After a bit, the Mantis was defeated and Arson arrived.

"What the heck happened here!?" Arson wondered.

"Oh nothing, just a mantis attack." Naomi smiled.

"That's all it was to you!?" Arson gawked.

Naomi nodded happily.

"What are you doing here?" Copen asked.

Naomi then walked over to Xana before whispering in his left ear.

"Did you do a return to the past?" Naomi questioned.

Xana shook his head.

"Just curious." Naomi added.

"So, what happened earlier? Mr. Delmas told us about something breaking the political trust between France and Japan." Ulrich spoke.

"Oh, that, yeah. I was caught by a couple of Sumeragi agents who's gear was upgraded. Anytime I tried to electrocute them their gear power was increased. Then Stratos was originally used to lure me here. Next Viper and Nova showed up with the Mantis behind them.

Viper then decided to crush Lola under his right foot. Afterwards I was told to see Mr. Delmas and tell him everything was fine before surrendering myself to the Sumeragi and working on the 9th floor of their building. That is what was originally planned anyways. Instead when I the principal's office, I found my dad talking to the frickin principal!

"What about the Sumeragi? Where do you and your family tie in with them?" Yumi asked.

"The ties, and my last name actually come from my mom's side of the family. She also has a sister, which makes her my aunt." Naomi explained.

Suddenly, Jeremy's phone went off.

"What's going on that I haven't been informed about?" Naomi interrogated.

"It looks like the Factory Interface is taking on a lot of heavy damage." Jeremy spoke.

"I'd better go home. I'll meet you there." Copen commented.

Naomi nodded before turning to look at Arson.

"So here's how it goes. You go back to HQ or wherever the –" but Naomi cut herself off before walking over to Aelita and covering her ears.

"H-e- double hockey sticks you came from." Naomi snarled.

Arson didn't know what to do, so Naomi teleported him back to HQ.

"Um, why did you over my ears?" Aelita queried.

"I didn't want you to hear me swearing." Naomi replied.

"So, how much do you and Copen fight?" Yumi questioned.

"Well, verbally and physically about the same. I swear when God was handing out brains my lil bro probly thought he said 'rain' and ran for cover." Naomi teased.

Everyone laughed before Naomi's watch rang. Naomi then looked at her watch to see Xiao who's face was paler than a vampire could ever be.

"What happened to you? You put yourself in the freezer to see if suspended animation works on Adepts? Been there, experimented on for that, it works." Naomi spoke.

"That's not the problem." Xiao responded shakily.

"What is it then?" Naomi pondered.

Xiao turned to the right side so Naomi could see to the left. When she looked, Naomi felt her heart skip a beat.

"Wha, what is this insanity?" Naomi wondered.
