changing because of my presence. I'm lucky enough to have only met some minor changes so far in the timeline.
Without another word, I sheathed my swords, transformed into my jet form and blasted off into the air, flying in the direction of the train. As I flew over the tracks, I saw the train up ahead but a far distance. Knowing I'd be going too fast in jet form, I transformed into vehicle mode and drove after the train.
"Bladewolf! Jack and Miko are on the train and MECH has blown the tracks!" Ratchet said on the comm-link.
"Understood, Ratchet! I'm in pursuit!" I replied before accelerating ahead to the front of the train, transforming back to robot form and grabbing the train as I tried to make it slow down and stop. I growled and grunted as I pulled as hard as I can, my pedes digging into the ground. Optimus drove on on the other side and transformed, grabbing the train and he helped me in slowing the train down to a stop just at the edge of the impact point where the tracks had been blown up.
Optimus and I looked at each other before looking up upon hearing helicopter blades rotating and looked to see Silas' helicopter hovering there before it eventually flew off.
"Optimus, Bladewolf, are you and the children... intact?" Ratchet asked us.
"We're fine, Ratchet." I said as I looked down at Jack and Miko who were arguing over something and smiled a bit before it fell as I looked at the sky with Optimus.
"Crisis averted." Optimus agreed with me. "But the world in which we live is a different one than previously imagined. One which has spawned its own Decepticons… in human skin..."
