(Volo walks into the ruins)
Volo: Ah, Linka! How about you show me the strength that could quell even a frenzied lord?
Linka: A bit busy right now...
Volo: Who knows when I'll get the chance next? Please, I ask that you face me now!
Linka: Alright fine...
Volo: Glad you could cooperate. Go Togepi! (Sends out Togepi)
Linka: Alright, go Quilli! (Sends out Quilli) Use Flame Wheel!
(Quilli used flame wheel on Togepi)
Volo: Use Draining Kiss Algie style!
(Togepi kissed Quilli with energy draining from her, she also regained health.)
Volo: Draining Kiss again!
(Togepi hit Quilli with another Draining Kiss, draining her health to her own.)
Linka: Use Flame Wheel again!
(Quilli rolled into Togepi with flames, knocking Togepi out.)
Volo: Not bad, but let's see you go up against my newest pokemon! Go Gible!
(A small aqua bipedal shark with a red belly came out of the pokeball.)
Volo: Use Bulldoze Strong Style!
(Gible slammed his foot onto the ground, causing it to vibrate. Quilli was knocked back by the vibrations.)
Linka: Return! Go Wings! (Sends out Wings) Use Air Slash!
(Wings flapped saws of air that hit Gible.)
Linka: Air Slash again!
(Wings flapped more saws of air at Gible, knocking him out.)
Linka: Way to go Wings! (She and Wings Hi 5 each other)
Volo: (Returning Gible.) Oh, my! You're quite adept at instructing your Pokémon in battle! My goodness, that was fun! Such prodigious strength! Now, let me just heal up your Pokémon... *heals Linka's pokemon* Well now! I think that settles it. I must ask your help in retrieving the Wall Fragment. With your skill, it should be a cinch!
Linka: Wait-Stolen?
Volo: Yes, exactly! Some bandits pillaged the Solaceon Ruins and made off with a fragment of the wall engravings!
Linka: Have you not heard of the notorious Miss Fortunes? They're a trio of bandits that have even hit us Ginkgo Guild more than a few times! Not the kind of regulars I like to have, let me tell you! Miss Calaba is doing everything she can to regain the fragment, but at 99 years old... It's a bit hard for her top chase leads all over the place.
(Shows Calaba looking at an inscription on a wall that has a piece missing. She sighs at the fact that the old age keeps her from going after the bandits.)
Volo: So what do you say, kind ma'am? Why not help find the fragment for the warden? Oh-naturally I'll be happy to lend you a hand! Those sisters swiped my wares, too, and I'm no Ginkgo Guild merchant if I take that lying down! And far be it from me to let them just get away with vandalizing the precious ruins of this region! You know, I did see the remains of a campfire near the Mirelands Camp. Perhaps worth checking out?
Linka: Yeah, I'll go check it out!
(Linka exits the Solaceon ruins and heads west to a small forest. There she meets a bug pokemon with mushrooms on its back.)
Linka: Better hide in the grass, (She hides in the tall grass, but throws too low, giving away her presence.)
Linka: Go Quilli use Flame Wheel!
(Quilli knocks out the pokemon.)
Linka: Dang it. Oh well, I'll encounter it next time.)
(Linka continues walking through the woods. Suddenly, a purple round pokemon made of poisonous gas see her.)
Gastly: Who's there?
(Linka sents out Wings and orders him to use Air Slash, Gaslty uses Poison Gas on Wings, causing him to get poisioned.)
Linka: Hang in there! (Linka throws a Feather Ball at Gastly, capturing it. Linka then walks up to Wings.) This Peacha berry should heel you.
Wings: *eats the Peacha berry.* That hit the spot, Thanks.
Linka: Now back to my search!
(Linka walks to the end of the woods and finds a campsite with four tree stumps for seats and a burned-out campfire. On one of the tree stump seats was none other than Luke!)
Luke: Sis! Man am I glad to see you!
Linka: Glad to see you too Luke! But are you doing here? and why are you tied up?
