Bio: When he was first opened up by Andy on his 5th birthday Buzz believed that he was the actual Buzz Lightyear. This, along with his growing jealously of him brought him into conflict with Woody. But after a mishap that landed the two in the house of Sid, a sadistic bully who frequently mutilates and kills toys, Buzz would find out the truth and have an existential crisis. But thanks to Woody, who had finally gotten jealous, Buzz was able to overcome his crisis. And after managing to escape from Sid's house, the two would become best friends. About two years later, Buzz and the other toys found themselves on a mission to rescue Woody, who was swiped by greedy toy collector named Al. But during this mishap, he would meet Jessie and Bullseye, who would go on to join Woody and the other toys, much to Buzz's secret delight. Life were peaceful for Buzz and the toys until they were randomly swiped by the insane monkey scientist, Dr. Frankenollie, who wanted to use them to create an all-powerful army to conquer his world. As a result of his experiment, Buzz and the toys were not only made human-sized, but also given special powers and abilities. Luckily, the Guardians arrived on the scene, defeated Frankenollie, and freed the toys. The Guardians decided to let Buzz and the toys onto the team in order to help them hone their newfound powers.

Powers and Abilities: Buzz's Space Ranger suit is equipped with various weapons and gadgets. These include a jetpack with retractable wings, a wrist-mounted laser blaster, a Disruptor Beam, an energy shield, and a powerful Disruptor Cannon. He's also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
