Back at QUILL HQ, Zeno was talking to Gunvolt about Naomi quitting taking only vacation days for holidays.
"I just don't understand why she took off all her vacation days after saying that all the things she's dealin with here, at home and with some other friends of hers." Zeno pondered.
"Maybe she took the idea of extra work here as a way to stay away from her home and friends." Gunvolt theorized.
"Ya know, I didn't think about that. You're a genius man." Zeno commented.
"Hey guys, how's it goin?" Arson greeted.
"Naomi's not here." Zeno remarked.
"No, that's not what I came here for. Well, not exactly." Arson added.
"What about Naomi are you questioning now?" Zeno interrogated.
"Eh, just still curious why she killed my girl." Arson answered.
"The only reason Naomi eliminated her was cause she was workin for the Sumeragi. And I'm kinda surprised you aren't fired for rattin out one of your own." Zeno elucidated.
"What do you mean I ratted someone out?" Arson queried.
"You ratted out Naomi, one of your fellow colleagues by telling Tami's parents who might be working for the Sumeragi who could've caught ya." Zeno replied.
"I thought the ethos was we couldn't go snooping on the Septima's of people who work here." Arson wondered.
"Yeah, but all employees here know that you don't mess with the Sumeragi unless you're killing their employees as long as you're working for QUILL." Zeno explained.
"So does this mean I'm fired?" Arson worried.
"I'm not sure, I'll go see." Zeno notified before walking off to find the one person in the building with the power to fire employees.
"Ay boss, can we fire Arson?" Zeno questioned.
"Why does he need to be fired?" Asimov queried.
"He told Tami's parents that Naomi killed her." Zeno responded.
"That could pose a problem. I'll have him moved to coding." Asimov informed.
