Growing up wasn't easy for Peter. Although he did have a loving family and was financially stable, he was frequently bullied due to his short stature and shy nature. But everything for Peter at age 15 during a field trip to Oscorp, where he would get bitten by a radioactive spider. The spider-bite would grant Peter various superhuman powers and abilities. Initially, Peter, years of bullying he suffered through, wanted to use these powers for his own personal gain, with the one of the first things he did with them was winning a wrestling competition. While in the building of the competition, a robbery occured...and Peter simply let it happen, in spite of being capable of stopping it. When he got back home, he found several police cars and an ambulance on his front lawn. When he enter the house, he found his family in tears, being comforted by several police officers. It was at that moment that Peter would find out that his uncle Ben was shoot by a burglar. Filled with grief and anger, Peter donned a homemade suit he made and went out to find the burglar who took his uncle's life. When he finally found the burglar, he found out it was the same one that robbed the wrestling competition. Now overcome with rage and guilt, Peter was ready to take the man's life. But right before he could, he remembered one of the last things his uncle ever said to him, "With great power, comes great responsibility...". And so with that, Peter decided to spare the burglar's life, but delivered him to the police. And from that day on, Peter became Spider-Man, vowing to use his powers to help and protect those in need. During his early college years, he would be approached by the Guardians who, having seen and heard of his many heroic deeds, offered him a place on the team, which he accepted.
Powers and Abilities: Thanks to the spider-bite, Spider-Man possesses superhuman physicality, the ability to stick to and scale virtually any surface, a special sixth sense called his Spider-Sense, which allows to detect incoming danger from miles away, the ability to shoot organic webbing from his wrist, and night-vision.
