"I guess this is my life now." Naomi sighed.

"So, what do you think?" Zeno smiled.

"I'm bored, that's what I think." Naomi answered.

"Well you won't have to be bored for long because your ride's here." Moniqa informed.

Naomi and Gunvolt then left.

"So, do you have any weapons?" Naomi queried.

"The DT Leader is my gun, it's also the only other weapon I have besides my Septima." Gunvolt elucidated.

"I hope you don't mind me asking but does your gun function normally or does your Septima affect it somehow?" Naomi questioned.

"I use my hair around the Bullits since it conducts electricity from my Azure Striker Septima." Gunvolt responded.

Naomi then noticed it was all a dream and tried to wake up. However, there was gunshots heard and one of the car's tires went flat.

"Guess we're going to have to get out and fight." Naomi supposed.

What Naomi didn't know was the exhaustion was really from the sickness that only affected Adepts and it had a fatality rate of 80%. She was also having a fever dream.

Naomi and Gunvolt started shooting at the other people. Back at QUILL HQ, Moniqa was adding some information Naomi retrieved from the mission. Just then someone called.

"Hello?" Moniqa greeted.

"Hey Moniqa, I'm going see Naomi. Earlier she got in a fight with Tami who was my girlfriend. Turns out she worked for the Sumeragi and Naomi killed her. She wanted to tell me something but said she'd be wasting her breath and time with it.

I just want to make sure she isn't mad at me and to see what she was going to say." Arson notified.

"Okay, after that you can go back home and rest. No more cases or surprise missions for now." Moniqa answered.

"Will do. Bye." Arson finished before ending the call and trying to find directions to the sanatorium

However, when Arson looked it up, there was absolutely no search results.

"Weird, I guess I'll have to call Naomi and see if she wouldn't mind talking or give me directions." Arson pondered while dialing Naomi's phone.

Naomi's phone started ringing but she couldn't answer it. After three rings Arson turned his phone off before putting it in his front left pocket.

"Well I guess I can't call her. Maybe I can intercept her com and see if that works." Arson theorized.

Arson then took out his com and placed it at the radio signal that Naomi's com worked on. Still nothing.

"Darn it. She's probably looking something up." Arson guessed.

Arson then decided to take a walk back to his home. However, halfway to his home, he noticed something. It was a white corner of a building that stood at 28 feet. It had a window on the top and a window on the bottom.

"That's strange. I've walked by here so many times yet I've never seen this building before." Arson muttered.

Arson decided to walk off the path between the trees to get a closer look. As soon as he got up close, he remembered what it was.

"Oh thank gosh! I didn't know it was here! Now I can see if Naomi's doing alright since she wouldn't call me earlier." Arson smiled before walking towards the sanatorium and knocking on the door thrice.

Nori then opened the door.

"Are you here to see Naomi? If so she's sleeping right now." Nori spoke.

Just then Ms. Francine walked towards Nori.

"I'm afraid she's in critical condition and being quarantined." Ms. Francine informed.

"What!?" Arson panicked.
