"The one to eliminate Nova with that poison Bullit, or did you forget already?" Arson reminded.
"Yeah, I kinda did actually." Naomi admitted.
"We'd better get going." Arson suggested.
"Can you guys come?" Naomi begged.
"Sure, but why?" Jeremy queried.
"To make sure Nova doesn't make it out alive this time." Naomi answered.
"Sure." Jeremy agreed.
"Great, Jeremy, you can go to HQ while Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd will be coming with me." Naomi spoke.
So, Naomi teleported everyone except Jeremy to Firmament after making everyone, excluding Jeremy, invisible.
"There's Nova." Naomi whispered.
Everyone looked to see Nova looking down at Earth.
"How are we going to get him?" Odd pondered aloud.
"I'll get him from behind, you guys surround him at all angles." Naomi replied before standing behind Nova.
Naomi then shot Nova with a Bullit she 'borrowed' from Copen to disable Nova from using his Septima while the poison took its course.
"And that's that." Naomi smiled before teleporting herself back to QUILL HQ and teleporting Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd back to Kadic.
"Mission's done. I used a different type of Bullit that disenabled his psychokinesis Septima. And then I poisoned him." Naomi greeted.
"Hopefully that'll displace the Sumeragi a little so we can eliminate the delegates next." Zeno hoped.
"The who?" Naomi wondered.
"The Sumeragi has delegates who are at the forefront of everything the Sumeragi does. So if we take them out, there'll be so much turmoil the Sumeragi won't exist anymore hopefully." Zeno elucidated.
"So, when's that mission?" Naomi queried.
"It's started already." Moniqa notified.
"What!?" Naomi and Zeno exclaimed.
"You might want to get a move on Naomi. As for you Zeno, you, Arson and GV will be accompanying Naomi." Moniqa informed.
"Please tell me we don't have to go the Sumeragi office." Naomi whined.
"Well where else are they gonna be? An alleyway?" Zeno joked.
"Ha ha not funny." Naomi sneered before teleporting herself, Zeno, Arson and Gunvolt to the meeting room on the 7th floor. None of the delegates were there yet. So, Naomi took her sword which transformed into a scythe before a chain extended and Naomi cut the blade of the scythe into the ceiling before being lifted up above the table.
"You guys get behind the chairs and have your weapons ready." Naomi commanded.
The boys each got behind a chair.
"I don't have a weapon." Arson remembered.
"Here, you can borrow mine." Zeno offered before handing Arson his TOPO gun.
"Thanks." Arson thanked.
"If the boss says yeah, you can have it." Zeno added.
"Cool." Arson commented.
Naomi heard the doorknob start to rattle so she turned herself and the boys invisible. Suddenly, the Sumeragi delegates entered the room. The first one had blond hair and blue eyes. The one had black hair, black glasses and green eyes.
The third delegate had brown hair and light brown eyes. They were all wearing Sumeragi uniforms but different color ties. The first delegate was wearing a blue tie while the second delegate was wearing a purple tie and the third delegate was wearing a red tie. The first delegate was 5'6 and had a slender build.
The second delegate was 5'5 and had a slightly overweight appearance. The third delegate was 5'7 and had a slightly muscular form. After sitting down, the second delegate spoke.
"The threat caused by Naomi is growing rapidly. How should we deal with the threat?" the third delegate spoke.
"We've tried holding her allies hostage, holding her hostage, recapturing her, but nothing's worked. Even infecting her was useless." The first delegate sighed.
"That was only because her allies helped get her the medicine!" the third delegate scoffed.
"So that's what we'll do. We'll hold her allies hostage, hold Naomi hostage, kill her allies in front of her to show her she has no hope and we'll place new nanobots that will only control her mind." The second delegate concluded.
Naomi then nodded which was the signal for the boys o shoot. Soon after, the delegates were dead.
"Great job guys, now let's get bac to HQ before we get found." Naomi cheered before teleporting herself, Arson, Zeno and Gunvolt back to HQ.
"That plan of theirs probably would've worked." Zeno supposed.
"It wouldn't have worked in the least." Naomi laughed.
"Yo boss, is it okay if I give Arson my backup gun since he doesn't have a weapon?" Zeno wondered.
"Only if he doesn't lose it." Asimov agreed.
"Awesome." Zeno beamed before walking over to Arson and giving him his TOPO gun.
"Seriously? I can have it?" Arson queried.
"Only if you promise to take care of it." Zeno informed.
"I promise." Arson smiled.
Then Arson heard Moniqa laugh and noticed Naomi was laughing too.
"I'm telling you man you've got no chance with her. She keeps her heart locked tighter than Fort Knox." Zeno notified.
"We'll see about that." Arson retorted before walking over to Naomi while Moniqa walked over to Zeno to ask him about the mission.
"Oh no not you again." Naomi sneered.
"So, is there any other reason behind you killing Tami than the fact that she worked for the Sumeragi?" Arson asked.
"You're an idiot, the only reason I killed Tami was because she was working for the Sumeragi." Naomi answered.
"You can attempt to lie all you want, but deep down, you know you love me." Arson laughed.
"I guess you're right, but that's only because I'd love to kill you." Naomi teased.
"What!? Why!?" Arson exclaimed.
"Because you think I'm attracted to you and I have no interest in finding companionship. Especially not with someone as hot headed and stubborn as you. If I was I'd still have work to do which would make the relationship hard to maintain. And besides, I'm an Adept and you're a human. So, we're forbidden to be together anyways." Naomi elucidated before walking off.
Arson was slack jawed. Zeno noticed this and walked over to Arson.
"I warned ya man." Zeno commented.
"That can't be right, maybe she cloned herself." Arson denied.
"Could be. When Naomi makes a clone of herself it's impossible to tell if it's really her or not. Heck, the real Naomi could be dead and that's just a clone of her still living and we'd never know." Zeno informed.
"That's cool." Arson commented.
"And I can do it with other people too so I could kill you and have your clone stay away from me while nobody would notice a difference." Naomi smiled.
"So, did you really kill his girlfriend?" Zeno queried.
"Yeah, he was dating Tami, AKA, the woman wolverine." Naomi replied.
"Ya'd think he'd ran away in terror or something." Zeno supposed.
"I said the exact same thing. The other day I went to check on GV and Joule then Arson decided to tag along with me. Not long after we got there Tami called him so I knocked him out with a bock. If you don't believe me you could go ask GV." Naomi explained.
Zeno waved his hands.
"Nah, I believe ya, it's just and odd sounding story." Zeno protested.
