Ch 19 The Void Countess's Final Act Pt2

Patricius: The Eternal Empire, Underground Facility Five

Loud music vibrates throughout the City, reaching beneath the streets of Patricius.

The Chaldeans and the Resistance members looked above them, seeing the ceiling shake. The muffled voice above ground instantly knows who's behind the tremors.

"I-Is that singing?" Marinette asked, feeling her ears vibrate despite being far underground. "H-How can singing cause this so much vibration!?" She asked,

Constantine looks above the ceiling, "It must be Liz Void's Noble Phantasm," The Rider stated,

Nero nodded, knowing Elizabeth too well to confirm what the Byzantine Emperor said. "Umu, a devastating Noble Phantasm whoever hears it." The Saber looks over to her master, standing next to Caster's Familiar and Koyanskaya. "Preator,"

Ritsuka looked back at his Servant, hearing her calling him. "I know, Saber. We'll be heading out soon as the comms system is online." He said to her.

"I hope so, I don't think that the citizens of Paris could handle Liz Void's singing," Rama stated, prepared to go out at any moment. So was Archer of Kosla and Sita on standby.

"Oi, Caster are you finished? I'm already done with syncing the Storm Border's time with ours." Koyanskaya growls, waiting for him to finish covering their connection.

The Vermillion Bird was setting up many barriers on the Terminal. After the last pentagram was placed, the entire Terminal turned on, a screen appeared at the center revealing a familiar face.

-ZZZ- H-Hello…H…Hello? Director Fujimaru, can you hear me?-ZZZ- Ginny Weasley called, trying to stabilize the connection.

"Ginny, yes we can hear you," Ritsuka responded, happy to see the red-haired girl's face.

Ginny smiles, getting a visual feed from her end. -ZZZ- Director! It's nice to hear from you and see you again! -ZZZ- She turns behind her, calling the main Staff over.

Goldolf, Mashu, and Holmes appeared on the screen. -ZZZ- Ah, director it's good to hear you again.-ZZZ- The plumped man stated, relieved that the final hope for Humanity is alive.

"Yes, but we can talk about this later." Ritsuka went straight into business as usual. "Right now we're going out to deal with Berserker of the Void. An Altered Elizabeth Bathory," He informed the Staff of Chaldea.

-ZZZ- Another version of Elizabeth-san? I think that makes…I've lost count, Ritsuka.-ZZZ- Mashu sighs at how many Liz they have in the Servant roster.

-ZZZ-Now that you mentioned it, director. We have been tracking your actions and area from her and detect an unusual amount of Magical Energy being disbursed. -ZZZ- Goldolf cleared his throat,

Holmes nodded, confirming what the Vice-director was saying. -ZZZ- We took it upon ourselves and confirmed that it was a Noble Phantasm.- ZZZ- Holmes explains, -ZZZ- From what you told us, director. It is possible this Noble Phantasm is Báthory Erzsébet.-ZZZ-

Moriarity smirks, hearing the voice of his nemesis. "Nonetheless from the great Sherlock Holmes," The Ruler commented, purposely making his presence known. "Tell me, how are you've been now that you're truly serving master?"

-ZZZ- Ah, the Ruler from Traum. I'd know that voice from anywhere,-ZZZ- Holmes chuckles, remembering their duel at the Falls. -ZZZ- As much as I want to…discuss certain things with you. Know that you're predicament is more important than our rivalry. -ZZZ-

"That we can agree, my fellow Ruler." Moriarty agreed, pushing that matter when they officially meet on the Storm Border.

Ritsuka cleared his throat, gaining the floor once more. "Now that's settled, can you provide a private channel in our comms system? The Lostbelt is technologically advanced that we don't know if they're listening to us."

