Naomi then remembered the group initiated a return to the past. However, before she could video call, Jeremy already initiated one.
"Sorry, we didn't have a choice but to use the return trip." Jeremy apologized.
Naomi shook her head.
"I'm actually eternally grateful that did." Naomi beamed.
"Really? How so?" Jeremy wondered.
"First, we got hit by a solar flare. Second, that caused our solar powered generator for the building and Lola's charger to go out. Third, turns out the solar generator was sabotaged. Four and finally, the Fazent outside that landed a critical hit on me left.
Luckily my dad wasn't here, he would flip out. I wonder where he went." Naomi notified.
"Have you tried our school?" Yumi pondered aloud.
"Huh? What are you talking about Yumi?" Naomi queried.
"Does he have white hair and red eyes?" Yumi questioned.
"And a white lab coat?" Ulrich added.
"Also tan pants and black shoes?" Odd commented.
Naomi's jaw dropped.
"So he was there. I'm gonna have to let you go Jeremy. I'm going to try and see who sabotaged the generator." Naomi finished before ending the call on her end.
Naomi then went to the roof after using her Skytether Band+ to jump before entering the vent shafts 15 minutes before the unknown perpetrator sabotaged the generator at 10:00 P.M. When she reached the generator, Naomi saw someone she never saw out of all the time she was at the sanatorium.
The man had black hair, blue eyes and the standard uniform. Naomi noticed Xana's sign in the person's eyes. Naomi jumped onto Xana and used her Ichor Septima in an attempt to drown Xana or turn him into extinguished smoke. But Xana then electrocuted the water. That increased both Xana and Naomi's Azure Striker Septima. However, Xana exerted himself and his Septima so much that he died first. Naomi then stopped using her Hydro Pressure Septima.
Naomi then went to fight the Mantis. Copen went outside immediately after and saw Naomi fighting the Mantis before going himself. Mytyl was watching the chaos unfold from her bedroom window right next to her bed. Naomi was the distraction while Copen was the attacker.
All Naomi had to do was run at full speed. Copen was trying his best to tag and flash the Mantis. Naomi tagged twice and flashed. Then, the mantis was down. Suddenly, the sky turned green.
"Kay, at least the generator didn't go out and the Mantis is done with." Naomi smiled.
"Naomi's watch then rang.
"Hello?" Naomi greeted.
"Have you heard of the 'Star Dragon'?" Asimov questioned.
"No." Naomi answered.
"the Star Dragon is a Sumeragi satellite with military uses. It's supposed to be disguised as a weather satellite. However, we recently received data showing the satellite is equipped with a military grade laser. Your new job is to get it to target one of the Sumeragi's facilities so we can rove to the public that the Sumeragi's the real threat, not us." Moniqa elucidated.
"Wait, why don't we just take control of it. That way, we can use it whenever we want? Not to mention the Sumeragi won't be able to use it on us or anyone else ever again. Besides, Zeno's right. The only way people will view us is criminals, no matter what." Naomi commented.
Suddenly, Naomi's watch rang again
"I swear one day I'm gonna go on vacation. Away from all my friends and family, and turn off all of my communications." Naomi muttered before answering the call.
"Um, Naomi?" Jeremy stuttered.
"Yeah?" Naomi answered.
"We have a new teacher. And he kind of looks like an older version of your brother." Jeremy informed.
Naomi then cancelled the call before angrily throwing her watch across the wall.
"Now I figure it out." Naomi ranted.
"Now, I'm still surprised she doesn't go into overdrive." Nori whispered.
"I couldn't agree more." Ms. Francine added.
