Naomi teleported to work so she could wrie her report. When she was done, she was sitting on the couch with Gunvolt and Zeno.
"I know right? An just when I was starin' ta have fun too." Naomi pouted.
Asimov then walked over to the tree.
"Ay boss, somethin' the matter?" Zeno greeted.
"Is what you wrote in your report correct Naomi?" Asimov interrogated.
Naomi could only hang her head in response.
"Wait, what happened?" Zeno questioned.
"Naomi has the stronger version of Phantasm Mirror called Reverie Mirror." Asimov announced.
"Y-you're not workin' with Eden eare ya man?" Zeno worried.
"Huh? Who's that?" Naomi wondered.
"Wait, outta all this time, nobody told ya 'bout 'em?" Zeno queried.
"We've been facing an enemy group called Eden. Their hope is to wipe out all humans so there's no harm for Adepts." Moniqa elucidated.
Well that'd wipe out the Lyoko group an ma fam that's for sure. I can't let that happen! Naomi thought.
"The leader's Zonda of the Sumeragi hunters unit and they have Phantasm Mirror as ell. Recently they brought down the Kamishiro barrier and brought in some new members. The barrier's up and running again. However, while they were working to repair the hole in the generator Zonda made, seven Adepts, each from different countries, were brought in. Now we need you back on the field ASAP to help take them out." Asimov explained.
"First I need info on how Reverie Mirror works an all we got is a l'il bit a data on Phantasm. An second, what the flippin heck are we gonna do 'bout the Sumeragi!? While we run 'round like chickens with our head cut off 'bout Eden, Nova might actually get the Azure Striker! We need ta eliminate him before that happens!
If you want an indirect way just get rid of the scientist! An don't gimme that look I know which one you're thinkin' a. Or just rid a the top brass like we shoulda done a long time ago!" Naomi ranted.
"It's not easy, we'd have to hack their schedules and they have heavy security around them constantly. And trying to assassinate them discreetly would be impossible." Moniqa protested.
Naomi huffed. Nobody furthered the conversation due to fear of arguing.
"Wait, what 'bout that rupturin' Septima I got? Won't someone mistake me for Raptor if I use it? And nobody will be able to see me." Naomi pondered.
"Then don't use it. Then ya won't risk the confusion. Though I bet that'd be the perfect way ta take down the delegates." Zeno commented.
"Should I try that now?" Naomi wondered.
"It's worth a shot, you did eliminate your desired target last time." Moniqa supposed.
"It's best we do that later, but now you'd better break your Glaive. There's no point in keeping any Septima locked up." Asimov added.
"Uh, sure, but how? J-just smash it on the floor, right?" Naomi rambled nervously.
Naomi removed her Glaive with a look of pure confusion from its sheath on her back.
"Uh, but this is my weapon, it'd take a forever we don't have ta make a new one." Naomi doubted.
"I'll make sure Xiao removes it." Asimov informed as Naomi handed him the weapon before continuing her talk with the boys about their game night.
"You're totally depressed aren't ya?" Zeno guessed.
"Depressed, no. Confused about everything surrounding my existence and beginning ta believe my life is a lie in every way, shape and form? Absofrickinlutely." Naomi answered.
After walking back halfway to the sanatorium, Naomi looked like a ghost herself after identifying a familiar face nearby.
I, wait up, I, hol' on a sec. I, I, I, I killed hiim. I definitely killed him. Wait, did Elise revive him too? Naomi panicked mentally.
As she continued her walk home, Naomi decided to try and avoid the trouble that wasn't yet knocking on her door. Taking the scenic route through the park, Naomi believed a walk through the park with her siblings one day may prove beneficial. However, the only thing that would prove beneficial at the moment was Naomi escaping Arson. Luckily, when she surveyed her current surroundings, Naomi didn't see any signs of Arson.
Deciding to sit on a bench and relax, Naomi breathed a sigh of relief as she could finally have some peace and quiet. When she finally reached home, Naomi was too exhausted to do anything other than go right to sleep. The Lyoko group was finally out of summer school. They used it as a cover to continue being near the school.
However, the band and other cover stories only lasted half the summer. So, they lied planned to lie about going to summer school for the next half of the summer. The "classes" they referred to was meetings they held about Lyoko and such. Yumi and Aelita were still happily chatting about their sleepover with Naomi.
Aelita began bragging about how much fun Naomi had sleeping over at her house. Yumi commented she'd ask Naomi to stay over at her house one night during the break.
