"Why are you doing this?" Gunvolt pondered aloud.

"Since you think humans and Adepts can live in peace together, you have to die." Teseo replied before Gunvolt shot him one last time and a book replaced Teseo and burned with a purple flame from the bottom up.

Gunvolt then pressed a finger to his com.

"I'm done here, can you teleport me back to H!?" Gunvolt spoke.

"Sure thing, I'll go with ya. We'll definitely have to make a report on this." Naomi replied before turning to the Lyoko team.

"Thanks a ton guys. You don't know how much your help means to me. It's so nice to know there's some people in the world you can trust." Naomi smiled.

"We're happy to help. An enemy of the world is an enemy of ours." Jeremy beamed.

"Well, I promised GV I'd teleport him back to HQ and you guys back to Kadic. So I'll see you guys later, bye." Naomi finished before teleporting herself and Gunvolt back to QUILL HQ.

"Well, I'd better tell the group back in France that it's alright. See ya!" Naomi smiled before teleporting herself to see the gang at Kadic.

"Hey guys, don't worry, GV's okay. How are you guys doing?" Naomi spoke.

"We're all right, nothing happened while you were gone." Odd greeted.

"That's a relief, hopefully other than what happened just a second ago it'll be a completely eventless day." Naomi hoped.

"Yeah, we just might not have another Mantis pop out of the woodwork." Odd agreed.

"Well, I'm going home before I get in trouble for not eating or anything, bye." Naomi finished before teleporting home.

Naomi noticed Mytyl was in her room. So Naomi decided to grab Mytyl from behind before lifting her up and spinning her around.

"And what were you up to being in my room huh?" Naomi interrogated.

"I, was, hoping, to, leave, you, a, present, before, you, came, back, from, your, mission. Now, can, you, please, put, me, down?" Mytyl answered shakily.

"Oh, sorry!" Naomi apologized before putting Mytyl down and releasing her.

Naomi and Mytyl then sat down on Naomi's bed.

"So, do yow anna talk about something" Naomi questioned.

"Why are you working for QUILL?" Mytyl queried.

"Well, um, ya see, so, the thing is…" Naomi droned.

"You want me to explain Naomi?" Lola offered.

"Thanks." Naomi thanked.

"Adepts aren't allowed to have jobs. But QUILL was started by an Adept so Naomi can work there. The Sumeragi doesn't treat their Adept employees well so we don't like them." Lola explained.

"How do you know they don't treat their employees well?" Mytyl inqueried.

"I was one of their employees." Naomi admitted.

"What!?" Lola and Mytyl shrieked.

"I'll be right back, Copen will definitely wanna hear this." Naomi commented before going to search for her brother.

Naomi found Copen talking to Nori while repairing his gun.

"Hey, um, can I talk to you?" Naomi asked.

"Oh, sure, I just have to finish repairing this first." Copen answered before Naomi nodded and went back upstairs.

"That was a little peculiar don't you think?" Nori pondered aloud.

"What are you talking about?" Copen wondered.

"Naomi seemed a little out of sorts just now. I'm surprised you didn't notice she had her head down and her hands behind her back." Nori informed.

"I was too busy working to notice." Copen commented.

"Of course you were." Nori sneered.

"What do you mean by that?" Copen interrogated.

"Emotions aren't exactly your strong suit. And the only emotion you ever display is anger." Nori explained.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Copen denied.

"See, you're doing it again. I understand the life you live and the things you're doing aren't exactly things to smile about. But if you stop trying to kill Adepts, you'll be a lot happier than you are now, if you are at all. You can just leave it to Naomi and QUILL." Nori added.

Copen shook his head.

"I promised I wouldn't rest until the last Adept dies." Copen informed.

"Well, if you want all adepts dead you'll have to kill Naomi." Nori notified.

"Well, I'm going see about what she wanted to tell me." Copen informed before grabbing his gun and leaving the room.

"I wonder what's taking him so long." Naomi yawned.

"Maybe he already knows what you wanted to tell him and he thought it was a waste of time to come." Lola remarked.

"I'd think of what as a waste of time?" Copen questioned.

"Oh, hey! There you are! I was afraid you wouldn't show." Naomi teased.

"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?" Copen queried before leaning against the wall to the left of Naomi's bedroom door.

"So, Lola, would you mind helping if I need it? If you don't mind that is." Naomi spoke.

"Of course!" Lola smiled.

"So, you know about the Sumeragi right?" Naomi interrogated.

"Yeah, but what's that got o do with anything?" Copen wondered.

"I, I used to work for the Sumeragi." Naomi stuttered nervously.

Copen then grabbed his gun out of its holster and aimed it at Naomi. Naomi waved her hands in front of her rapidly.

"Calm down! I was forced to work for them! I'm a lab created Adept!" Naomi exclaimed.

"W, what?" Copen pondered aloud.

"It's true. I was created to be a test subject for Project Gunvolt. The only reason I'm not locked up where Elise was is because since mom and dad's DNA was used I think that's the only reason I'm here." Naomi explained.

"Out of pity?" Cope questioned.

Naomi nodded.

"Still wanna kill me?" Naomi queried.

Copen shook his head before putting his gun back in its holster.

"Now all of you have to swear on your lives not to tell anybody else. Especially not mom and dad. Otherwise we'll all be dead." Naomi notified.

"We promise." Copen agreed.

"Alright, now, what should we do now?" Naomi wondered.

"Maybe we could talk about that giant version of Lola?" Copen recommended.

"When was that?" Mytyl queried.

"Just now." Naomi responded.

"What was it like?" Mytyl questioned.

"One of the weirdest and most bizarre things I've ever seen." Naomi answered.

Suddenly, the sanatorium started to shake.
