A/N: Finishing this long piece finally XD
He used to remember being read the story before falling asleep every night, by the mother whom he was born to in this current life. Ignoring the fact that it seemed a bit silly for a mum to read such a romantic fairy tale to their own son, he used to love listening to the story being read to him as a bedtime story.
Because the fairy tale ended with a happy ending where the prince and princess lived happily ever after together afterwards. And he had always loved such a good ending to a story...
She was lying upon a couch with her lovely hair spread out like a stream of gold: and, oh! no words can tell how beautiful she was. Softly the Prince came near and bent over her. He touched her hand; it was warm as in life, but she did not stir. No sound of breathing came from her parted lips, fresh and sweet as the petals of a rose; her eyes were closed.
For a long time the Prince stood and gazed upon her, for never in all his life had he seen a maiden so lovely. Then suddenly he bent down and kissed her lips.

Ace steadied his heart as he bent over towards Keiwa, his six fox tails still visible from the corner of his eyes. A wild thought suddenly occurred inside his head—which surprised him that it took him this long to come out with this solution. The powers of creation that he initially gave to Keiwa to sustain his life that has already fused both of their life forces together—what if he could split them equally so that both of them could survive and live together without endangering each other's life? Wouldn't that be a great thing? The powers of creation that he inherited from his mother were already so great and immense, did he really need all that power inside him still... now that he no longer has to worry about the people who used to be responsible for the creation of the DesiGra?
Aside from granting a happy ending to everyone who still wished for it, shouldn't he also allow himself to receive his own form of a happy ending that didn't end on a bitter-sweet note? He had wished for a world where everyone and anyone can become happy... so surely that must also include himself.
Currently, as it stands, he already recovered six of his own original nine tails. Those remaining three tails, the power that encompasses those very three tails could either reside inside Keiwa or lay scattered all over this world... wherever those powers were he didn't really have a great need to get them back. And even at six tails, that was already more than he'd ever needed in this life. So what if, he gave up half of that power to restore Keiwa's weakening life force? Wouldn't that mean he'd be able to save Keiwa and wake him up from this deep sleep?

Even if it was a very childish innocent thought, isn't it also a powerful wish? Believing needs no basis, as long as he firmly believed in that wish... surely something good will come out of it! That was what he wanted to believe!
So with bated breath, Ace had bent over to kiss Keiwa's lips, and when their lips touched... Ace filled his mind with thoughts of how much he had loved Keiwa with all his heart, as he focused on channelling half of the powers of creation inside of him into Keiwa. Not too much to the point he'd turn back into the form of a white fox, not too little where it might end up not being able to sustain Keiwa's life that was already weakening!
Ace took his time to slowly infuse his own life force to become part of Keiwa's life force, with every kiss he gave Keiwa he made sure that this power would not leak back into him again to endanger Keiwa's life anymore in the future. As Ace revelled at every single touch and taste of Keiwa's lips against his, he made sure that this time the gifted power would remain a part of Keiwa's soul and not his.
And once the transfer was completed, Ace would just continue kissing Keiwa until the sensation was strong enough to jolt Keiwa back to wakefulness. Certainly, Keiwa wouldn't just sit still after being kissed passionately and not returning the favour...

The first thing he noted once his consciousness returned was the familiar sensation of having his lips being fondled and kissed as he felt someone's tongue inside his mouth and being licked and sucked inside and out. And the more the sensation grew stronger, he could feel warmth grow inside his mouth and throat and body... until most of the heat started to pool inside his groins. This felt so good... he thought at first before he found himself responding to the kiss and felt his mind starting to become clearer and more awake.
And then Keiwa opened his eyes to see the most flattering sight he could ever set his eyes on, right after waking up. It was the sight of his loved one, as Keiwa gazed fondly at Ace who finally had pulled away from him; face flushed after giving him a very passionate and deep kiss. Ace slowly opened his eyes before he started to smile down at him... finally noticing that he had woken up.
"Hey, there... sleepy head!" said Ace as Keiwa also started to smile.
"What a charming face for me to wake up to—" said Keiwa in return as Ace started to laugh.
"A True Love's Kiss... it really works like magic!" he exclaimed so cheerfully and tearfully as Keiwa felt his cheeks growing warm by the remark.
"Heh—" Keiwa sighed breathlessly as he grinned at his lover, "—does that mean you're my prince who broke the spell that has been cast on me?" he asked as Ace shook his head at him.
"No," said Ace before licking the tip of Keiwa's nose like the fox he used to be, "That means that I am your princess, who just saved her prince who had fallen into a deep sleep."

