Meanwhile, Nori was waiting for Copen and Mytyl to get something to keep them entertained on their trip. Mytyl decided to bring her tablet and Rubix cube along with a math book so her, Copen and Naomi would have something to do.
"Do I need to know what my blood type is?" Mytyl queried.
"it's best you do in case you get injured and need a transfusion. especially if you go to a different place hospital you've never been to before." Copen replied.
"What's a transfusion?" Mytyl questioned.
"A transfusion is when you lose a lot of blood and they give you blood from someone else with the same blood type as you. But there's also factors in your blood they have to match with the kind they give you otherwise your body won't accept the donated blood and it can mean life or death in some cases." Copen responded.
"So are we getting a transfusion?" Mytyl guessed.
"We're getting some of our blood drawn so they can check for any illnesses." Copen answered.
"Do you want to play with the Rubix cube again? I thought you could show me a few tricks." Mytyl hoped.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt." Copen supposed before taking the Rubix cube Mytyl handed to him and began solving the cube.
After 3 minutes, Copen returned the solved cube to Mytyl.
"Holy snot! How do you do that!?" Mytyl cheered.
"Practice." Copen notified.
"Where's Naomi?" Mytyl asked.
"She'll probably show up last minute." Nori theorized.
However, Naomi wasn't planning on showing up at all. She was with Jeremy talking with the others in his dorm.
"The test could help you know. It detects illnesses that can't be found any other way." Jeremy stated.
"That or they put you to sleep in an OR at the hospital and shove a straw sized camera down your throat." Odd remarked.
"Knock it off Odd! They can't do that instead that's for something else! And Naomi's already scared enough! She's probably worried about Copen and Mytyl enough as it is! She doesn't need anymore problems!" Ulrich hushed while covering Naomi's ears.
Odd bent his head down in a mix of shame and embarrassment.
"Sorry about that Naomi, you know him and his obsession with Hospital of Horrors." Yumi teased.
"It's cool, 'sides, it ain't his fault all that stuff happened ta me." Naomi assured.
"It's one thirty, you'd better go." Jeremy informed.
"Aight, se ya'll later." Naomi smiled before teleporting to QUILL HQ and typing a message to Nori.
Teleported directly outside of hospital, waiting for you.
Naomi sent the message before making a clone and sending it so it'd look like she was there. Nori was quite surprised when she saw the clone. Unfortunately, the real Naomi then realized the clone wouldn't bleed and therefore served no purpose. Luckily, Naomi came up with a plan. She would have the clone leave the room last minute and dissapate.
Copen went first. Soon, Naomi found another hole in her plan that required patchwork. The assistant nurse put some white gauze wrapped around Copen's right elbow. Naomi remembered she could buy the gauze from a corner or drug store. So Naomi happily breathed a sigh of relief. Right before Mytyl was finished, the clone got an idea.
"Nori, can I go use the restroom?" Naomi asked.
"Make sure you hurry." Nori confirmed.
The clone ran down the hall the bathroom was located in while smirking. But after the door shut, the clone ran outside and dissapated.
"Mission accomplished." The real Naomi was beaming on the way to the drugstore.
After purchasing the white gauze she needed, Naomi teleported home to her room, and gave the leftover gauze to one of the medical staff there before returning to her room. Naomi locked the door behind her so Nori, Copen and Mytyl would think she was home for a while. That's when Naomi started up her computer and worked on some files. Forty five minutes later, Naomi heard a knocking on her door.
'Time ta face the music. Ugh! Why do they have so many bad analogies!? It's not like as soon as I open that door I'm gonna have a standoff with a double clef or somethin.' Naomi mentally ranted before standing up, walking towards the door, opening the door and finding Nori standing behind it.
"How did you get your bloodwork done? You didn't come back." Nori interrogated.
"After I came out of the restroom, someone stopped me and asked me if I was there for a sickness or somethin. I told em I as there for a blood test and they did one for me so I wouldn't have ta wait." Naomi lied.
Nori knew Naomi was lying and was skeptical until she saw the gauze wrapped around Naomi's right elbow. Luckily, Nori lost suspicion and went downstairs. Naomi breathed a sigh of relief as she closed the door.
