"Apparently she's caught some bizarre sickness the Sumeragi created.
She fell asleep but won't wake up." Ms. Francine notified before Arson interrupted her.
"She's dead!?" Arson screamed.
"I was about to say she has a heartbeat, but the most bizarre thing is when she has a heartbeat, she's absolutely unresponsive." Ms. Francine added.
"H-hold on. I know what the sickness is!" Arson spoke.
"What is it!?" Ms. Francine questioned.
"It's based off a disease from the Amazon. It has an eighty percent fatality rate and attacks a gene that allows people to have Septima's. Also known as the Adept gene. I think the only way to save Naomi would be to remove her adept gene or genes depending." Arson explained.
"Well, I think we'll have to bring her to a Sumeragi facility that isn't this one because we don't have any tools for surgery here." Ms. Francine sighed.
Lola notified the Lyoko group about what was going on.
"We have another problem guys! This one just might be worse than the Fazent!" Lola spoke.
"What's the problem?" Jeremy asked.
"Naomi got the sickness from the Sumeragi!" Lola notified.
"How critical is her condition?" Yumi queried.
"ICU level bad. Where we are is a place for patients to recover, not for operations. It's a sanatorium, not a hospital." Lola replied.
"Naomi needs an operation done?" Aelita questioned.
"But we'd have to take her to a Sumeragi hospital because they specialize in Adepts. Or one of their experimentation facilities. I know the perfect thing to do!" Lola spoke.
"What is it?" Odd inqueried.
"I was going to say that Naomi could be brought there and someone could say she was a new test subject but she's in their database and she looks so unique that everyone will know who she is. So we might have no choice but to try to do the surgery here.
But there is one other option, though its extremely dangerous." Lola elucidated.
"We're listening." Ulrich notified.
"Are you sure about this?" Lola wondered.
"One hundred percent all the way." Ulrich confirmed.
"Someone will have to steal some medicine from the Sumeragi's Pharma Lab." Lola explained.
"Why would they have medicine for it if they want all Adepts to die? Not to mention their test subjects could die and the Adept genes they use would be destroyed. Most likely resulting in the Sumeragi's downfall." Jeremy rambled.
"A few people that work for the Sumeragi are Adepts, such as Viper, Carrera, Stratos who'll be at the Pharma Lab most likely, Jota, Merak, Nova and Elise. Not to mention Asimov. So they'd need cure. Naomi's having a seizure and just got her pulse back. That's a relief that she isn't using the resurrection ability anymore from Elise's Rebirth Septima.
To an extent the Rebirth Septima kills her because it's used on dead people. She can use it as long as she has EP. Well I'm going to see if I can help Naomi. We can only do so much to keep her alive. Naomi gets sick incredibly easy. Something this severe is sure to kill her." Lola spoke before ending the call.
Xana then teleported to the Lyoko group.
"It's best to tell Arson so he can tell Asimov. I know what Lola meant about him working for the Sumeragi. I'll tell you later after you tell Arson what you just heard. I was checking on Naomi. She looks awful. You have to hurry and call so we can go get that medicine. Arson's number is triple three, four three six, eight four six eight." Xana informed.
Jeremy then called Arson's cell phone.
"Hello?" Arson greeted.
"We need your help to cure Naomi-" Jeremy answered before being cut off by Arson.
"I'm standing outside the sanatorium. Two people working here just told me Naomi fell asleep and won't wake up. Not to mention anytime she has her heartbeat back, she's absolutely unresponsive before going back inside after someone yelled something about Naomi having a seizure." Arson interjected.
