Back with the Lyoko group, they were wondering how they were going to spend their Saturday.
"Anyone like the thought of an ice cream eating contest?" Odd questioned.
"I know! How about we execute some training on Lyoko?" Jeremy suggested.
Everyone else groaned.
"What do you think daddy?" Aelita asked.
"I say we plan an attack against the Sumeragi. Or, I could tell you all how your parents worked for them." Franz recommended.
Aelita came back with a glass of water. However, some of the water went into her lungs. Or at least, that's what it felt like.
"Huh? Really?" Yumi questioned.
"Naomi finally found out that your father worked on her and your mother worked on the robots on the 9th floor of the Sumeragi's current headquarters building is. Did you know that Yumi?" Franz spoke.
"No sir, I didn't." Yumi answered.
"But, my parents never left France." Jeremy denied.
"Mine never left Germany." Ulrich notified.
"I was only shipped out here. My family hasn't stepped a foot out of Italy." Odd confirmed.
"That is true Odd. But did you all know, that just like with QUILL, the Sumeragi has buildings stationed on every continent and in every country?" Franz informed.
"Wow." Odd gasped.
"Wait, then why is Naomi targeting the Sumeragi office in Japan?" Yumi noticed.
"The Sumeragi office in Japan is the original office. Commands come from that area as well and the other buildings follow the commands in suit. Whether it's a lockdown protocol or an attack protocol." Franz explained.
"What about the other QUILL offices? Are they attacking the Sumeragi's office in Japan?" Jeremy questioned.
"The other countries know that if they try to divert their attention to a different Sumeragi office, the on in their country just might do something." Franz elucidated.
At the QUILL office in Japan, Moniqa was looking at a package that just appeared on her desk.
"Did anyone synth gear?" Moniqa asked.
"No." Zeno replied.
"That must be the bomb." Asimov noticed.
"So, lemme get this straight. The Sumeragi, just, randomly, sent us, a bomb?" Zeno spoke.
Moniqa shook her head.
"The Sumeragi controls everything Zeno. So of course they can send anything they want through the mail." Moniqa remarked.
"Naomi sent it. I asked her to send us one from the Sumeragi's cargo ship. Though she decided to take them all." Asimov elucidated.
Back with Naomi, she was dragging Arson's unconscious body out of the apartment building.
'Darn it! I don't know where he lives!' Naomi thought.
"I'm just gonna take him home with me. Since, apparently, there's no other place I can take him." Naomi muttered before teleporting back to the sanatorium.
Nori noticed Naomi trying to hide Arson's body in her closet.
"If you want I could take him and lie that he's a new patient." Nori offered.
Naomi nodded.
"I owe you one, big time." Naomi panted after giving Arson's body to Nori.
Nori then walked off, only for Ms. Francine to walk in.
"Goodness child! You're paler than your hair and thinner than a piece of paper!" Ms. Francine shrieked.
Naomi then crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"And this is exactly why Nori is my favorite." Naomi muttered.
"Is something the matter in here?" a female voice questioned.
Naomi turned herself invisible while Ms. Francine was talking with her mother. Naomi then crawled out of her bedroom window with her gecko gloves to open Mytyl's bedroom window. Naomi then triple forward flipped over Mytyl's head before turning herself visible again. As soon as her sister applauded, Naomi clasped her hands around Mytyl's.
"Sh! Ms. Francine and mom are in my room! I'm in so much trouble! So, please, no more clapping." Naomi whispered.
Mytyl nodded before getting her tablet.
'So, watcha been doin?' Mytyl smirked.
Nothin much really. How about you?" Naomi spoke.
Suddenly, the power went off. Then, the sky turned green and a white light close to the ground shone outside that was circular.
"Naomi!? Where are you!?" A female voice yelled.
"I'm with Mytyl!" Naomi hollered back.
Nori then walked into the room holding an oil lamp.
"Are you two alright?" Nori asked.
"Yeah." Naomi responded.
"I wonder what happened to the solar generator." Nori muttered.
"We've been hit by a solar flare. That's what happens when plasma from the sun comes in contact with Earth's atmosphere. They can knock out communications for miles. Electricity is down for probably kilometers away.
