(Lynn was now in his unform and was following Linka and Luke to Windbreak Stand.)
Lynn: So we're headed down to meet Palina?
Linka: We're headed to Firespit Island to find out about the noble.
(They then see a crow pokemon that looks like it was wearing a hat.)
Lynn: I catch it first! Ya!
Linka: Lynn No!
(But it was too late, Murkrow saw them and flung away the pokeball.)
Murkrow: Nice try, scum.
Linka: Lynn, You can't just toss pokeball at them you have to go into stealth mode, now we have to battle this pokemon.
(They were hit by Night Slash. Linka sends out Beach, and Luke sends out Min.)
Linka: Use Powder Snow!
Luke: Use Poison Powder!
(Beach used Powder Snow while Min Used Poison Powder. Murkrow used Air Slash.)
Lynn: Go Great Ball!
(Lynn catches Murkrow much to the relief of the kids.)
Lynn: Sorry about that Guys...
Linka: It's O.K. It's not a competition, so please be more apathetic next time.
Min: Luke, I've learned Ancient Power which means I can now evolve!
Luke: Sweet for it!
(Min evolved into The Alpha pokemon Linka and Luke saw in the Crimson Mirelands)
Min: Do you like it?
Luke: Love it!
Min: I'm now a Tangrowth!
Linka: Good for You. So Lynn what are you going to nickname your pokemon?
Lynn: Hmmm... I got it! Puck!
Linka: I knew you'll go for a sports themed name.
(They continued on to Veilstone Cape there they caught a red fox pokemon called Vulpix. They then saw a shaking tree.)
Lynn: I'll check it out! Puck, hit the tree over there!
(Puck Hit the tree and out came a pokemon similar to Burmy, but with more coating.)
Lynn: Use Air Slash!
(Puck used Air Slash on Wormadam. Knocking it out.)
Lynn: Dang it.
Linka: That pokemon's week to flying moves. Try using a different type of move, like Night Slash.)
(They see another moving tree, they hit it and another Wormadam popped out.)
Lynn: Use Night Slash!
(Puck used Night Slash on Wormadam. While Wormadam used Struggle Bug.)
Lynn: Go Pokeball!
Linka: It's a Great ball, but whatever.
(Said Great Ball hits and captures Wormadam.)
Linka: See? You're getting the hang of it!
(They then took a request from a man named Hiko on chasing purple monkey pokemon called Aipom. They got the goods from the Aipom and returned them to Hiko.)
Linka: So where's this Palina gal?
Lynn: Hey Stinka, that's her!
(They see a lady with light brown hair with a swim mask, she was accompanied by two red dog pokemon One big and one small. With black stripes and long white hair that covers their eyes.)
Big Growlithe: Warden Palina, there are humans behind you!
Lady: Hush, now. Settle down. *To the kids* I'm Palina of the Pearl Clan. And who might you be?
Linka: Linka and these are my brothers, Luke.
Luke: Sup.
Linka: And-
Palina: Lynn. I've met him and his brother before.
Linka: Oh yeah, forgot about that.
Palina: So you're that child from the Galaxy Team. I heard how you aided Kleavor and Lilligant when none other could quell their frenzy. Your strength must be amazing, and yet... you have such a gentle face. So, what brings you to the Cobalt Coastlands? We have no lord here, much less a frenzied one for you to quell. Our previous lord...was swallowed by the waves. He was rescuing his young pup that had been swept out to sea and ended up giving his life to ensure the pup's safe return...
(She shows the two Growlithe.)
Palina: If you were to guess, which of these Growlithe would you say is the previous lord's child?
Luke: The big one?
Linka: The small one?
Lynn: *Imitates a bell* Ding ding ding! Linka's correct!
Palina: This quiet, skittish Growlithe is the child of the previous lord. I've no doubt this little one has the potential to be a fine lord, but witnessing his father's demise has left deep scars in his heart...There are those who expect me to train him more strictly and force lordship upon him before he is ready...but I could never bring myself to do that. No matter what the rest of the Pearl Clan says, my mind is quite made up. I'll stay by this little one's side and let him live his life as he wishes. So, now that you know our situation, might I ask your purpose in coming to the coastlands?
Linka: We're here to help the heir.
Palina: Ah. Did Irida ask you to intervene, perhaps? I appreciate the kind gesture, truly, but I'm afraid this matter simply does not concern you. You should speak to Iscan, a warden of the Diamond Clan. He should be able to help you. There is definitely something strange happening out on Firespit Island... Those shadowy figures are concerning, of course, but then there's also the odd lightning that came from that rift in the sky...Lightning is a sign that the heavens are angry... I worry that we may have offended almighty Sinnoh somehow. Oh! I forgot to mention, your brother Lars went to the Firespit Island to investigate. He said something about writing a poem for the previous lord and his heir.
Linka: Yeah, he likes to morn for those who have passed away. *To Growlithe* I hope the poem will cheer you up little guy.
Small Growlithe: Yeah, I really miss my dad.
Linka: So Palina, where do we find Iscan?
Palina: He lives on Aipom Hill, just past Ginkgo Landing. I imagine you'll find him there.
Linka: *Looks at her Arc Phone.* That's over there, Come on guys.
(The loud kids head to the location. Leaving Palina and the Growlithe alone.)
Small Growlithe: *Looking down in sorrow* Daddy...
