[The siblings met with Ingo across a bridge at the start of the cave.]

One false step around it could put you in danger. If you're going to face it, you might consider catching Pokémon that can withstand electricity.
Linka: Well I think Pach resists electric type attacks, so I might use her.
Ingo: It must be difficult being a Pokémon, don't you think? Especially one as irritable as Electrode. Then becoming frenzied, to boot…
?: So true! It's a tough old life for Pokémon and humans alike!
[They turned around and saw Melli]
Lynn: This doofus again...
Melli: Well, well. Warden Ingo of the Pearl Clan... And...oh my! The Galaxy Team grunts from before. You're punching well above your weight to seek out the great Electrode, Lord of the Hollow!
Luke: ...
Melli: But! By the sheer tenderness of my heart, I'll grant you a trial to see if you're worthy. The greatest obstacle you'll ever face awaits you right here! Battle me—if you dare!
Linka: Uh...Maybe not...

[Melli left for the cave.]
Ingo: What a selfish outlook. These frenzies cause the Pokémon themselves such suffering! But what is it you want to do, Linka?
Linka: Press on.
Ingo: Very well! The tracks ahead will be perilous, but I pride myself on safe driving! To meet Sneasler, Linka, you must pass through here: Wayward Cave. Here you'll find Pokémon like Golbat and their ilk, which are quite at home navigating in the dark. It's quite dim inside, so you'll need to watch your step!
[They enter Wayward Cave. It was quite dark.]
Ingo: Well, this is odd. The torches that light the way through the cave are gone. Could this be Melli attempting to obstruct us? Either way, there's no need for concern. I know my route, and I'll conduct us safely. No darkness nor foul weather will delay us! Onward we roll!
[They begin to talk through the cave.]
Ingo: Take care not to come uncoupled from me! I recall, faintly, that I had a partner once. A precious one. Its name escapes me, but I remember that it wielded flames with mastery. If only it were here, I'm sure it would light the way, luring us onward...
[Ingo then stops]
Linka: What is it Ingo?
Ingo: Please forgive the unscheduled stop. I detect an alpha Crobat to our right.
[A Large purple bat blocks their path.]
Ingo: Under normal circumstances, I doubt its presence would obstruct someone so competent as you... But given the poor visibility, I propose a track change in the interest of safety. Please follow me.
[They took the left turn]
Ingo: Take care not to come uncoupled from me!
Linka: So Ingo can you tell us more about your sibling?
Ingo: We'd battle and discuss Pokémon, I think... The words "I like winning more than anything else" flashed through my mind just now...
[Just before they could continue to follow Ingo, they heard a voice from the other tunnel.]

