"Let's get to the basement." Copen suggested.
'Wait, this can't be an earthquake, we're right next to a volcano. Eoh boy, this can't be good.' Naomi though before running up the stairs and outside.
Naomi then looked up and saw what looked like a white faced monster which appeared to have 6 antlers, a sword blade for its left arm, 4 black eyes of Xana on its left arm with a white background, the same pattern eye on its face as well and it had an appearance that resembled a rock monster with lava flowing through it.
Naomi could only look up at the monster in front of her and gawk.
"I did not create that I swear." Xana commented.
"Do you think William might've stolen some of your power to create monsters?" Naomi questioned.
"It's possible, but mainly considering the fact that I haven't tested my ability to create monsters for a little while I doubt it." Xana answered.
"Do you at least have any idea on how we're supposed to beat it?" Naomi asked.
"I'll fight it while you distract it and attack." Xana recommended.
Naomi squinted while looking at the Kolossus and noticed there was a dot above it as contrasted to its left shoulder. Suddenly, Naomi noticed a silver gleam near the dot.
"We've got company." Naomi panicked.
"Who is it?" Xana worried.
"William." Naomi snarled.
"I don't understand, I'm not controlling him anymore and I didn't create that monster." Xana denied.
"Well I'm seriously doubting that." Naomi protested.
"Why's that?" Xana queried.
"Because you just said who is it? That glimmer from William's sword could've been from Asroc's Galette Krone." Naomi responded.
"Oh really? Then how'd you know it was William?" Xana retorted.
"Because the glimmer showed the length of the sword's blade which wasn't round. If it was it would've indicated the Galette Krone was still around." Naomi elucidated.
"What about his armor? Or the fact that Asroc or anybody else's armor has a shine to it?" Xana interrogated.
"Eoh boy, you're right, those red highlights could mean Viper's up there." Naomi admitted.
"Yeah, that silver could be his arm." Ana agreed.
"So, whadda ya say? We just back away slowly and pretend this didn't happen?" Naomi supposed.
"You know we can't do that or else everyone in the sanatorium will die right?" Xana queried.
"That's true. I'll call the others." Naomi surrendered before calling Odd.
"So, Naomi, are we still up for our date Thursday?" Odd teased.
"Come on Odd quit the joking! There's a Kolossus and William! Wait, what date?" Naomi answered.
"I'll tell Ulrich." Odd notified before hanging up.
"I swear he's more bananas than the time Sissi said yellow was the trend color." Naomi laughed before calling Yumi.
"Hello?" Yumi greeted.
"Hey Yumi, William's near my home along with the Kolossus and I could use some help." Naomi informed.
"I'm on my way." Yumi responded before ending the call.
Naomi proceeded to call Ulrich.
"Hi, you've reached the voicemail of Ulrich Stern. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can." The voicemail replayed before beeping.
"Hey Ulrich, it's Naomi, Xana and I are in front of my house trying to fight William and the Kolossus so if you could get here we'd really appreciate it, bye." Naomi spoke before turning off her watch.
"Don't you think we should teleport them here?" Xana suggested.
"But they could be busy." Naomi doubted.
"They said they'd help, well, except Ulrich of course cause there's no response from him yet." Xana notified.
Naomi then teleported Yumi, Aelita and odd.
"What date?" Naomi interrogated.
"Well, couples usually take time out of their busy life to spend some time with each other." Odd explained.
"Well then I'm sorry but I have no choice but to break up with you then. Sorry Odd." Naomi sighed.
Odd's jaw dropped.
"What!?" Odd cried before the Kolossus threw its fist down at the ground between Odd and Naomi.
"Less talking and more attacking guys." Xana commented.
Naomi then climbed up the Kolossus fist to get to William on its left shoulder. However, William didn't attack Naomi. So she decided to attack instead by shooting and aiming for William who used his sword to deflect the Bullit which went through Mytyl's bedroom window.
Naomi immediately teleported herself to Mytyl's room, relieved to see the Bullit was stuck in the wall. Naomi then teleported outside in front of William.
"You're so going to pay for that!" Naomi yelled furiously before going into Overdrive.
"You can't kill William! It's the real one!" Yumi shouted.
"I won't be killing him! I'll just be devirtualizing him!" Naomi hollered before using her claws to drain his life points.
