"Do you want to discuss anything?" Xana pondered.
"Um, do you think you could make the rabbit sing and dance for Mytyl?" Naomi queried.
"What kind of question is that?" Xana questioned.
"She's been pretty upset lately about me being out pretty much all day every day. I thought it might make for a good distraction." Naomi replied.
"An even better distraction would be to get your vacation days back." Xana remarked.
"I know but the reason I got rid of my vacation days was so I wouldn't have ta hang around this joint all day." Naomi elucidated.
"Well apparently even Copen's been showing some concern markers recently." Xana notified
"Do you go into sleep mode like a computer? And can you adjust to different timezones by adjusting to the timezone set on a device?" Naomi asked.
"I could go into sleep mode but since it's not neccessary I don't. And I've never tried adjusting to different timezones since I never have to worry about feeling sleepy." Xana explained.
"If you could be a human, an animal, an Adept, bacteria, virus, plant, cell or any other living thing, which one would you choose to be and why?" Naomi pondered.
"Viruses tend to replicate before the original dies so that's a no go. Plants have different abilities and can live for thousands of years but can't go anywhere. Animals don't tend to live for very long. Bacteria tend to have the same issue as viruses. Cells don't truly have much power. Huans live more normal lives but don't have the same abilities as Adepts. So I'd go Adept since they have the same appearance as humans but have an ability or in your case, abilities. So I'll take Adept for my final answer." Xana responded.
"Aight, sounds like a good answer." Naomi agreed.
"What about you?" Xana wondered.
"Huh?" Naomi queried.
"If you could become human, would you?" Xana questioned.
"Aw man, that's a toughie. I think I'd stay the same as I am now honestly. Since I can defend myself and others if neccessary. I can use my Septima's to power up objects, start fires and do other things that would prove beneficial to my survival. I can also use them to attack which is awesome." Naomi smiled.
"If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?" Xana asked.
"I don't believe in the lottery. And it seems the tax for the winnings are almost the same amount as the winnings. Also, is there a specific amount of winnings?" Naomi added.
"For imagination's sake we'll say, four hundred twelve thousand three hundred sixty seven." Xana confirmed.
"Is there a certain age limit or things I have to pay off?" Naomi wondered.
"If you won that much money right now, what would you do with it?" Xana inqueried.
"I'd take half of it and give it to Asimov so he could use it for weapons or something and give the rest to Nori to forward to upkeeping the sanatorium." Naomi answered.
"Have you eaten anything yet?" Xana pondered.
"Would smuggling your sister half a chocolate pancake when she can't have chocolate that day in exchange for half her blueberry pancake count?" Naomi asked.
"As long as you ate it." Xana assured.
"Well, I'd better get ta work, you can come if ya want." Naomi notified before leaving.
When she got to work, Naomi saw Arson talking to Gunvolt. Arson noticed Naomi and waved to her. In turn, Naomi glared at him while gritting her teeth and snarling. Arson turned around quickly as chills started to crawl down his spine. Zeno noticed the way Naomi looked at Arson and walked over to him.
"What the heck's gotten inta her? I've never seen Naomi like this. Usually she's in an 'eh' kinda mood. But this is full on kill mode." Zeno commented.
"I guess Naomi's mad at Arson, well, that's what it looks like to me anyways." Gunvolt added.
"Me? What did I do?" Arson complained.
"Well, you have been invasive of her privacy and jumping to conclusions." Zeno noted.
"And by that you mean, what exactly?" Arson interrogated.
"You ignore any uncomfortability markers Naomi shows and walk right up to her. Next time try waving or calling her name. And you keep thinking she loves you, that's what I mean by jumping to conclusions, she's told you multiple times she doesn't like you. Heck, she's even showed you she doesn't like you. It's said actions speak louder than words but it seems your deaf." Zeno explained.
"That's not true and you know it." Arson snarled.
