Rewards
Hitting the end button on the video call, after having given my report about nearly getting killed by a Sakura Empire aircraft carrier, and admitting that the sword had fallen into my possession under questionable means, High Command felt it was better to just sweep this one under the rug, rather than risk another all-out war with the Sakura Empire. I'm kind of mixed on that, I mean on the one hand I did nearly die, but on the other, no war is good for everyone, so, under the rug it goes.
With that done, I locked up my office and headed home, I am so looking forward to getting into that spa, while I'd been sailing back with Illustrious, I had gotten the notification that the work had been completed, as well as numerous texts from Javelin begging me to let her use it. But well, damn it, I wanted to be the first one in it!

Knowing it had been built into my backyard, which was fenced in with a high solid fence, I figured going in the buff for the full Sakura Empire experience would be the best. As soon as I was stripped down, with just a towel to cover me, I started to go to my back door, I could hear the bamboo water tube thing make that banging sound they do when full, and right afterward I hear a squeak of surprise.
That's not right.
Pulling my back door open with one hand and the other keeping the towel covering myself, I find five sets of eyes looking at me, in my brand-new spa. Smiling ever so smugly at me was a blond with her hair bunched up on her head, blue eyes twinkling, another woman with red eyes looked very unamused, one with dark hair seemed to be half dozing, one with white hair was looking at me with a bit of a surprised expression on her face, and lastly, was one with purple hair and purple eyes, her fingers on the deck, eyes just above the ledge with the iciest glare I have ever seen. Closing my eyes I sigh, "Please tell me you all have swimsuits on."
"Nope." Answered five voices in unison.
Hanging my head, I close the back door as I say, "I'll be back in half an hour, I want to use my spa then."

A half-hour later, I open my back door, just as the bamboo thingy makes the bonking sound, looking around it's been emptied, just the steaming water, rocks, and that banging thingy. Letting out a relaxed breath I put my feet on the deck, stop at the rinse station, clean myself up, then slowly slip into the water, a happy sigh escaping my lips.
This is nice, and almost worth nearly getting killed for.
The sudden sound of rippling water made my eyes open wide and look ahead, with one hand holding a towel against her front, and the other on the side as she lowered herself into the water. A smile on her face while she sighed happily, her blue eyes so full of warmth as she started to walk across the spa towards me, "I hope you do not mind having my company, Merlin?"
Shaking my head slowly from side to side while she sat beside me, her eyes drifting down to her right, a playful smirk on her lips as she said, "Oh my."
Grabbing a small towel from the ledge and covering myself, my cheeks on fire and I clear my throat while mumbling, "I don't mind, Illustrious, but well, this is kind of awkward."
She shrugs and scoots a little closer to touch hips with me, "To be fair, I am fairly sure you did look a few weeks ago when you caught me getting out of the shower."
Looking off to the side while I mumble, "I only saw your hair, and the odd bit of skin on your hips, but other than that I was trying to use the mirror to look you in the eyes."
She giggles lightly before taking on a serious expression and looks down at her bust and water, I can see that there is something on her mind and I ask, "Illustrious?"
Illustrious takes a deep breath before lifting her hands out of the water and slapping her cheeks as whispered to herself, "Vickky said to just be honest." My head tilted to the side and she turned to face me, looking me square in the eyes as she said, "I should've been honest with you, Merlin, after I came to your rescue, it filled my heart with joy to see you, alive and well. I knew I had made the right choice to deploy my corsairs and break my patrol route."
"Believe me, am I glad you did." I smile at her, still feeling super awkward to be naked in the spa with her.
She opens her mouth before closing it quickly, just as her hands dart out to take my left hand and she places it in the gap between her bust, my palm flat against her skin, "Merlin, can you feel my heartbeat through the palm of your hand?"
If I thought my cheeks were hot before, well now they were white hot. Gulping slowly and nodding my head up and down, I feel the forceful throbbing of her heart against the palm of my hand, the rhythmic rising and falling of her breathing, and the softness of her curves around my hand. The smell of lilies was so strong right now, but it was the look in her eyes that held my attention, "Illustrious," I started to say, but it died on my lips as she moved, faster and with more agility than I had ever seen her deploy before. Illustrious pressed herself against me, my hand stuck between her soft breasts while they squished flat against my chest, her soft lips pressing against mine. My nose continued to fill with the scent of lilies, an earthy honey scent.
Electricity flowed down my spine, it was like my body was short-circuiting, but it felt so good, so different from the odd kiss I get from Implacable. This was so much better, made all the more enjoyable as I heard her make a noise of, "Mmph." As she pressed herself harder against me, her lips opening against mine, just as the tip of her tongue danced across my lips, causing mine to part, our kiss deepening at that moment.
I don't want this to end.
My lungs started to burn, my head starting to get dizzy, I needed to breathe, but this felt too good, too right. Pushing my burning need to breathe to the back of my mind, all I wanted right now, was to keep this connection, to keep time standing still in this moment. My right hand reach out to touch her bare thigh, sliding up to her hip under the water, and the kiss broke, ending this perfect moment. Illustrious touched her forehead to mine, her chest heaving in and out in time with mine and she whispered, "I… I…"
Whatever she was trying to say didn't come out, Illustrious leaned back, her cheeks bright red and she looked away before whispering, "I need to go."
Before I could protest her leaving she climbed out of the spa, giving me a full view of her from behind, and bent over, without thinking about it, I go to reach for her, just as she gets out of the water, and starts to hurry away. Sitting in the water, I want to give chase, but I know on some level, she needs some time to process what just happened, just like I do.

