Bio: Woody was (and still is) the leader of the group of toys belonging to Andy Davis, along with being his favorite. But everything changed when Andy got the new Buzz Lightyear action figure for his 5th birthday. Initially, Woody despised Buzz, due to the jealously that brew inside him out of the fear of Buzz over-shadowing him as Andy's favorite. But after a mishap that landed the two in the house of Sid, a sadistic bully who frequently mutilates and kills toys, Woody would finally get over his jealously and eventually reconcile. And after managing to escape from Sid's house, the two would become best friends. About two years later, Woody would find himself in another mishap, involving a greedy toy collector named Al. During this mishap he would meet Jessie and Bullseye, who would go on to join Woody and the other toys. Life were peaceful for Woody and the toys until they were randomly swiped by the insane monkey scientist, Dr. Frankenollie, who wanted to use them to create an all-powerful army to conquer his world. As a result of his experiment, Woody and the toys were not only made human-sized, but also given special powers and abilities. Luckily, the Guardians arrived on the scene, defeated Frankenollie, and freed the toys. The Guardians decided to let Woody and the toys onto the team in order to help them hone their newfound powers.

Powers and Abilities: Woody posseses superhuman strength and speed, which he matches well with his use of hand-to-hand combat. He also uses special golden throwing discs known as Lucky Stars and a unbreakable golden lasso.