"I'll call Jeremy with y headset so we can tell him about William." Naomi notified before putting her headset on and calling Jeremy.
"So, is William still on Lyoko or what?" Naomi queried.
"Ah!" Jeremy shouted before falling out of his chair.
"It's that bad huh?" Naomi pondered aloud.
"It's not that. It's just that we saw him at school." Jeremy explained.
"Well then you've been bamboozled by Xana because the Kolossus is here as well." Naomi remarked.
"I decided to virtualize them here to help." Xana elucidated.
"So, that wasn't the real William?" Naomi asked.
"Nope." Xana responded.
"Jeremy, you'll still need to check the scanners just in case Xana decided to pull a fast one." Naomi spoke.
So, Jeremy got up from the interface and went down to the scanners room and was surprised to see William standing near the center scanner.
"What's going on here?" Jeremy wondered.
"That's exactly what I'm thinking. First thing, I was listening to the Subdigitals in my dorm, the next thing that happened was I ended up here." William notified.
"Come on, we have to get back to the interface." Jeremy spoke before him and William got into the elevator and reached the interface.
"Hey Naomi, it's Jeremy. You were right, William's here with me." Jeremy informed.
"Why did you lie to me Xana?" Naomi queried.
"Can't a guy just try to help?" Xana snarled.
"Yeah, but you could've hurt somebody in the process and I thought the Kolossus was the enemy!" Naomi shrieked.
"Do it." Xana whispered.
The Kolossus then grabbed Naomi in its hand and the blade part of its arm was a millimeter from her throat.
"Any last words?" Xana smirked.
Naomi shook her head before teleporting Xana to the Digital Sea along with the Kolossus and Naomi had teleported herself to the ground.
"I can't believe he did that! Jeremy, you need to shut off the Supercomputer now before things get worse!" Naomi cried.
Jeremy then looked at William.
"Hey William, I need you to shut down the Supercomputer and break the handle so nobody can reactivate the computer and repeat our mistakes." Jeremy spoke.
William nodded before going to the lift and heading for the Supercomputer. William did as Jeremy asked. However, the Supercomputer didn't turn off. William then went back to Jeremy and told him what happened.
"But, that can't be right, unless, Xana's still alive!" Jeremy spoke.
Suddenly, a menacing laughter could be heard coming from the interface.
"You fools thought you could eliminate me that easily? While I took control of Naomi, I also took her keys to Lyoko! Including the keys to areas of the computer once considered forbidden to me." Xana mocked.
"I'll call Aelita." Naomi notified before attempting to call Aelita from her headset.
Suddenly, Xana came out of Naomi's headset and coiled around her. Naomi then realized she couldn't move.
"And now someone else will have to call Aelita." Naomi growled.
"I'll do it." Jeremy informed.
"I don't think so." Xana laughed.
"You can only stop one of us, you can't stop us both." Naomi remarked.
Xana growled before returning to Lyoko.
"What's next!? Mega man's gonna attack!?" Naomi shouted.
"Yeah, tell that to the guy with a laser cannon for a hand!" Odd commented.
"Nokay, I'm gonna shut up now." Naomi sighed before using her Azure Striker Septima to get rid of the apparition.
"I called Aelita, she'll be here soon." Jeremy informed.
"Wha, what happened to me? Where am I?" Xana questioned.
"Don't act innocent with me! It won't work! Everyone knows you tried to kill me with the Kolossus!" Naomi snarled.
"I tried to kill you? That's impossible, I was trying to protect you." Xana denied.
"Naomi, we need you to bring Xana here, something might be wrong." Jeremy theorized.
"On it." Naomi confirmed before teleporting herself, Xana, Yumi and Odd to the scanners room in the factory before Xana went into the center scanner while the others went to Jeremy at the interface.
"Anything yet from Ulrich?" Yumi asked.
"Nothing to report." Jeremy replied.
"It's getting late I say we all get some sleep, Ulrich's probably in his dorm sulking or something so you can get the info out of him tomorrow." Naomi assured.
"Naomi's right, I'm going to bed. See you guys tomorrow." Jeremy agreed.
Naomi then teleported everyone home, including herself. Naomi then woke up at then in the morning to a chocolate muffin with chocolate chips with the muffin being the size of a beefsteak tomato and an eight ounce glass of milk.