[They headed to where the voice was coming from, at the end of the path, they found Leif running and dodging attacks from a Gible.]
Ingo: Goodness! He's under attack!
Leif: Why won't you listen to me?
Gible: Listen to this! Intruder!
[The pokemon slashed Leif with glowing cyan claws. The siblings gasped upon seeing this.]
Linka: Ingo, you protect him, we'll handle the pokemon.
[Ingo ran to where Leif was while the Loud kids sent out their pokemon on Gible with Linka with Beach, Luke with Min, and Lynn with Ruthie.]
Gible: What the?
[They attacked Gible with their retrospective pokemon. Beach used Liquidation, Min used Ancient power, and Ruthie used Double Hit. They caught Gible and ran over to Leif.]
Linka: Is he...?
Ingo: Don't worry, he didn't take any serious damage. In fact, he should regain consciousness in 3...2...
[Leif then opened his eyes.]
Leif: Whoa, I had this weird dream that I came across a land Shark and tried to befriend it. *Then notices his siblings* Linka! Luke! Lynn! Boy are you guys a sight for sore eyes!
Siblings: Same here.
Leif: I'm guessing you got lost without the torches being around huh?
Linka: Actually, Ingo was guiding us, but then we heard that you were in trouble.
Leif: I don't get it, why did that guy attack me?
Linka: You need to capture it in a pokeball first. Here, I've got its pokeball if you want it. *Gives Leif Gible's Pokeball.*
Leif: Thanks Link!
Luke: I've also got you this. *Hands Leif Croakster's Pokeball* It holds a frog pokemon. Know how much you love them.
Leif: You know it! *Gets back up on his feet.*
Lynn: So do you know anything about Melli?
Leif: Melli? That guy who doesn't realize that he's letting his own lord suffer? I tried to reason with him, but then Lexx decided to side with him because he thinks it's a "Royalty Thing."
Linka: *Sigh* When we find him, we have to talk about his Prince Shenanigans."
Ingo: And what's your name young lad?
Leif: Name's Leif. I'm one of the twins of the Loud House.
Ingo: Twin...twin...
[Flashbacks of Ingo and his brother appear.]
Ingo: I remember now! I have a twin brother, Emmet!
Linka: So you're a twin too? Cool!
Ingo: Ah yes he was Great! We had such good times battling together.
Lynn: I hope you'll reunited with him sometime.
Ingo: As do I. Now where were we? Ah yes! The way to the exit!
[They walked back to where they left off when they came to a pond, Ingo founded something./]
Ingo: This is fine progress. We're nearly home free. Wait— could those be...?
[A set of torches were laying by the wall.]
Linka: Those must be the torches for the cave.
Ingo: Let me put them back where they belong. This darkness could be perilous for the next person to pass through here.
[Ingo set the torches back in their proper place.]
Ingo: I beg your pardon for the delay. I have lit and returned the torches. My safety concerns have been addressed. Ready for departure! If you follow the track marked by torches, you'll reach the terminus of this cave!
Linka: We'll do just that! Thanks. But first we'll like to catch some pokemon here.
Ingo: If you like a stop, by all means, don't forget to hop back on board when you're done.
[The walked of and found a blue bat with large mouth.]
Leif: I've got this one!
[Leif quietly snuck up to the bat and captured it with a Great ball.]
Linka: Not bad. Remind me to add him to the Galaxy Team.
[They then headed to the pond. With the aid of Basculegion, they found pokemon with a long grey body and a a blue fin. The pokemon attacked and Leif engaged in a battle with his Gible, Bites.]
Leif: Bites use Dragon Claw!
[Bites used Dragon Claw, the wild pokemon then used water pulse.]
Leif: Go pokeball!
[Leif captures the pokemon.]
Linka: This pokemon is a Barboach. and that pokemon must be its evolution.
[Linka points to an Indigo Catfish pokemon with yellow whiskers.]
Leif: Hey Linka want help me with a battle?
Linka: You know it!
[Leif sent out Bites while Linka sends out Beach. Bites used Earth Power while Beach used Ice Beam. The wild pokemon used Zen Headbutt Leif captures the pokemon which Linka looked up and found it was called Whiscash.]
Linka: Look there's the Alpha Crobat! If we can just distract it somehow...
[They got Crobat to turn around. Leif hit Crobat with a Backstrike Style dazing it.]
Linka: Good work little bro. Let's take on this guy.
[Beach used Ice Beam on Crobat giving him frostbite, Note used Air Slash, Ruthie used Iron Tail, and Bites used Dragon Claw. Crobat used Sludge Bomb on Beach and Note. After 2 failed captures from Linka, Leif manages to capture it.]
Linka: Alright, let's head outside.
[They followed the torches and headed outside with Ingo.]
Luke: Whoo we made it!
Ingo: Professor Laventon told me how you fell to this land from the sky. For my part, I simply found myself one day here in Hisui, a region whose name I'd never heard... All I could remember was my own name. I was still standing there in bafflement when the Pearl Clan came to my aid. I showed a natural affinity for taming Pokémon, which is why I eventually became a warden. But still I wonder what my true purpose is here... Ah, but now I've sidetracked us with this talk. Let's hurry onward!
