"Negotiatin sucks." Naomi ranted as she was running through the Stratacombs with Lola. Copen reactivated the lights so the girls had no problem navigating.

"Why do they have spikes when the floor is so close to the ceiling?" Lola pondered.

"It's ta deter intruders. I bet a lot a soldiers get injured on those." Naomi commented as she jumped over a row of floor spikes.

"Elise's words were a double edged sword." Naomi muttered angrily.

"How come?" Lola wondered.

"Copen said Elise told him she'd hurt somebody and when she did it'd be the one he cared about most. My first thoughts were you an Mytyl. But he said somethin happened ta me. Now it seems like vice versa." Naomi elucidated.

"The signal's getting stronger. Copen's not far now." Lola notified.

Naomi activated her Azure Striker and ran faster. When she reached him, Copen shot down the psychotic Elise. As the eliminated enemy vanished, Naomi tapped Copen's left shoulder from behind. Out of shock and reflexes, Copen hit Naomi in the nose with the barrel of his gun.

"Dang, man that was my frickin nose! What the heck made ya think it'd be a good idea ta do that!? Next time, I'm so gonna get ya." Naomi ranted.

"Naomi? What are you doing here? You asked Nori where I was I assume?" Copen interrogated.

"That I can't say, otherwise it wouldn't be fun, ya know?" Naomi teased.

Copen shook his head.

"Just wanted ta make sure ya were alive so I wouldn't get an eternity's worth the lecture." Naomi joked.

"Who was that?" Lola queried.

"Elise, she has Rebirth Septima. But somehow I absorbed her Septima. Is she alive because the Septima's still alive?" Naomi rambled.

"Is something wrong?" Copen questioned.

"It's aight, just calculatin how many Sumeragi goons are usually in one facility so I don't waste tags." Naomi lied.

Both Copen and Lola saw nothing suspicious about what Naomi said.

"I'm goin back an takin a break. All this work's been makin me tired." Naomi commented before teleporting back to the sanatorium.

After sneaking into the sanatorium's kitchen, Naomi quietly giggled before Nori walked in.

"Frick!" Naomi squeaked.

Nori curiously looked at Naomi.

"Instead of gettin a snack I got a heart attack." Naomi sighed.

"What snack were you trying to get?" Nori asked.

"Some of that pink citrus juice and some of those orange cheese crackers." Naomi notified.

Nori grabbed a glass out of the cabinet and a pitcher filled with pink liquid.

"The crackers are on the middle shelf in the third cabinet." Nori informed.

Naomi grabbed them as Nori placed the pitcher back in the fridge.

"Thanks." Naomi thanked as she grabbed the glass of juice along with the box of crackers and scuttled back to her room.

A red liquid dripped on her desk. Naomi wiped her nose with her sleeve.

'Dang nam it! I might need a helmet anytime I go near him from here on out. Now where's the tissues? Oh yeah, they're in the basement. Copen always seems ta get his hands dirty when tryna do maintenance on Lola. I never do though. Oh well, better get some tissues 'fore I have enough for a blood bag.' Naomi thought.

When Naomi reached the basement she saw the tissue boxes dirctly next to the workbench. As she proceeded to place torn bits of tissues up her nostrils, Naomi heard footsteps approaching from the stairs.

Thinking it was Akito, Naomi hid behind the workbench, gun in hands. When the sound came to a halt, Naomi shot up and aimed her gun at the unsuspecting individual.

"It's the end of the line for you Akit-oh boy, hehe. Sorry about that." Naomi apologized.

Copen then walked into the room. He looked at Naomi, the tissue box and back to Naomi.

"What happened to you?" Copen wondered.

"You, that's what happened." Naomi huffed.

"Is something the matter?" Dr. Kamizono queried.

"He hit me!" Naomi fumed while pointing at Copen.

"Well I wasn't the one who approached from behind." Copen protested.

"At least you didn't use your gun the other way." Naomi complained.

"Maybe I should've." Copen ranted.

"Yeah, there's nothing really fun to do, maybe a gun fight could change that." Naomi commented.

"How about some target practice?" Copen suggested.

"Eh, sounds good, but what'll we use as the targets? I don't have anything in my room that'll make a good target." Naomi sighed.

"I have some old destroyed circuit boards in here somewhere we can set up." Copen remembered.

"Sounds great, I'll see you outside in 5." Naomi smiled as she walked upstairs.
