Naomi teleported between Aelita and Ulrich. Naomi took one look at the monster and instantly thought Xana lost it. The monster had two long arms that acted as legs due to metal contraptions on the end of them.
It had a fleshy body, even by the standards of Xana's monsters. It also had organic tissue connecting the various parts of its body. The monster featured a tail with spines sticking out of both sides and the tail ending with what appeared to be a spear like tip that acted as the tails stinger. The monster's face was similar to that of a bird with the Xana emblem on the ivory face in blood red and a black beak.
Muscle tissue resembling that of a person's shown near its feet which looked like horse's hooves with two round claw tips of a birds toes on each foot. One on the front and the other on the back.
"I can't be the only one right now thinking Xana's memory's glitched." Naomi teased.
"You're not the only one Naomi. I'm sending you the teleporter to send you guys to Tyron's lab so we can check his scanners." Jeremy notified.
"Xana decommissioned them, so how exactly do you plan on usin us to check his scanners if they aren't there? Do you think we could just go to the Cortex and check on the camera's? Oh yeah, we can't! And why is that you ask? Well, it's because the lab and scanners are completely eradicated!" Naomi retorted.
It was then that Jeremy realized he forgot the lab was destroyed.
"Oh yeah, Xana destroyed the lab." Jeremy remembered.
Naomi face palmed herself.
"So, I say you put Aelita and I at the AI and robotics center and I just might let you guys off the hook." Naomi commented before jumping into the air and flying over the monster.
"Yo Einstein, I'm gonna give ya a visual. Just a quick warning though for I do, hold onto that chair." Naomi warned.
Jeremy did as Naomi said before the monster appeared on the interface screen.
"What is that!?" Jeremy panicked.
"That's some new monster, and my dad thinks Adepts are the real monsters." Naomi growled.
"What should we do now Einstein?" Ulrich worried.
"Well, I say first that we should take Naomi to a therapist." Odd suggested while using his hands to point to Naomi.
"I'm fine Odd." Naomi seethed.
"Just aim for the eye like you always do." Jeremy answered.
"Xana must be possessed again. So Jeremy, if you would be so kind as to teleport me to the AI and robotics center I'd be eternally grateful." Naomi pled.
"Why didn't I think of that before?" Jeremy wondered.
"What I'm wonderin is how the heck ya didn't thank of that for I did." Naomi remarked.
Jeremy then nervously rubbed the back of his head with his right hand.
"Alright, Ulrich and Yumi, since you two are the strongest on the team you guys will stay there to deal with the monster while Naomi, Aelita and Odd go to the AI and robotics center in Geneva." Jeremy notified.
"And when you guys are done here I'll teleport you two to us." Naomi informed.
"Alright, sounds like a plan." Jeremy agreed.
Naomi then teleported herself, Aelita and Odd to the international AI and robotics center. Naomi then made herself, Aelita and Odd invisible. Back with Yumi and Ulrich, they noticed that only Yumi could do damage to the monster. Soon after Yumi damaged it, the monster fled.
"It looks like the monster left Jeremy." Yumi notified.
"I noticed that when you tried to attack it that only Yumi could damage it and it seems that the monster has 180 life points. Apparently after Yumi attacked it she removed one third of its life points. We'll have to see if one person can attack it at once and who. From what I'm seeing one person can attack it at a time. Maybe it's just Yumi." Jeremy lectured.
"We'll follow it and see what happens next." Ulrich notified.
"I'll teleport everyone there to see who can attack it next." Naomi informed before teleporting herself, Aelita and Odd back to Sector 5.
"So Jeremy, can you lead us to the monster?" Aelita queried.
"No can do Aelita, it's not on my screen right now. Wait, I see it! It's directly above the core!" Jeremy answered.
"Let's move." Naomi commented before teleporting everyone to the core of Lyoko.
"I see the monster! It's on the ceiling of the room!" Jeremy notified.
"Looks like it's Odd's turn." Naomi guessed.
Odd then looked up at the monster, aimed for Xana's insignia on its face and fired a Laser Arrow. Suddenly, the monster noticed Odd before it fired a ball of lightning at him after swinging its tail.
Odd noticed the lightning and jumped out of the way while firing another shot.
"Hey Yumi, how many hits did you have to use to make the Scorpion leave?" Naomi asked.
"About 25." Yumi confirmed.
"You got that Jeremy?" Naomi wondered.
"Sure did, so I'll have to reload Odd two more times." Jeremy responded.
Odd then looked up at the Scorpion, aimed and fired a laser arrow at it. Suddenly, Naomi got an idea.
"Allow me to give you a boost." Naomi smirked before using her Muse Septima to enhance the power of the team's weapons.
However, the only weapon that did any damage was Odd's.
"Eat laser arrow!" Odd yelled before firing his other nine laser arrows.
"I'm reloading you Odd just hold on!" Jeremy notified.
"At least it's just one monster." Odd smiled.
Suddenly, the bellow of a Creeper was heard before 3 Creepers could be seen in the North, 2 in the South, one from the East and another was on the West side of the room. Naomi turned before giving Odd a death glare.
"I dare you to say something else dumb." Naomi snarled.
Odd nervously laughed. Naomi then flapped her wings so the titanium feathers killed all of the Creepers. Odd kept shooting until the Scorpion fled.
"So Jeremy, do you know where the monster is now?" Yumi wondered.
"It's at the entrance to the edge of the sector." Jeremy responded.
Everyone then ran to the Scorpion's location.
"Um, Einstein, I think your monster scanner has an error or something." Naomi remarked.
"Why's that?" Jeremy queried.
"Because the Scyphozoa's implanting something into the Scorpion." Naomi answered.
"But that's impossible; I'm not seeing the Scyphozoa on here." Jeremy denied.
"And that's exactly why I said the interface might be broken. I'll give you a visual." Naomi commented before displaying the Scorpion and the Scyphozoa onto the interface.
"That's strange, it's not showing you guys are in the sector." Jeremy informed.
"Maybe the Scorpion is cloaking everyone and everything around it. That way we would be following it into a trap." Naomi theorized.
"Well, one thing's for sure, we definitely walked into this trap." Ulrich commented before stabbing the Scorpion while doing a triple back flip in the air and landing on the ground.
"Looks like it's your time to shine Ulrich." Naomi added.
Ulrich then dodged a ball of lighting from the Scorpion's mouth before Naomi powered up Ulrich and his weapons specifically with her Muse Septima. As soon as the Scyphozoa was done with the implant, it left.
"You'd better hurry up and finish the job Ulrich cause I've got a hunch the Scyphozoa might be comin back soon for a second ground." Naomi worried.
So, Ulrich took 6 more shots at the Scorpion before it fled. Suddenly, Naomi heard that all too familiar squish sound before seeing the Scyphozoa behind Aelita, Naomi then tagged the Scyphozoa with the feathers from her wings and flashed the monster. Naomi drained the monster of all its life points before it disappeared.
"We'd better get to the Cortex. It'll be better to shut the computer down from the inside. And while Tyron is wonderin what happened, we'll tear down the computer. He'll be in so much debt that he won't be able to rebuild his old one until 20 if not more years after." Naomi recommended happily.
"Sounds like a plan. I'll teleport you guys there now." Jeremy agreed before teleporting the team to the international A.I and robotics center.
