"You're an expert in love, right? You'll help me with my problems for free, like it says out there, yeah?" The guy on the other end spoke, his speech getting faster and faster. The way the communication lacrima scrambled the voice made it impossible to tell without the person saying or Cobra's innate magic the gender or age. The way it sounded right now, Lucy probably would have guessed an excitable teen girl, not a middle-aged man as Cobra knew. Still, he wouldn't say anything to her until she turned to him for help, otherwise, it would look like there's two of them.

"Well, I'll do my best to help with whatever's on your mind!" Lucy responded cheerfully.

The man on the other end grew even more hyper. "Excellent! You're the only one I can turn to in a time like this! Oh it's terrible Fix-It! At this rate, I just don't see how things between us will work!"

"W-Well, let's not jump to hasty conclusions. Just because things are bad now, doesn't mean it'll always be–"

"No, you listen!" The person suddenly roared, causing Lucy to flinch back and Cobra's mouth to twist into a snarl. As he listened internally he could tell, this guy had just been waiting for an opportunity to rant, and now he felt he could do so with no consequences.

"This woman, my so-called wife, has been driving me nuts!"
