Meanwhile, Copen was sitting on his bed, twirling his gun with his left index finger.
'She really is a traitor, she left us just so she could work with them. She knew they were my enemy, but then again, she's one of them. She still could've stayed and helped.' Copen angrily thought.
On Lyoko, Naomi was pacing in a straight line, twiddling her thumbs behind her back, wondering what to do.
"So, what do we do now Jeremy?" Naomi worried.
"I'm working on a devirtualization as we speak." Jeremy affirmed.
Suddenly, Naomi heard a 'squish' sound behind her. When she turned around and looked up, Naomi saw what looked like a tall giant squid. However, the tentacles were translucent with a hint of sea green, its head was a clear dome its body was also cone shaped with mostly purple and an orange stripe down the middle.
"Um, Jeremy, do you know anything about a giant squid?" Naomi asked.
"Giant squid?" Jeremy wondered.
Suddenly, the realization hit Jeremy like a train.
"Naomi, get away from that thing! That's the Scyphozoa!" Jeremy shouted nervously.
"I don't know what you're talking about, but I got the message." Naomi answered.
Naomi ran as fast as she could into a nearby cave. The Scyphozoa tried to grab Naomi by putting its tentacles into the cave, but failed and went away.
"Jeremy, the Scyphozoa didn't catch me. What does it say on your screen?" Naomi spoke.
"It's safe, you can get out of the cave now." Jeremy responded.
Naomi got out of the cave and looked at her surroundings to make sure the Scyphozoa was gone.
On Jeremy's end, he turned off communications as to not worry Naomi anymore than she already was.
"I don't understand, why does the Scyphozoa want Naomi?" Jeremy pondered.
"Wait, I think I know why!" Aelita exclaimed.
"What is it Aelita?" Jeremy wondered.
"Naomi was talking about something she had called 'the Muse Septima' earlier, right?" Aelita asked.
"Yeah, what about it?" Jeremy queried.
"Xana said earlier that he was going to kidnap Mytyl if Naomi didn't self-surrender because Mytyl had some of the Muse Septima. But, what would he do with it?" Aelita explained.
"I think I know why! But we'll need Naomi to explain." Jeremy worried.
Jeremy then turned communications back on between him and Lyoko.
"Hey Naomi?" Jeremy greeted.
"Yeah?" Naomi interrogated.
"Can you tell us about the Muse Septima?" Jeremy asked.
"Um, sure. The Muse Septima can be used to track other Adepts because it enhances their Septima's by at least 10 fold, making them much easier to track. Adepts are usually kidnapped and used in experiments after they are found.
My father used my Septima for that after the failed attempt to cure Mytyl of her condition. The Muse Septima can be used to track Adepts and even has the ability to revive people. Somehow, the Muse Septima has been split into four people at once." Naomi explained.
Aelita and Jeremy's jaws dropped after hearing the explanation Naomi gave.
"Um, hello? Aelita? Jeremy? Are you guys still there?" Naomi queried.
Aelita and Jeremy shook their heads to clear them.
"Yeah, we're still here." Jeremy responded.
"Have either of you figured out how to get me OUT OF HERE!?" Naomi asked.
"I'm working on it." Jeremy replied.
Jeremy started typing, after a few minutes a beep went off.
"Alright, listen close Naomi. There should be a tower 48 degrees Southeast of your current location." Jeremy informed.
Naomi started running in that direction but stopped after she remembered something.
Hey Jeremy, what does the tower look like?" Naomi asked.
"It looks like a vertical white cylinder." Jeremy explained.
"Okay." Naomi agreed.
Naomi then ran all the way to the tower.
"Are there any enemies in the vicinity Jeremy?" Naomi asked.
"Not that I can see. I'd recommend you get in the tower before there are any though." Jeremy replied.
"And how exactly do I do that? I don't see any-woah!" Naomi spoke while feeling around.
However, Naomi fell onto the tower platform at the bottom of the tower.
"Alright, I'm in the tower Jeremy. Now how exactly do I get out of here?" Naomi spoke.
"Okay, stand in the center of the platform, it will lift you up to the next one. When you get there, put your hand on the screen that appears in front of you. Afterwards, I'll bring you back in." Jeremy explained.
"Alright, seems simple enough." Naomi told herself aloud.
Naomi did as Jeremy instructed. When she was done, Jeremy devirtualized her. When Naomi was devirtualized, she was greeted by Jeremy and Aelita who witnessed Naomi fainting after she fell out the Scanner.
After Jeremy knew Naomi was devirtualized, him and Aelita went down to the Scanners Room to check on Naomi. When Jeremy and Aelita got down to the Scanners Room, they were both relieved to see Naomi was okay.
"Well that's good, she only fainted." Jeremy smiled.
Aelita turned her head and looked at Jeremy.
"Did you get anything from the scan?" Aelita wondered.
"I did actually. It turns out your father gave Naomi the ability to deactivate towers when he helped operate on her to remove the Muse Septima. He also gave her the ability to access data from the heart of Lyoko." Jeremy answered.
"Really!?" Aelita asked.
Jeremy nodded.
"He sure did. I think it's because it would be harder for Xana to get near Naomi than you. Mostly considering she can protect herself better and she lives farther away from the Factory." Jeremy answered.
Just then, Naomi sat up.
"How do you guys do this all the time?" Naomi wondered.
"Eh, you get used to it." Aelita responded.
"Well, I'm going back to my apartment. Bye." Naomi spoke.
And with that, Naomi went back to her apartment.
'Never, again.' Naomi thought while kicking her boots off.
