Back with the Lyoko team, they were working on a plan to make the factory Sumeragi proof.
"I think we should add minature turrets that'd automatically fire to the cameras if any Sumeragi members come in." Odd suggested.
"But wouldn't it fire at Naomi then?" Yumi worried.
"We can manually program specific enemies into their hardware and add as the list goes on." Jeremy supposed.
"But where would we get the parts from?" Ulrich pondered.
"We could get some from the machine rooms and other parts of the factory. Naomi seems to have a knack for machines and stuff so we can get her to help set up the cameras and get other parts too." Aelita answered.
"That's a great idea, I'll call her now." Jeremy agreed before calling Naomi.
"Hey Einstein, what's up?" Naomi greeted.
"You wouldn't happen to have any mini turrets lying around would you?" Jeremy theorized.
"I hate ta break it to ya but the only thing I've seen even remotely close to that is the laser cannons. They're up to my knees in height so I'd say they're about one and two thirds of a foot. But we could put them around the columns throughout the factory and scare the heck outta any Sumeragi members that decide to trespass." Naomi answered.
"Those'll work, we'll need 58 of them." Jeremy confirmed.
"Aight, I'll get right ta work on that, I dunno how long it'll take ta get em though." Naomi answered.
"As soon as you can would work just fine." Jeremy assured.
"No prob, I can weld them onto the columns too as soon as I get em all. I'll talk to ya whenever, bye." Naomi finished before ending the call.
"Naomi said she'll be able to get us some parts from laser cannons but they're so big she said she'll weld them to the columns when she gets them all." Jeremy notified.
"So, what should we do in the meantime? There's no Xana attacks to worry about so we can do whatever we want." Ulrich wondered.
"I'll go back to my dorm and see about that connection with Tyron and the Sumeragi." Jeremy informed.
"For once in your life Jeremy take some time for yourself, it's not as if we're the only line of defense against the Sumeragi. Naomi told me there's a QUILL office in every country." Aelita commented.
"But there's also a Sumeragi office in every country too, the main one just happens to be in Japan." Odd remarked.
"I guess you're right Aelita, but Franz Hopper is the only adult who knows about Tyron and the damage he's done. We don't have much of a defense against him so we have to do everything in our power to stop him." Jeremy added.
"I can tell daddy about the situation and see if he can help us. I'll message you later if I find anything useful." Aelita explained before leaving.
Meanwhile, Naomi was waiting at a crosswalk when she heard somebody yelling.
"Wait for me!" Mytyl yelled.
Naomi whipped around and saw Mytyl panting.
"You plan on gettin me locked outta work so I can't go and the only option I have is ta hang out with ya?" Naomi interrogated.
"I was just wondering what you do for a job that's so important." Mytyl stated.
"I'm a hitwoman for hire, get paid a lot for it too. The job's simple, I use my Septimas to infiltrate Sumeragi facilities, take down their workers and thwart any schemes they come up with." Naomi elucidated.
"You, kill people?" Mytyl squeaked.
"I don't have any other choice, Adepts like me can't get an education which means we can't get a job so this is as close as I can get to a normal life." Naomi explained.
"What about working for the Sumeragi, don't they accept Adepts?" Mytyl queried.
"They do but the people that run the company aren't good people." Naomi replied.
"Can I wait outside at least?" Mytyl begged.
"That's the reason the building shut me out in the first place. It's best you go home and wait for me, I'll be back soon. I've got an order of fifty eight turrets right now anyways that I can only get from missions." Naomi denied.
Mytyl huffed before turning around and walking home. When Naomi made it to HQ, she noticed Gunvolt talking with Xiao who was busy working.
"Hey guys, what did I miss?" Naomi greeted.
"Hey Naomi, good to see you back. Copen or Mytyl wouldn't happen to have an interest in comic books would they?" Xiao spoke.
"Mytyl does." Naomi confirmed.
"Then can you give her these?" Xiao asked before handing Naomi a 13 by 13 by 10 inch box that weighed 8.6 pounds and was full to the brim with comic books.
"Will do, she's outside right now. Apparently she got the idea to follow me here since she wanted to hang out with me. Seems like she doesn't remember bein the reason I got locked out of the building last time. This aughta keep her off my back for a bit." Naomi smiled before going to the elevator, pressing the button for the first floor with her left hand before continuing to use it to support the weight of the box.
Mytyl was sitting on a bench nearby looking down at the ground and was confused when she saw shoes that looked rather familiar. She looked up and noticed it was Naomi with a box.
"Xiao gave me some comic books he wanted me ta give ya." Naomi explained.
"Tell him I said thank you please." Mytyl smiled.
Naomi nodded.
"Why don't you go home and tell me about them when I get back?" Naomi recommended.
Mytyl nodded before walking off. When Naomi went back to work, Xiao noticed Naomi grinning from ear to ear, a rather unusual sight.
"Are you okay Naomi? Usually you never smile." Xiao worried.
"I'm fine, thanks to you Mytyl's off my back for a bit. Finally, I can get some peace and quiet. Though I made the stupid idea to get her to tell me about the comics when I get back." Naomi commented.
