When she woke up, Naomi awoke to Nori checking something on a monitor next to her. It was on top a white metal pole with a 4 wheel stand underneath. There was a finger clip on Naomi's left index finger and a heartrate monitor on the right side of the head of Naomi's bed. Nori noticed a flatline on the monitor and banged the top of the monitor with her right fist.

After realizing that failed, she noticed Naomi sat up, her hands supporting her with her back against the beds head board. When she noticed what Nori was doing, Naomi thought Nori went mental while she was gone. Nori checked Naomi's pulse as she looked at the heartrate monitor and was suprised when sound nothing there.

Darn it, gotta be cause ma Azure Striker's on recharge. Naomi noted.

However, after a second glance, it appeared Nori was relieved.

"So, can I take off all this dumb stuff? I think this clip's cutting off my circulation." Naomi commented nervously.

"I'll be right back, there's something I need to check. Don't take anything off until I get back." Nori stated as she closed the door.

I'm in so much trouble if her "I need to check something" means what I think it does. And my definition is that she needs ta tell dad 'bout my Rebirth Septima. Wait, that time had insanely shot me ta quote "calm me down" unquote, I survived it. So, was that my Rebirth Septima the kept me around? Naomi contemplated.

She heard talking outside the door to her room. She definitely heard Nori, and also a male voice.

"Some days I just wanna hide under the covers." Naomi sang quietly as she placed her blanket over her head, though her arms were still plainly visible.

Naomi forgot the rest of the song so then she just sat there in silence. Silently considering whether she should get all the stuff off and climb out the window. But she loved Nori and decided it would be best to respect her and obey. As she heard the door slowly creak open, Naomi made her best attempt at playing dead.

Eyes completely shut, arms limp at her sides and incredibly slow breathing. Deciding to squint just enough to see some but not enough for anyone to notice. Naomi saw a lab coat and a name tag at the foot of her bed. Even though she couldn't identify what it said, she was certain of who it belonged to.

Naomi knew the typing sound was similar to when she got Copen to find the date of ther Sumeragi delegates press conference. She could tell who it was just by the sound of them typing. Nori's typing was light and fast, similar to Moniqa's. But this typing was a bit heavier.

"I know you're awake. Nori told me your vitals weren't showing on the monitor. But from what I've heard it seems you have no vitals at all." The man stated.

Naomi refused to talk. She was too busy thinking how to prank Nori as payback.

I'll melt some white chocolate and put it in an empty mayo jar. That'll show her not to mess with me. Naomi thought.

"You're afraid that if you tell me you'll get in trouble?" the man guessed.

Naomi sighed, rolled over on her left side, galred at the wall, folded her arms and huffed in response to the statement.

"I think I've done enough to be hated for. I don't need to add anymore reasons to that list." Naomi huffed.

"You think I hate you for being an Adept, don't you?" The man noticed.

"I know you do. And it's killing you. Heh, that's funny, I'm already dead and it's killing you." Naomi retorted, muttering the last part to herself.

"So you do know what's going on, if you want to fix this, I need to know what's going on." Dr. Kamizono stated.

Naomi sat up with her eyes looking down, eyes watery as she clenched the blanket in her fists.

"Is me having thirteen Septimas such a bad thing? Am I a monster for begin undead? An abomination for existing when I didn't even ask to be here? I bet everything I've done is unforgivalbe too then. I don't want to fight, I just wanted to live a normal life like humans do." Naomi sobbed.

Dr. Kamizono stopped typing and hugged Naomi.

"None of this is your fault. The truth is, when we found out about your Muse Septima, it was said you'd most likely if not definitely have more Septimas. They said you're the first of what's known as Primal Dragons. You're connected to the Octimal or eighth Lifewave instead of the seventh.

That's why you have so many Septimas and you'll have more awaken as you age. Asimov told me about the ones you have. Most of them you're the first to have. From what I'm seeing you have Azure Striker, Angered Explosion, Muse, Spiral, Hydro Pressure, Psychokinesis, Gravity, Radiant Fetters, Rebirth, the Plant Septima, Hot and Cold, Overclock and Permafrost.

The Radiant Fetters allows you to stop Adepts from using their Septimas. Overclock lets you calculate at the speed of light. And Hot and Cold is basically a mix of Permafrost and Angered Explosion." Dr. Kamizono elucidated.

Naomi sniffled as she thought about her Septimas.

I'm now officially at the forefront of Adept technology. If the Sumeragi didn't want to recapture and experiment on me again before, they'll be dead set on it now. Naomi feared.

"C-can Aelita sleep over tonight? I'd feel a little bit better knowing I'm not alone with my thoughts." Naomi wondered.

"When she's done with school I'll call Franz and see." Dr. Kamizono supposed.

Naomi smiled.

"Seriously though, can I take this stuff off? I smelled something along the lines of anesthesia the other day and this isn't exactly bringing back good memories either." Naomi muttered.

"Nori doesn't know why medical equipment frightens you, I failed to mention." Dr. Kamizono apologized as Naomi removed the finger clip and pulse monitors from her wrists. The pulse monitors vaugely reminded her of the wrist movement monitors for the "Muse Machine" as she called it.

"A-are you sure you aren't mad at me? Especially since I'm apparently worse than an Adept?" Naomi nervously rambled.

Dr. Kamizono couldn't find any words to tell Naomi yes or no.

"I thought so." Naomi noted as she stood up.

"I'm going to Aelita's to take a shower and change. When I come back I'll come back to help Nori move the equipment back before I go back to work." Naomi smiled as she grabbed her morning clothes from Aelita's and teleported to her house.