Luke: I went to gather some supplies for me and Lane, but then these bandit chicks robbed me and took my guitar!
Linka: I'm looking for them actually, they also stole a fragment of a wall from those ruins over there and I'm hoping to get it back for someone.
(Linka walks over to the campfire.)
Linka: This must be the place where those bandits were...but where are the bandits?
?: Now who might you be? Not some stray traveler from the look of you.
(Linka turns around and sees three ladies with facepaint on their eyes. One has short grey hair and was wearing violet, another had black braided pigtails and was wearing blue, and the last one has blue hair with two points, one on each side and was wearing brown.)
?: There's only one reason people go poking around out here in the middle of nowhere. You're after us three, aren't you?!
Linka: That's right! And I want that wall piece you stole!
?: Sisters, we should introduce ourselves properly... before we show this poor fool how wrong she was to assume she could ever beat us.
Bandit 1: I bring good luck to my sisters wherever I go—and ill luck to anyone who crosses our paths. I'm the eldest, and I'll be your unlucky Charm!
Bandit 2: Thought you spotted a four-leaf clover? Well, I'll soon have you seeing double! I'm the middle sister, and I'm one Clover you can't pick!
Bandit 3: Heads, I win, and tails, you lose—you've got no chance in this game of fortunes. I'm the youngest, Coin, but I'm definitely not your good-luck piece.
All three Bandits: *While striking a pose.* We're the infamous bandit trio, the Miss Fortune sisters—and your luck's just run out!
Luke: Careful Link, these gals got monsters with powers with them!
Linka: Well so do I!
Coin: Let me handle this, sisters. I'll only hurt her a little. Come on, Toxicroak. Let's douse this fool in poison!
(Coins sends out a bluish frog pokemon with a horn and a red claw on each hand.)
Toxicroak: At your Command Coin!
Linka: Wings you're up! (Sends out Wings.)
Coin: Use Venoshock!
(Toxicroak shot a gush purple goo at Wings.)
Linka: Use Air Slash!
(Wings flapped air saws at Toxicroak.)
Coin: Venoshock again!
(Toxicroak shot a gush purple goo at Wings, but Wings dodged it.)
Linka: Use Air slash again!
(Wings used air slash on Toxicroak again, knocking him out.)
Coin: I'm not fond of this outcome, but at least it's still better than plowing fields for the Galaxy Team!
(Linka gives a thumbs up to Luke. The brother smiled.)
Coin: Hmph. The Galaxy Team continues to spoil things for me, even after I've left. Take the blasted fragment and go. Just leave us alone!
(Coin hands Linka the Wall Fragment.)
Luke: I would also like my axe back too.
Clover: *Pulls out Luke's guitar.* You mean this thing? For an axe, it's really lousy at chomping down trees. Heck, it doesn't even look like it can cut anything. So take it back.
(Clover tosses Luke's guitar back, because he's tied up it ends up hitting his face.)
Clover: The weird writing on the fragment made us think the stupid thing was some kinda treasure. But it turned out to be a worthless slab of junk. Tch! All that effort for nothing!
Charm: Tell me, why were you even seeking us out? What set you on this path?
Linka: I wanted to help Calaba.
Charm: Goodness, how selfless of you—to go so far out of your way for the sake of another. Not all of us have the luxury of offering such unthinking kindness to strangers. For some of us, simply surviving another day takes all that we have. And I've got a score to settle with the Galaxy Team...which now includes you!
Linka: Hmph!
Charm: Remember what those ancient verses tell us... "Why is it, in days of spring, beneath the soft caress of the sun, the blossoms tremble and fall, spirits lashed by uncertainty?" Your days are also numbered, Galaxy fool.
(After the bandits left, Linka unties Luke and hands him his guitar back.)
Luke: Sick moves Sis! You gotta teach me how to do that!
Linka: I'll ask the Galaxy Team if they can arrange a spot for you. Right now, *pulls out fragment* We've gotta return this back to its rightful place.