-ZZZ- Then how are you able to speak to us- -ZZZ-

The Familiar flew over to Ritsuka, perching on his shoulder. "That's my doing," The Vermillion Bird interjected, introducing himself to the rest of the Chaldean Staff. "Forgive me, I'm Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth. I'm currently aiding many resistance movements here in the Lostbelt,"

-ZZZ- Ah, there's already a powerful Caster Servant there? -ZZZ- Mashu commented, looking at the data she's receiving on their end. -ZZZ- From the data, we could tell there are a lot of Servants signatures with you and Marinette-san in your current position…mmm? -ZZZ-

"What is it Mashu?" Ritsuka asked, hearing the sound she made.

-ZZZ- Oh, it's nothing Ritsuka. I just noticed that Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth isn't fully there. -ZZZ- Mashu explains why she made a curious sound. -ZZZ- I assume that he has sent a Familiar with you all? -ZZZ-

"That's right, my true body is currently hiding away; currently working on something for later." The Vermillion Bird explains to the former Demi-Servant. "Actually, I'm a Grand Servant Summoned here by the Counter Force."

-ZZZ- A Grand Caster! A Servant that was Summon for dealing with Beast and other Wo- -ZZZ-

"Ahahahah, please I don't need praise for my status as a Grand." The Vermillion Bird laughs, "For now, let's focus on our current task."

Goldolf cleared his throat, seeing that he was acting immature back there. -ZZZ- M-My apologies, -ZZZ-

Marinette approached the meeting, unsure of what she just heard. "Um, excuse me. I know this is important and all, but what is a-"

Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth chuckles, waving his Familiar's wing at the bluenette. "A little subject we'll delve into later."

-ZZZ- R-Right, Ms. Weasley, and Ms. Lovegood make the necessary preparations for private comm channels for our Combat unit.- ZZZ- Goldolf ordered the young Staff members.

-ZZZ- Yes, Vice-director!-ZZZ- The two Witches responded, setting up the preparations.

"Alright, I got the link," Koyanskaya stated, installing the channel's new comms that she brought with her on this mission.

"Then that should do it," Ritsuka turns to the Servants, ready to head out. "Everyone, prepare to depart!"

"Hai!"

Void Territory

Liz Void was performing on her stage, dispelling her Noble Phantasm throughout the Empire. The Berserker twirls around, posing in front of the deceased hostages in the audience.

"Thank you, thank you all for coming to a very special concert!" Liz Void waves to the corpses before her. She laughs, continuing to deploy her Noble Phantasm,

Within the shadows of the alleyway, Ritsuka, Marinette, Tikki, Nero, and Archer of the Resistance, were observing the situation. "Ack, what is music playing?" Tikki coughs, disliking the music playing in the background.

"A tacky music that has no soul put into it." Archer of the Resistance stated, feeling like he wanted to throw up. "This shouldn't be considered as music,"

"You sure are knowledgeable with music, are you a Musician?" Nero asked the Servant from the Counter Force.

The light-brown-haired Hero gave a small smile to the Roman Emperor. "You can say that Saber." Archer of the Resistance stated, "To be honest, this body knows of nothing of music. However, the Heroic Spirit that combines with this body shares the knowledge he possesses."

Ritsuka looked at the Servant next to him, "So you're a Pseudo-Servant then Archer?"

-ZZZ- That does explain some things we're detecting on our end. -ZZZ- Mashu informed the group of what they were observing.

"A Pseudo-Servant? What is that?" Marinette asked the Assistant director through the comms.

Mashu ponders, wondering how to explain what a Pseudo-Servant is. -ZZZ-Let's see…a Pseudo-Servant is a Heroic Spirit where they can't manifest properly and use a once-living modern Human to manifest as a vessel.-ZZZ- The former Demi-Servant explains. -ZZZ- Both of the Heroic Spirit's and vessel's personalities combine into a new one.-ZZZ-

-ZZZ- A prime example is Charlie or Charlemagne. The Heroic Spirit Charlemagne and Ritsuka's Grandfather Charlie Potter. -ZZZ- Mashu further explains to the young Hero.

Marinette and Tikki turn to the light-brown Archer, "So, Archer is once a Living Human and a Heroic Spirit?" Tikki asked,

"That's right, Tikki," Archer confirmed what the former Demi-Servant said. "But that doesn't mean I'm any less than a regular Servant Summoned by the Counter Force."

