Meanwhile, Copen just returned to the sanatorium after defeating Desna. When his parents noticed Naomi wasn't with him, Dr. Kamizono got onto Naomi's PC and looked at the blueprints Naomi had for Lola before finding a backway into the tracking system.

It showed that she was at the UTU media tower. However, it also showed that she was speeding back to the sanatorium at an incredibly unnatural rate. A few seconds later, everyone heard a knock at the entrance door. When Nori answered the door, she noticed Naomi standing there.

She was smiling nervously with her eyes closed and had her hands behind her back. Ms. Francine then appeared behind Nori.

"You have some explaining to do missy." Ms. Francine remarked.

Back at the school, everyone was asleep. Odd was dreaming about being at the Factory watching the news saying that all of the world's potatoes were infected. Then the news reporter said all of the potatoes would have to be burned.

"No, not the potatoes." Odd muttered before rolling to the right side of his bed.

Aelita and Jeremy were dreaming of going on a date with each other while Ulrich and Yumi were dreaming of a sparring match. At the sanatorium, as soon as she heard she was in trouble, Naomi instantly regretted reviving her parents.

"Just what exactly were you doing out at 1 in the morning young lady?" Dr. Kamizono interrogated.

"Ugh, I was working!" Naomi complained.

"Working on what?" Dr. Kamizono questioned.

"I'm not telling." Naomi refuted.

"I can tell you." Copen offered.

"Please do." Dr. Kamizono spoke.

"She's been working for QUILL." Copen notified.

"And what is that exactly?" Dr. Kamizono wondered.

Naomi sighed.

"QUILL is an acronym for the quorum for unrestricted information, law and liberty. Their goal is to bring justice and eventual freedom to all Adepts across the globe." Copen explained.

"And, who is your employer exactly?" Dr. Kamizono asked.

Naomi shook her head.

"I don't know. I just got a ad on my PC for the company. I looked into them and their site said they wanted new employees. So I thought I could help fight for a righteous cause and possibly pay for somethings while I was at it. Besides, Nori supported me the entire way." Naomi lied.

Nori was in the corner and walked up to tell her half of the story.

"With all do respect, Naomi was staying here even more bored than Mytyl. I knew she could use some out time and an opportunity to make friends with other teens her age. And I admit, Copen can be a little rude to at times." Nori elucidated.

"I hate to say this Naomi, but I have no choice but to place you on house arrest for 10 days and disable any of your links to the outside world." Dr. Kamizono notified.

"I can't stay stuck here! I have to help some friends check their computer and all because Merak damaged it! Look dad, you and I both know how terrible the Sumeragi is. Earlier, Nova tried to use a recording of the time I sang no easy way out to make Adepts kill themselves. So the reason I was out was so I could save those poor and innocent people caught in the crosshairs!," Naomi spoke. "Besides, I'm not injured or anything." Naomi added.

Dr. Kamizono then stood up before saying something that would enrage Naomi for more than 10 days.

"I'll also take Lola away from you for a bit just as a safety precaution." Dr. Kamizono notified.

Naomi growled before throwing down her tightly clenched fists, watching as her father walked away.

'How the hell, is he so calm after all of the jitt that just happened!?' Naomi wondered.

Meanwhile, Lola was sleeping happily in her charger. Suddenly, Lola heard Naomi's bedroom door creak open before hearing heavy approaching footsteps. Lola woke up.

"Good morning!" Lola greeted while opening her 'eyes'. However, when she saw Dr. Kamizono standing there, she flew to the left of him before speeding to Naomi. When Lola was within arm's reach, Naomi grabbed Lola and held her close.

Dr. Kamizono then walked up to Naomi before taking Lola from her. Naomi then muttered a few curse words while walking before slamming her bedroom door.

'What the fluff am I supposed to do now!? I have no Lola and absolutely no communications anyone else! And that means I'm probably going to be fired from the only job I'll ever be able to have!' Naomi thought angrily.