I can also see the Northern Lights here which also indicates, along with the green sky, that we've been struck with a solar flare." Naomi elucidated.
Mytyl then looked down at her tablet.
"Sorry sis, but any electronic devices, even those that weren't plugged in, even Lola, was taken out just now." Naomi sighed.
Mytyl looked down in disappointment.
"I've got an idea. Whenever you want to tell me something, whistle. And put this com into one of your ears. The com runs on microwave waves. They're so low on the wave spectrum that the plasma couldn't stop the coms from working.
So, since I trust Copen taught you morse code while I was gone. Whistle and I'll talk regularly back to you. I'm going help Nori check out the generator. By the way Nori, can I ask something crazy?" Naomi spoke.
"Of course." Nori replied.
"Is Copen watching Arson?" Naomi wondered.
Nori nodded.
"Perfect. Hopefully they can make sure the other person doesn't do something too stupid." Naomi commented.
Nori and Naomi then went down to the basement.
"Thank goodness this isn't a hospital with an ICU. If it was, several people would've died." Naomi thought aloud before kneeling down to look at the generator.
"Well, nothing seems wrong with the outside. But that doesn't mean everything's fine. I'd better check the inside, just in case." Naomi muttered to herself while taking the cover panel off the generator.
Naomi then looked at the retractable solar panels and instantly noticed the issue.
"I found the problem. It looks like it was somehow burnt like toast. It's black and has some jagged pattern. But it's a little weird that the generator has this pattern on it. Especially considering nothing got in here. It's possible that it's sabotage from someone within our own ranks." Naomi notified.
"Is there anything you can do about it?" Nori questioned.
I've got an idea, but it's a doozy." Naomi responded.
"What do you mean what am I doing here!? That's what I'm supposed to be asking you! Not vice versa!" Copen shouted angrily.
"And before you ask, no this has nothing to do with them. I'm going out and see if anyone's selling solar panels." Naomi notified.
Naomi then went upstairs and in front of the doors. But then she remembered to tell Mytyl.
"Hey, I'm going buy solar panels. You want something?" Naomi spoke.
Mytyl whistled 'A birthday present.'
"Your birthday is still 5 days away, so no." Naomi commented.
Naomi then walked out of the sanatorium. 6 feet from the sanatorium, Naomi heard a whirring sound. Naomi then looked to her right and up to see a green Mantis tank. Naomi instantly regretted looking up because the Mantis blinded her with its light.
The Mantis then attacked Naomi with a barrage of missiles. Naomi managed to block most of them with her Prevasion. However, Naomi's EP went down to zero as the last missile hit her square in the chest.
"Augh!" Naomi cried as she flew through the air 5 feet up and 4 feet away from the Mantis.
Naomi then got up and grabbed the center of her chest which was hit and bleeding.
"So, you wanna play hard ball huh? So be it. Luxcailbur! Break this metal monster!" Naomi smirked.
Naomi tried using Luxcalibur, only to be more out of breath and fall to her knees. Back with the Lyoko group, they were at Kadic eating dinner.
"So, that was a pretty crazy story." Jeremy though aloud.
"Tell me about it." Ulrich agreed.
"Wait, what if our parents still work for them?" Yumi questioned.
"It's possible." Yumi added.
"Now that you mention it, I've never known what job my dad does for a living." Odd noticed.
Everyone nodded and murmured their agreements.
"Well then, it's decided. When the time for our summer vacation comes, we'll ask our parents what their jobs are." Jeremy confirmed.
Immediately afterwards, William showed up with his tray.
"Can I sit with you guys?" William greeted.
"Um, sure." Yumi stuttered.
"Thanks. Hey, did you guys see the new science teacher?" William spoke.
"The one that looked like Mr. Delmas?" Odd wondered.
William shook his head.
"There's another one. He's got white hair and red eyes." William answered.
"I wonder what happened to Mr. Schaeffer." Yumi pondered aloud.
"Apparently something was found out about him and he's been arrested." William informed.
"What!?" Aelita shrieked.
William nodded.
"they say he was arrested for the illegal sole possession of a supercomputer." William responded.
"I didn't even know that was a thing." Ulrich commented.
