(Linka has Quilli out while Lian has Goomy)

Loki: *To Loni* What you're about to see is a pokemon battle, the trainers battle each other until one of their pokemon faints, in which the opposing pokemon wins.

Loni: Whoa cool.

Lian: Alright Goomy use water pulse!

(Goomy fired a pulse of water at Quilli.)

Linka: Dodge it Quilli! Then use Aerial Ace!

(Quilli dodged the water pulse and landed an Aerial Ace on Goomy.)

Lian: Use Water Pulse again!

(Goomy fires another water pulse at Quilli causing her to take great damage.)

Linka: Use Aerial Ace again!

(Quilli slashed Goomy again, causing it to faint. Much to Lian's surprise)

Lian: H-how can this be...

Linka: We did it! (She and Quilli hug each other.)

Loni: Yay Linka!

Lian: (Walks up to Goomy) You did good little fella. (Looks at Linka.) I may've been defeated, but my point still stands! It's too dangerous to meet Kleavor now. The only welcome you'll get if you approach him is a flurry of devastating blows!

Linka: Oh, come on!

Lian: Normally, I'd simply try making him an offering... A nice heaped helping of his two favorite foods, served up with respect by his loyal warden— that's me, o' course—is usually enough to please him and soothe the prickliest of moods...But even I, Kleavor's loyal warden, can't get close enough to give any offerings now—not with the way Kleavor is rampaging and running amok. There's nothing that an outsider like you can do.

Irida: (Shown standing near them) The ancestors of Kleavor, Wyrdeer, and their cohort drew on almighty Sinnoh's own power to protect Pokémon and people alike—so it's said. It's by their grace that our clan—that any of us— still lives in vast Hisui today!

Lian: Irida? What are you doing here?

Irida: (To Loni) Ah! You must be Linka's brother. Nice to meet you.

(Loni stares at Irida.)

Irida: Uhhhmmm...Why are you staring at me like that?

Loni: Where did you get that towel? (Points to Irdia's cloth around her waist.)

Irida: Ohh...uhmmm I made it myself.

Loni: Can you show me how to make one, but sea green colored?

Irida: Uh...sure, after we deal with the Kleavor situation.

Linka: Sorry about Loni, he has a thing with fashion.

Irida: Anyways, As you say Lian, Kleavor's grown even stronger, but I'm afraid that strength poses a problem for us. If he was indeed struck by that lightning...could the bolts have been sent by the false Sinnoh that the Diamond Clan bows to? Kleavor means so much to our clan... I'd hoped we could bring this situation under control ourselves, not throw our hands up and ask some outsider for help... But we must save Kleavor from this frenzy. Every moment it continues, the danger grows. If more people and Pokémon are attacked, it will lead to conflict with both the Diamond Clan and the Galaxy Team. Linka: I'll figure something out

Irida: Very well! Lian and I will gather foods that please Kleavor, in hopes that we might be able to get close enough to make him a proper offering. As for you—find a way to quell his frenzy, even if you must search every corner of vast Hisui!

Linka: Alright, let's head back to the base camp.

(As Linka and her brothers walked back to the camp, a Wurmple appears.)

Loni: Hey a pokemon! Let me battle them!

Linka: Loni wait!

Loni: Go Mahfuza! (Sends her out.) Mahfuza, Water Pulse!

(Mahfuza fires a Water Pulse at Wurple.)

Wurmple: Uhm...I don't like battling so...(Runs Away)

Loni: Awww it ran away.

Linka: Loni, Wurple are pokemon that tent to avoid conflict. They will try to run away if you battle them.

(They find the same Buneary who woke up Loni.)

Linka: Let me show you how it's done. (Linka hides in the tall grass, and throws an oran berry, then while one of the Buneary eat the oran berry, she throws a pokeball at it and captures it.)

Loni: Sweet.

Linka: (Hands empty pokeballs and oran berries to Loni.) Now you try.

Loni: O.K.

(Loni hides in the grass like Linka did and throws an oran berry. Then while the Buneary were eating it, Loni captures the pokemon.)

Loni: Alright I caught him!

Linka: Wow! You're getting the hang of it.

Loni: Thanks, Linky!

(They then arrive at Heights Camp)

Laventon: Good to see you, Linka! It seems you found another one of your brothers...Loni was it? (Linka nods) And how is your research into Kleavor going? Swimmingly, I expect?

Linka: Well, Irida and Lian are gathering his favorite foods to make him more mellow.

Laventon: ...Oho, is that so? Now that's quite the tidbit! I need to mull this over back at the laboratory. You and your bothers should come along, too, dear girl.

Linka: Great! I could use a break.

(They head back to Laventon's Office. Rei and Loni introduced themselves.)

Laventon: So according to the information you were able to learn from Irida and Lian of the Pearl Clan...were this the normal course of events, that frenzied Kleavor would be calmed by a nice serving of his two favorite foods...I do wonder... Is it possible that the aromas or some other components of these foods might combine in a way that could not only calm Kleavor but draw him back from this frenzy? But by your own report, even Kleavor's warden— who looks after Kleavor and knows him well— cannot approach him in his current state. It would be a fool's gambit to get close enough to offer him food...

Linka: So then how are we supposed to quell his frenzy?

Laventon: Hmmm... Give me a moment, if you would. I need some time to ponder on this...There ought to be something in my research notes that can help us...

(Laventon thinks and thinks while the others talk with each other. Suddenly he figures it out.)

Laventon: EUREKA! We'll simply have to throw the food! You've quite the arm for throwing things, haven't you, Linka? Might I suggest you take Kleavor's favorite foods and throw them at the Pokémon?

Linka: Makes sense! Like I said, It's all thanks to Lynn.

Laventon: Yes, it's all coming together! We can use our skill in Poké Ball crafting to shape Kleavor's beloved foods into balls, then throw them to achieve the same calming effect—but from afar! A brilliant idea, if I do say so myself. As for what to call these yummy projectiles... Well, how about Teatime Balls? Puts one in mind of a nice, relaxing afternoon tea, does it not?

Rei: Are you...sure, Professor? They're your own inventions—why not call them Laventon Balls?

Laventon: Oh my. With that name, it'd sound like I'm the one being launched at our frenzied friend...In any case, we can rely on the Pearl Clan to gather the necessary foodstuffs, correct?

Rei: Then you should hurry back to Grandtree Arena and tell the Pearl Clan about our brilliant plan!

Laventon: If you're off to Grandtree Arena, best set out from the Heights Camp, eh?

Isn't it funny that Loni takes intrest whenever he sees something he hasn't seen back in Royal Woods?
