Back at the new S-FIT building, Naomi was on the fifth floor staring at Nova. Naomi then called Moniqa.
"Did you find something Naomi?" Moniqa queried.
"Nova's still alive. I just hope the delegates aren't too." Naomi answered.
Back with Yumi, she just reached the living room in her house before going into the dining room to greet her parents and younger brother.
"Yumi, we need to talk." Takeo notified.
"Sure, um, what about exactly?" Yumi replied.
"You have to stop hanging around Naomi and Lyoko. It's extremely dangerous." Akiko begged.
"I can't. We've found out what's wrong with Xana and we know how to return him back to normal. We can have a new ally in our fight against the Sumeragi. Why are you back early?" Yumi protested.
"We came back as soon as we saw an image of your Lyoko avatar fighting Sumeragi soldiers." Akito replied.
Soon, Naomi reached the 8th and final floor before teleporting herself to the right of Yumi.
"It's fine Yumi, but we've got to deal with the Sumeragi and some other threats. I understand that you're just being good parents but Yumi needs to be her own person and live a little. She's also helping not just me but other people get a chance at a normal life." Naomi lectured.
"I suppose you're right Naomi, I apologize Yumi. It's just that your mother and I worry about you. All that we ask is you stay safe." Takeo apologized.
"I will." Yumi promised.
"You can get some sleep. I think I'll need some too. I went to all eight floors and lemme tell ya it ain't easy. I think Mount Everest would've been better." Naomi added.
"You teleported." Yumi laughed.
"You can tease me later I'm goin to bed, see ya." Naomi remarked before teleporting herself to bed and going to sleep.
When Naomi got up in the morning, she saw four triangles of buttered toast with grape jelly and a glass of water which she happily ate before teleporting to QUILL HQ.
"Hey Zeno, did you beat that Mystic Mirrors game yet?" Naomi asked.
"I beat that last week. You wanna hear what happened?" Zeno answered.
"I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't interested. So, uh, yeah!" Naomi confirmed.
"Okay, so, after I got to the golden gate, there was this huge Doom Dragon boss. But I got out my trusty mystical mirror shard and? You okay Naomi? You look like you're choking." Zeno spoke.
"I'm fine, it's just that Zonda person took some of my Muse Septima during our last battle and wants to play a game with me where I have to fight some of their friends to get my Septima back. And it just so happens to be in mirror shards created by their Phantasm Mirror Septima." Naomi answered.
"Yikes." Zeno commented.
"Man, I can't wait to be at full power again." Naomi smiled.
"What's it like being at full power?" Zeno wondered.
"It's one of the best feelings, you feel like you're invincible and not even the Sumeragi can stop you." Naomi elucidated.
"Sounds nice." Zeno supposed.
"So, how do you feel now that you have one less gun?" Naomi pondered.
"Eh, I still feel the same, ya know?" Zeno answered.
"I wouldn't know I guess because I have different outfits which one has two weapons, one has none so I just use my Septima's and for my other one I have a sword that can morph into three other weapons." Naomi replied.
"So, ya know what happened on June fifteenth?" Zeno queried.
"I woke up from being sick and it was my birthday." Naomi responded.
"Aren't you a triplet?" Zeno questioned.
"Yeah, hey, um, can I ask something crazy?" Naomi asked.
"Sure." Zeno agreed.
"Um, so, I know there's no polite way to ask this. What do they do to Adepts in Italy?" Naomi asked nervously.
"Usually they're placed in jail to wait before being forced to work for the Sumeragi in Italy. It ain't fun man, lemme tell ya." Zeno elucidated.
"Is it okay if I ask what is was like working there?" Naomi queried.
"Nothing out of the ordinary really except that occasionally I'd get holiday break and a tiramisu sheet cake and some lady finger cookies during the work party that celebrated the day the Sumeragi conglomerate was initiated." Zeno replied.
"That's definitely outta the ordinary aight." Naomi remarked.
"I think ya need to work on your marksmanship skills a lil more." Zeno suggested.
"Why'd ya say that?" Naomi asked.
"Cause it looks like your license is outta date." Zeno answered.
Naomi looked at it and laughed.
"Jokes on you cause I gotta lifetime license." Naomi laughed.
"Seriously tho, I think ya need ta update your ID card." Zeno recommended.
Naomi looked at it and sure enough, it expired on her birthday.
"Dang it! How am I supposed to update it!?" Naomi hissed.
"Ya just gotta go to one of those driver's license renewal places. There's one in Hiroshima." Zeno replied.
"Is it a trustworthy spot for Adepts though?" Naomi interrogated.
"I wouldn't be tellin ya ta go if I wasn't sure." Zeno answered.
"Aight, I'll see ya later." Naomi added before leaving.