Ritsuka looks over to the other side of the area, he saw Viperion with Ruler of Paris, Sita, and Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth. "Okay, they are in place," Ritsuka stated, placing his fingers on his comms, he turns to Marinette and Tikki. "We're ready to go, Mashu send the signal."

-ZZZ- Hai, sending confirmation signal to Charlie's group. -ZZZ- Mashu responded, informing Charlie's group to proceed with their part of the plan.

Charlie held the comm in his ear on the other side of the building. "Yes, thanks Mashu." The former King looks at Lancelot, Moriarty, and the Archer of Kosla. "We're good to go."

Moriarty nodded, looking at the Mad Dog of the Roundtable. "Alright Berserker, it's time for you to shine."

"Aaaaarrrrrttttthhhhuuuurrrrr…." Lancelot dashed into the open, destroying the patrol on the road.

After a few moments of waiting, a loud explosion erupts in the background.

Liz Void turns around, seeing the smoke cloud rising from behind the buildings. "So the Chaldeans are here-"

A hurling yo-yo at great speed, Liz Void saw it and promptly deflected it.

The yo-yo was knocked off course, allowing Ruler of Paris to reel it in.

"Same trick as last time? Know that backup will come soon, and you will be defeated!" Liz Void stated, looking at the Counter Guardian dead on.

"Yeah, we know a lot about you, Elizabeth Bathory." Ruler stated as arrows rain down upon the Berserker.

Liz Void took her Lance and twirled it to create a barrier to defend against the barrage.

"Ruler now's your chance; check the Citizens!" Sita cried out, providing cover for her.

The Counter Guardian nodded, rushing to one side of the audience and checking on one of the hostages. "Sir, are you all right-" Ruler of Paris stopped mid-sentence, seeing the man's dull eyes.

Ruler of Paris frowns, seeing that there's no way in helping these people anymore. She looked around, double-checking the Parisian to see if there was a survivor. However, her intuition was at its peak in what was around her. "They're all dead," She growls.

Ritsuka and Ladybug ran in the open with Archer of the Resistance and Nero, "All right, Archer has Liz preoccupied," The Magus stated,

"But for how long," Ladybug asked, seeing the Altered Elizabeth walking slowly to the Queen of Kosla.

Ritsuka's eyes turn to the Battle, seeing that Sita was slowly losing ground for her aim. "Saber, assist Archer in her battle." He asked the Emperor of Roses.

The blonde nodded, happy to assist an ally. "Umu! Leave it to me, Preator!" She looks at the light brown-haired Archer before leaving. "Archer, I leave the protection to master and Ladybug to you!" She stated, having a good feeling about her.

Archer of the Resistance nodded, feeling happy that Nero trusted him. "You can trust me, Saber." The Servant promised,

Nero separated from her master and her group and joined Sita in the Battle.

Sita gritted her teeth, seeing the Berserker coming closer to her with each step. "Tch, she's coming closer, I can't let her get to master and the others." The Queen grumbles, continuing to shoot her arrows at the Servant before her.

Liz Void laughs wickedly, deflecting the many arrows that Sita was shooting at her. "Is that all you can do? What kind of Archer are you, little girl!" Liz Void leaps in the air, dodging the few arrows aimed at her.

The Berserker dashed forward in the air, thrusting her Lance forward at the Queen.

"HA!" Nero jumps in front of Sita, blocking the strike from hitting. "Don't forget about me, Dragon!" She pushed back Liz Void in the air.

"Ngh!" Liz Void growls, seeing the Emperor of Roses. "Damn you, I don't know you and yet I'm irritated just looking at you-Huh?" the Berserker noticed the yo-yo from the Counter Guardian wrapped around her.

Ruler of Paris tugged on her yo-yo, tossing her back onto her stage. Liz Void crashed into the stage, damaging the equipment on it.

Nero and Sita joined the bluenette Counter Guardian, "Great job there, Ruler!" The Archer commented on their teamwork.