"This more than makes up for missing dinner last night." Naomi smiled before eating her muffin and drinking her milk.
Naomi then decided to change into a crimson red long sleeve hooded shirt, red jeans and knee high crimson boots before teleporting herself to the factory. To Naomi's surprise however, nobody was there.
"Hey Xana, you here? I came to run that scan on ya." Naomi spoke.
The interface then turned on and Xana appeared onscreen.
"I'm here, let me materialize in the scanner." Xana answered before materializing in the center scanner.
"I'm starting the scan now." Naomi informed before starting the scan.
After seeing the results Naomi gasped and called Jeremy.
"Heya Einstein, I just ran the scan on Xana, there's a huge problem with him. You need to get the others and meet me at the factory ASAP!" Naomi panicked.
"We're on our way." Jeremy responded.
"Has anyone seen or heard from Ulrich yet?" Naomi worried.
"Not yet." Jeremy sighed.
"I'll go look for him while you and the others come here." Naomi suggested.
"Sounds good." Jeremy finished before ending the call.
Naomi then teleported herself to the forest. When Naomi was near the crossroads, she saw Ulrich and decided to prank him. So, Naomi put her hood over her head, went invisible and pulled Ulrich's hair. Ulrich then stood u and Naomi walked away. Naomi then made herself visible.
"Who are you?" Ulrich interrogated.
Naomi then pulled down her hood. Ulrich breathed a sigh of relief.
"You know Yumi and the others have been worried sick lookin for ya right?" Naomi pondered aloud.
"I could only suspect as much." Ulrich rambled.
"Did you go back to your dorm last night?" Naomi supposed.
Ulrich shook his head.
"Did you stay at the Hermitage then?" Naomi supposed.
"Yeah." Ulrich confirmed.
"You camped out in the backyard?" Naomi theorized.
"Guess again." Ulrich replied.
"Oh, you stayed in the study." Naomi understood.
"Bingo." Ulrich responded.
"But why?" Naomi wondered.
"All of this stuff with Xana, his connection to the Sumeragi, you and everything else. It's, it's driving me crazy." Ulrich explained.
"I think it's getting to everybody. Mainly because you didn't know about the Sumeragi before meeting me so you and the others thought you knew everything about Xana, Franz Hopper and the like. Which is making you question your sanity and ultimately your relationship with Yumi right?" Naomi added.
"How'd you know?" Ulrich questioned.
"Every teen to have existed on this Earth pretty much has dealt with an identity crisis, if not all of em. You'll also have a midlife crisis when you're thirty." Naomi responded.
"That doesn't sound any better." Ulrich muttered.
"Come on man, stop letting things get the better of ya. You'll die of stress long before thirty if ya keep goin the way ya are." Naomi remarked.
Ulrich sighed.
"Now come on, you've gotta talk ta Yumi before things get bad. Besides, a plus side to all of this is that working together both on Lyoko and in the real world has strengthened the bond between you two." Naomi smiled.
So, Ulrich and Naomi started walking back to Kadic. Halfway there, Ulrich asked Naomi a questioned.
"So, what did you mean back there about me asking Yumi out before things got bad?" Ulrich questioned.
"William." Naomi coughed.
"I see your point." Ulrich snarled.
"And here I was thinking you had some emotional growth." Naomi teased.
"So, what's it like? Working at QUILL I mean." Ulrich spoke.
"It's okay I guess." Naomi supposed.
"What makes you say that? I thought you liked the idea of a chase and action?" Ulrich commented.
"I do, it's just that we've got a human rookie I'm working with out on the field. I killed his girlfriend and yet he still keeps tryna flirt with me. I don't like boys. I only told Odd I'd date him to prove the point that he's gotta stop cheating, a normal hairstyle, redo his wardrobe and buy cologne." Naomi elucidated.
"Lemme guess, he's five foot ten with blond hair, a green eye on his left and a blue on his right?" Ulrich guessed.
"Yeah, how'd ya know?" Naomi wondered.
"Hey." Arson greeted.
"Sheet!" Naomi exclaimed before jumping up and turning around to see Arson.
"What are you doing here Arson? Aren't you supposed to be updating your tinder ap or something?" Naomi growled.
"Actually, we've got a case." Arson answered.
"No I'm not takin back the wait what case?" Naomi remarked.