Closing the door to the outer secretary's office, I hear that Scottish accent asking, "So? Was it good?"
I drop my tea, spinning around to face Javelin who was bouncing on the balls of her feet, leaning forward as I ask, "W… What are you talking about?"
"The spa of course, was it good? Can I use it now?" She asks me, blinking her big green eyes at me.
Right! The spa, not the kiss, man was that a good kiss.
"Right, yeah the spa." I say, looking off to the side and rubbing the back of my head for a minute before I turn around to pick up my tea while I continue, "It was good, and sure, just call a head first, alright? I'd like to avoid a situation like yesterday."
"What happened yesterday?" she asks, in a way more energetic tone than normal.
"I found the Illustrious sisters and Unicorn in it after I finished talking with the high command." I sigh while sipping some tea.
"That got to use it first!" she pouts, "That sucks! Wait, did you join them?"
I cough and clear my throat, the look of horror on her face as she grabbed some papers and slapped my arm with them, "You… how… how could you! Unicorn is too young to see… to see that!"
I pull my arm away from the slapping papers and protesting, "Ow! Hey! No! I didn't expose myself to Unicorn, I told them I wanted the place empty in half an hour, then I came back to an empty spa!"
And had the most intense kiss with Illustrious, wow this is still on my mind.
She shakes the rolled-up papers at me, "You better have."
"It was empty when I got in!" I counter and sip my tea.
Javelin raised an eyebrow, "But did it stay empty with just you?"
My cheeks got red hot, causing me to look off to the side and mummer on my way into my office, "Maybe."
As soon as I crossed the threshold into my office, Javelin let out a cry of disgust, "Ew! I didn't need to know that, and now I don't want to use it!"
Sticking my head out of my office, "All she did was kiss me!"
Javelin's jaw dropped open, the rolled-up papers falling from her hands as she asks, "Who?"
I'm not about to give her the satisfaction and I shut my door and go to my desk, just when I hear papers hit my door.
Worth it.

Around lunchtime, I hear a knock on my office door, not the side door where Hermione would normally enter to bring me my lunch, saving the document I was working on, and setting it to my desktop, I call out, "Enter."
The door opened and the woman on the other side put a smile on my face, enough to match the warm one she wore herself. Her elegant white dress which was both tame and revealing was always such an interesting contradiction. She crossed into the room and closed the door behind her, just as I noticed a picnic basket hanging from her left arm, her blue eyes darted off to the side, her cheeks turning bright red as we both spoke at the same time;
"About yesterday,"
"About yesterday,"
Illustrious gave a soft giggle, bringing a free hand to just under her mouth, and says to me, "You first," she pauses and looks around, "Merlin."
I'm really liking her saying my name.
Getting out from behind my desk, I lean against the front of it and gesture to her, "Ladies first, Illustrious."
She smiles softly and swings the picnic basket in front of her, holding it with both hands, while her arms press her bust together, her cheeks bright red, making her dress look almost pink against her body and she whispers, "I really like it, but I will understand if you do not wish to,"
I stop her right there, crossing the room as quickly as I can, placing my hands on either side of her face, my head tilting to the side, a heartbeat before I press lips against hers, tracing her lips with the tip of my tongue, the earthly sweet smell of the lily perfume she wore quickly becoming one of my favorite smells.
There was a thump as the basket fell to the floor between us, her arms going around me, pulling me in as she started to lean in to kiss while moaning, "Mmmph."
I broke this one sooner, placing my forehead against hers, stroking her cheeks with my thumbs, and whispering, "I liked it too."
Her blue eyes, shining brightly, almost watery as whispering back, "Good."