He started to laugh loudly, as Ace's words didn't quite make perfect sense. And that made Ace start to shower him with kisses again, just like the first night he had brought Ace into his home as a fox. And just like before, Ace didn't just assault his lips and the inside of his mouth... but also he started to pepper kisses on his cheeks and eyes and brows and ears and neck. He barely even register when was it that Ace started to lift him up into a sitting position, to allow him better access to explore the rest of his body...
Keiwa could even feel one of Ace's hand start to roam down his torso—ah wait! Ace can't be doing thi—they're still inside the hospital room! What if people suddenly walked in—
Keiwa frantically tried to make Ace stop fondling him and his body—as if the loose hospital robe he was wearing didn't already make him feel exposed enough—and he grew to become aware of the increasing warmth that started to gather around his lower regions.
"Ace... stop! At this rate—!" Keiwa gasped as Ace kept abusing the tip of his ears and neck...
He'll really gonna be...!
Without warning, Keiwa could feel something popping out from inside his body...

Ace finally pulled away from Keiwa after hearing the cutest squeak coming from his lover's mouth. And he was greeted with the most adorable sight he ever saw Keiwa wear on his face! Keiwa's face and neck were now flaming red with embarrassment... but what really caught his eye was the fact that now Keiwa had an extra pair of Tanuki ears popping out of on top of his head!
The sight pleased him so much that Ace let his own fox ears and three tails come out into the open so that Keiwa wouldn't be the only one with an extra pair of animal ears.
"What are you still laughing at, stupid Ace? Look at what you've done!" Keiwa whined loudly as the older tanuki pouted his mouth at him. Ace reacted by fondling one of Keiwa's tanuki ears as his lover continued making some squeaky noises at him.
"Ace, stop! That ti... ckle—?" Keiwa stopped himself as he placed a hand on one of his ears to find that Ace hadn't been touching that ear, despite still feeling Ace's fingers on his ear.
Ace started to laugh again as he took Keiwa's hand and guided it towards the top of his head where the tanuki ears popped up.
Keiwa's reaction afterwards was even more amusing as he almost shrieked at Ace.
"Ace! What've you done to me?" exclaimed Keiwa in alarm as Ace continued to grin at him.
"I saved your life... that's what I did, my love—" said Ace cheerfully as he tried to soothe his lover. "At least on the bright side, you're not the only one with an extra pair of ears now. And you still looked so adorable—" said Ace again before kissing the tip of Keiwa's nose.
Keiwa immediately covered his face with his hand as he started worrying about how to hide his new pair of Tanuki ears now. So Ace pulled Keiwa into a hug as he tried to reassure his love that things will work out fine later.
And eventually, Keiwa started to calm down from his initial alarm. Ace let out a sigh of relief.

He'll probably tell Keiwa about the new Tanuki tail later once the shock over the Tanuki ears starts to wear down...

Meanwhile, outside of the hospital room...
Michinaga just stared at Neon and Sara's odd behaviour as the two kept squealing and whispering excitedly between themselves while still sneakily peeking into Keiwa's room yet refusing to enter it for some reason. And not long earlier, the two had been exclaiming that Ace had finally got Keiwa to wake up from his coma.
Yet why on earth were the two not letting anyone enter the room to check on Keiwa and Ace? Or even call the doctors to inform them that Keiwa had woken up?
"They must've had a reason, just be patient now... can you—" said Win as the other man and Tsumuri were sitting together calmly on the bench nearby.
"Aah... this is annoying!" exclaimed Michinaga pulling both Sara and Neon away from the door and kicking it open.

And the rest of them were greeted with the loudest scream they ever heard Keiwa make as Keiwa immediately tried to hide behind Ace's lean body.
