Back at Kadic, it was time for breakfast. So, while everyone was waiting on Yumi, the group was eating.
"So, what do you think Naomi's up to right now Ulrich?" Odd questioned while waving a fork with scrambled eggs on it at his best friend.
"I don't know Odd, maybe we could ask her later after our classes." Ulrich answered.
Suddenly, Yumi showed up and sat on the right of Ulrich.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late, what's up?" Yumi greeted.
"Ah, you know, the usual. Lyoko, Xana, but Odd here was just talking about Naomi." Ulrich spoke.
Yumi went behind Ulrich and jabbed Odd in his left kidney with her right elbow.
"Are you in love with Naomi Odd? Is that it?" Yumi teased.
"Maybe, I honestly don't know yet." Odd explained.
"I don't know if you can be in a relationship with her Odd." Jeremy doubted while adjusting his glasses with his left hand.
"What do you mean by that Einstein? Aelita was virtual but look at you two now, snug as bugs in a rug!" Odd protested.
"That's completely different Odd. Aelita was virtual at first, but we figured out she was human. Naomi on the other hand was born an Adept!" Jeremy refuted.
"Well I don't care and I never will! Besides, if Aelita was an Adept and had her powers from Lyoko here on Earth, you'd still love her wouldn't you!?" Odd shouted.
Everyone else sat there wide eyed and wide mouthed.
Back at QUILL, Moniqa tried messaging Naomi. However, Dr. Kamizono saw the message and had Nori (who was very against this but did it anyways) track the IP address of the area it came from.
"I'm sorry Naomi." Nori muttered.
The screen of the system Nori used to help Copen showed where the QUILL building Naomi worked at was. Back with Moniqa, she saw the hacking threat and hacked a shop's digital register with the building's coordinates to throw the hacker off.
Luckily, this worked. At the sanatorium, Naomi ran downstairs like a psychopath. (*cough* Stratos *cough* Elise* cough)
"What's going on?" Naomi wondered.
"I'm sorry sweetie, but I have no choice but to have you quit working for QUILL." Dr. Kamizono notified.
"Y-you can't be serious!" Naomi denied.
"Unfortunately Naomi, I am, and it's for your own safety." Dr. Kamizono spoke.
"Ha! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard you say! While your over here trying to *air quote* keep me safe *un-air quote*, other people are out there at even more risk than I am!" Naomi protested.
Meanwhile, Moniqa exhaled a small sigh of relief.
'But, where did the hack come from? And why isn't Naomi here?' Moniqa pondered.
At Kadic academy, everyone was excited because it was a Saturday and the gang just got out of their last classes for the day.
"I tried contacting Naomi earlier but her watch went straight to voicemail." Jeremy notified while the group walked to the Hermitage.
"Well that's strange, she always answers any call she gets." Aelita remarked.
Yumi gasped.
"She could be in trouble!" Yumi shrieked.
Meanwhile, Lola was also programmed to make solid hologram projections and made one so she could escape a safe she was about to be put in so Naomi couldn't get her gear. The first place Lola went was to the QUILL building.
Luckily, the first person Lola saw was Moniqa. Naomi downloaded all of the info she had on everyone she knew into Lola's system.
"Moniqa!" Lola shouted while flying to Moniqa.
When she turned around, Moniqa saw Lola who was only a half a foot away from her face.
"Hi Lola, is something wrong?" Moniqa greeted.
"Well, you see, Naomi's grounded for 10 days." Lola answered.
Moniqa nodded.
"Thank you for informing me." Moniqa thanked before turning around and walking off.
'Now to tell the others.' Lola thought.
Lola then teleported herself to Kadic academy, looking for either Aelita, Ulrich, Odd or Jeremy.
"Ew! What is that!? Some giant mutated fly!?" Sissi spoke before kicking Lola.
Lola then fell to the ground as the plates and 'eye' on her left side fell off, revealing titanium plating and her left 'eye' socket. Back at the sanatorium, the solid projection disappeared.