"Umu, that's probably got good enough damage to the Berserker." The blonde Emperor stated, seeing the strength from that toss. "A round of applause to you, Counter Guardian." She looks around the audience, noticing that the people aren't responding.

Nero frowns, seeing the Parisian are unresponsive to the action around them. "I see, so we're already too late in saving them." She stated,

The bluenette turns her attention back to the stage, "Let's forget about the hostages, Berserker isn't done yet." Ruler of Paris stated,

The music grew louder, and the pile of mess burst revealing an enraged Dragonoid Servant. The Altered Liz roars, angry at the Servants attacking her.

"How dare you!" Liz Void shouted at the Chaldeans, "How dare you, how dare you, how dare you, HOW DARE YOU!" The Berserker roars, very pissed off by the attack.

Liz Void gritted her teeth at the sights of the three Servants. "I'll kill you all for interrupting my fun!" She prostrates her Lance on the stage.

Sita prepared her bow and aimed at the berserk Berserker. "I-I think we made her mad," The red-haired Queen commented.

Nero points her flaming Sword at the other version of her Rival. "Then that's perfect! Keep her gaze upon us!" The Saber stated. "(Umu, things are going smoothly as I expected.)" She whispers,

Ruler of Paris spun her yo-yo, ready to strike. "Then attack!" The three charged forward, going what they plan prior.

"How foolish! Then I'll kill you for your foolishness!" Liz Void twirls her Lance then prostrates before her. "Come, you idiots! ###### Báthory Erzsébet!"

A loud burst of soundwaves echoed in the Empire and the three Chaldean Servants flinched but kept pushing.

At the back of the audience, Ritsuka, Archer of the Resistance and Ladybug met up with Viperion and the Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth. "Gah! That music is really irritating." The bluenette Hero's eye twitches at the horrid song.

"I can see why you dislike this music," Ladybug stated, hearing the music despite the Servants fighting. "This music reminds me of XY's bland music." She commented.

"The musician who went bankrupt a few years back?" Archer of the Resistance asked the bluenette. "I heard and gain some knowledge of Xavier-Yves Roth's life, gotta say it's not surprising that many years of plagiarism and cheating would end up bankrupt."

Ladybug blinks, hearing what will happen to XY in the future. "Why I'm not surprised that would happen." She commented.

Ritsuka looks at both Viperion and Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth. "Okay, Saber, Ruler, and Archer are keeping Liz Void busy," He turns to see Nero thrusting her Sword at Liz Void as the Berserker used her Lance as a pole to dodge her attack.

Ruler took the opportunity to thrust her yo-yo, only for Liz Void to grab the string and pull her to the other side.

While the two Servants were in combat, Sita still provided cover whenever Liz Void got too close to them.

"They're trying their best to keep Liz Void occupied from us, despite having Hephaestus Theos Klironomia at her disposal," Ritsuka explains, seeing his Servants giving their all and keeping up with the Berserker's enhanced durability. He looks up, seeing his Secretary in her sniper position on the roof.

"That I can tell, those three are keeping their distance while attacking her." Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth observes the Chaldean Servants.

Viperion cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "Alright, we got one chance to defeat Elizabeth Bathory, the Berserker of the Void." He turns to the light brown-haired Archer, seeing if he's ready to do their part. "Are you ready, Archer?"

Archer nodded, materializing his violin and bow, "Yes, Moon Cancer I'm ready to do my part." He responded then he looks at the rooftop of the building behind them. "Should we take our stage?" He asked his allies.

"Yes, Archer." Viperion looks at both Ladybug and Ritsuka, wanting them to do something. He held onto his bracelet, switching the little snake to the other side. "Power of Temporal Rewind, Second Chance!"

Ladybug's eyes widen, seeing the power of the Snake Miraculous. "Second Chance, Viperion are you sure?"

The Living Hero nodded, "Of course, I'm not risking another failed mission like before." Viperion stated before asking them another question. "Ladybug, Ritsuka Fujimaru, can I trust you to watch out backs?" He asked the Heroes from the past.

