"Now, I'm stuck in here with nothin ta do as usual. Oh, wait a sec. I've got two siblin's ta annoy. Why the heck am I sittin 'round bored?" Naomi laughed to no one in particular as she got up to go bother Copen or Mytyl.

Preferably Copen, since she always found her brother to be particularly annoying. Just as she hoped, Naomi stumbled across Copen, but heard a gunshot as she rounded the corner. Surprised and believing there was an ambush in progress, Naomi removed Dolor from its holder and shot up right through the ceiling. A thud was heard, followed by an unnaturally calm and quiet atmosphere.

Unexpectedly, a third shot rung through the air, piercing the silence. Naomi didn' fire the last shot, and was aware Copen didn't either as she was observing him from the end of the hall.

Aw man, what the fuck was that!? Please tell me that I didn't make anyone pass out. If it was, it'd prolly be Mytyl or mom. Naomi thought while slinking quietly downstairs as to not startle the shooter.

Naomi saw Copen place his gun back in its holder on his waist.

"Ay, ya know where that last shot came from?" Naomi queried.

"Naomi Kamizono! Did you shoot a hole in the ceiling!?" Naomi's mother yelled.

"An that's ma cue ta go." Naomi worried as she continued her search for the unknown shooter in the basement.

However, the only beings in the room other than the siblings were their father and Akito, who's corpse was laid out on the floor.

"Oh, so that's where the gunshot came from." Naomi noted.

"How are we going to get rid of the body?" Copen wondered.

"Yeah, we can't have the housekeeper findin this. She'll either put the blame on me, quit or both. An none a those are good options."

Can't you use your Angered Explosion to cremate him?"

"Eh, it's worth a shot."

Naomi then shot a sphere of fire from her Angered Explosion in her right hand at Akito's body. Luckily, it turned into a pile of burnt remains instantaneously. Only his glasses remained intact, which was surprising considering the amount of heat they were exposed to. Naomi decided since they could handle extreme conditions they could be of use. She picked them up and smiled.

"GV might like these. It's funny how glasses are the most expensive not stolen items in robberies. Prolly cause not many people need em."

After exiting the sanatorium and teleporting to Gunvolt's apartment, Naomi found him and Joule watching TV.

"Ay, ya have contacts for missions but none for 'ere right?" Naomi queried.

"Yeah, I've been thinking about getting some regular ones. But I'm worried that someone will find out I'm an Adept." Gunvolt answered.

"One, no one can find out you're an Adept unless ya got a Septima that let's ya see through walls. An two, try these." Naomi smirked as she tossed the glasses to Gunvolt.

After trying them on, Gunvolt was practically speechless.

"They're perfect. I can see the vase in the kitchen. I thought the flowers had five petals not six." Gunvolt muttered.

"It's nice ta know they're a perfect fit, I was worried they wouldn't be." Naomi smiled.

"We made some chocolate chip cookies if you want some." Joule added.

Naomi noticed the plate of cookies on the corner of the kitchen counter nearest to the doorway.

"No thanks, I'm not a fan of sweets. In all honesty I like savory stuff better." Naomi denied.

"At least take one for the road and tell us what you think tomorrow." Lumen begged.

Naomi nodded as she grabbed a cookie off the plate.

"Where did you get the glasses?" Gunvolt questioned.

"Huh?" Naomi spoke as she looked up from the cookie before she could take a bite out of it.

"From what I know you don't need glasses. I haven't seen Copen wearing any either. And from what I've heard Mytyl doesn't need them too. Unless all of you wear contacts."

"Uh, ya really wanna know where I got em from?"

Gunvolt nodded.

"Ugh, fine, I cremated Akito an took his glasses. No worries, ya aren't betrayin QUILL or anythin if that's what ya thinkin. Well, I just wanted ta drop those off. Thanks for the cookie, I'll see ya'll tomorra."

Naomi then teleported back to her room in the sanatorium. After splitting the cookie in two, Naomi went to Mytyl's room to give her the larger half of the cookie. Needless to say Mytyl pretty much inhaled it with a content smile.

"So, where did you get the cookie?" Mytyl asked.

"I dropped off some glasses I found ta GV. I know he uses contacts on missions so he doesn't have ta worry bout breakin glasses or losin em. Those things are pricey I heard. Joule wanted me ta take a cookie an tell 'er what I thought bout it tomorra. So, that's what I'm gonna do." Naomi elucidated as she bit into her half of the cookie.

A smile broke out on Naomi's face as she enjoyed her smaller half of the circular sweet treat.

"I usually don't like cookies but this one's awesome." Naomi commented.