Ladybug nodded, "Of course, you can count on us, Viperion." The young Hero stated.

Viperion let out a small chuckle, reminded of the good old days. "Then let's be off, after defeating Elizabeth Bathory we can discuss the next step in your mission." The Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth stated, "Oh, I may be indisposed studying the inner workings of the Imperial Inquisitors. So you'll be on your own for a while."

Ritsuka sighs, knowing whom this person is based on how he talks. "Yep, I figured as much."

"Alright, let's go!" The teal-haired Hero announced, heading to the rooftop.

Three slashes appeared before Liz Void, each one was blocked by the Berserker's Lance. "HA!" She spun around and thrust her Lance at Nero.

Nero swiftly brought up her Sword to her center, blocking the thrust. "Ngh!"

Three arrows and a yo-yo were flinging at both sides of the Berserker.

Liz Void let out a small chuckle, with the enhanced speed she got, and spun around creating a barrier at both attacks.

She stops spinning and deflecting the attacks, "Hahahaha! Is that all you have? Is this what the defenders of Humanity could do!?" Liz Void taunts the Heroic Spirits around her.

"She's good, way good." Sita huffs, pulling back her bow. However, her strength wasn't at its peak, mainly due to Liz's music dampening the Magical Energy within them and other factors.

"This is nothing," Nero held her Sword, still determined to fight despite the disadvantages. "Umu, even if you have Vulcan's power flowing through your body, it's nothing compared to the bond we have with our master!"

Ruler of Paris nodded, regaining her battle position along with Sita. "That's right, we will defeat you. Right here, right now, Elizabeth Bathory." The Counter Guardian stated,

Liz Void frowns, seeing the disgusting sight of the determination of the Chaldeans. "What utter nonsense you just spout." The Berserker said bluntly, "Whatever, I'm still going to kill you all!"

She spun her Lance above her, "Be dazzled by the greatest hit of the Servant World!" Liz Void announced,

"Here it comes, her Noble Phantasm!" Sita warns the two Servants around,

"###### Báth-"

(End Song)

"My music is the pinnacle of mankind!" Violins appeared around the area, surrounding the group of Servants below.

"An art that's shared with the World, and on a bloodstain Battlefield!" The voice boomed as a rainbow-colored staff line connected each violin.

"W-What's going on!?" Liz Void looks up at the rooftop; falling for their trap again.

There on the roof of the building was the light brown-haired Archer. In his hands was his violin in one hand and under his chin. While he holds his bow on the other hand,

"You! You're that Caster Servant-"

Archer smirks as he starts playing his Noble Phantasm. "Behold my signature piece!" He announced, "Moon Cancer, join me!"

Viperion smirks, holding out his hand and materializing a huge lyre shape like a guitar. "You got it, Archer!" The Living Hero looks down at Liz Void's face. "Elizabeth Bathory Void, this is payback for what you did!"

"Vibrant Air on the G String!"

The music staff glowed brightly, hitting each violin and making a harmonious tune along with Viperion's guitar shredding. (Insert ZEUS Entrance ~ Record of Ragnarok Epic OST | Zeus Theme)

Both Ritsuka and Ladybug saw the two performing in sync, the fatigue they were experiencing instantly gone. "M-My body, it's not weak as before." Ladybug commented,

-ZZZ- By Jove! In this piece, only one person can play such a tune! -ZZZ- Holmes spoke through the comms, recognizing the tune from anywhere.

"You do, Mr. Holmes? (God I wanted to say that,)" Ladybug chuckles mentally,

Holmes nodded, -ZZZ- Indeed, Ms. Du-I'm sorry Ms. Ladybug. As a fellow Violinist, I know this piece very well. -ZZZ- The Ruler stated, -ZZZ- The piece you are hearing is Air on the G String, composed by none other than…-ZZZ-

"Johann Sebastian Bach, Archer of the Resistance's True Name is Johann Sebastian Bach," Ritsuka answered, listening to the amp-up version of his music.
