Ch 30 The Resistance's Informant

"Nicolo Machiavelli," Chat and Ladybug glare at the violet-haired Servant standing before them.

Suddenly Tlaloc changed her clothing into traditional Aztec wear. The others aimed their weapons at the Enemy Servant standing before them. "Master, is this Servant your enemy?" The Pretender asked her master.

Moriarty held his chin, seeing the Caster Servant. "From the Chaldean records, Caster or Nicolo Machiavelli is an Enemy Servant that took over Paris with her Noble Phantasm." The Ruler said, "Though you being female is unexpected."

"It's rude for me to say, but I always thought he was a man?" Archer of Kosala commented, hearing about the Caster who serves the Empire.

Machiavelli nodded, understanding how they felt. "It wasn't my intention, but I do believe my gender has to do with my friend's influences on their Summoning…" She said to the Chaldeans.

"You mean Da Vinci?" Ritsuka asked the Caster Servant, "She spoke about you and finds it strange that you oppose Humanity like this." He commented.

The violet-haired Caster nodded, knowing all about the Renaissance Woman being Chaldea's Technical Development Division Head. "Yes, I'm aware Leonardo sided with you Chaldeans. To think she would be worried about me…" Machiavelli cleared her throat, changing the subject. "But that isn't what I came here for."

"Is it to stop us from defeating your Emperor, Machiavelli?" Chat asked, remembering how she stood in their way back in the Black Crystal Palace in the present. "I know that you're determined to put an end to our mission for Felix-"

"I do apologize for my actions back then, Monsieur Cat and Mademoiselle Ladybug, and you too, master of Chaldea." Machiavelli placed her hand on her heart. "But I have to obey my current master then."

Moriarty's eyes perked up, hearing the wording, and from the looks of it, his master also picked up her wording. "So, you're telling us that as of right now, you're a Free Servant?" The Ruler asked the Caster Servant.

Machiavelli nodded, confirming what the Crime Lord said. "Indeed, with some assistance of a certain Caster, I was able to make my Contract with my former master void." The Caster explains, stating her current alignment.

"Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth," Ladybug stated, seeing he's the only powerful Caster left in this World other than his Assistant.

Tlaloc turns to her master, tightening her whip. "Master, am I to presume that she's no longer an Enemy?" The Pretender asked Ritsuka.

"Yes, you can relax Tlaloc." Ritsuka smiles at the newest Servant on their team.

"Very well," Tlaloc reverted to her modern wear, "I'll stand down, master." She responded.

"But now?" Chat asked, unsure what this means.

"It means that Caster or Machiavelli serves as our Informant within the enemy lines quite recently." Everyone (excluding Viperion) turns to the Assassin of the Resistance, telling the group what the former Enemy is now. "Right before you enter the Lostbelt,"

"WHAT!?" Both Ladybug and Chat Noir were shocked to hear that Machiavelli was aiding the Resistance in taking down the Empire.

The bluenette Hero swiftly looks at Machiavelli, "So does that mean D'Artagnan is a spy too?" Ladybug asked before flinching. "I mean based on what you said, Machiavelli."

Machiavelli looks at the bluenette, answering her question. "He decided to continue serving the master of the Anomaly to remove the suspicious activity from me. As for Lancer, he's still under the control of the Eternal Empire." She explains to the Chaldeans.

"Wait, so what exactly you're doing here?" Archer asked the former Enemy before them.

Assassin closes his eyes, approaching Machiavelli. "As I said before, she serves as the Resistance Informant recently." The Servant explains to the group. He turns to the purple-haired Caster, knowing why she has appeared. "So, you got any information on you, Caster?"

Viperion nodded, finding it strange having her come to them if she had information about the Empire. "Normally you would've sent an encrypted to our base about the Empire."

"Yes, normally I would but this information is very important to be sent through in an encrypted message," Machiavelli said with a serious tone.

"I see," Ritsuka said, sensing everyone looking at him. "We should head back to the base, everyone should hear this information." The master of Chaldea stated.

Moriarty nodded, "A smart plan indeed master," The Ruler smiles, siding with his master on the decision. "Let's regroup with Nero and the others before heading back to Base." He stated.

"Archer of the Resistance is back with your other Chaldean Servants, Fujimaru," Viperion explains to the last master of Humanity. "I'll send a link to him through the terminal-"

"If I could intrude, then I would like to point out something." BB raised her hands to the group, gaining their attention.

Ritsuka looks at the Moon Cancer, curious about what she has to say. "What is it, BB?" The master asked.

BB smirks at the ajar doorway, "Whoever is hiding in there, you better come out before we blast the shit out of you." The AI threatens whoever is hiding behind the two doors off the left side.

Ladybug and Chat Noir looks at the door, ready for combat if it's one of the Enemy Programs.

Archer of Kosala and Ritsuka aimed for the doors. "Master, tell me and I'll deal with whoever is hiding." The Counter Force Servant stated.

The doors slowly opened, revealing a young blonde Boy around twelve. He wore a black leather jacket, a green shirt underneath, jeans, and converse shoes. On his hand were three red knives, indicating that he was the last master in this Grail War.

"Wait, that boy looks familiar…" Ritsuka commented, seeing the blonde hair and familiar bluebell eyes.

"Now that you mention it, master…that boy looks awfully like-"

"Louis!" Viperion approached the young Boy, standing before the doors. "What do you think you're doing here? It's dangerous for you to be out in the City-h-how were you able to come here?" The Hero of Intuition asked his Nephew.

Chat and Ladybug watch as the teal-haired Moon Cancer scolds the Boy. "T-The Assassins brought me here as a favor they owed me," Louis explains to his Uncle. He turns around as the doors open for the two Assassins that everyone met.

"Well, well, this is quite a gathering." The pink-haired Servant steps out of the door with her Brother beside her. "Isn't that right, Brother?"

The mint-haired male Servant nodded, "I believe it is, Sister." The other Assassin commented,

Assassin of the Resistance steps forward, standing next to Viperion. "Master, why have you come here?" He asked, not beating around the bush.

"W-Wait…MASTER!?" Both Ladybug and Chat Noir were surprised to see a young Boy such as him being the master of Assassin.

Louis looks at the two Superheroes, shouting with shock. His eyes widened at the sight of them, he slowly made his way over to the two.

"Master," Assassin looks at his Summoner, watching him approach the two Heroes.

"Louis, wait," Viperion was about to stop his Nephew from approaching the two, only for the mint-haired Assassin to hold him back. The Hero of Intuition looks at the Counter Force Servant, seeing that it's not their place to intervene.

Louis approaches both Ladybug and Chat Noir,

The two looked at each other before looking at the young twelve-year-old boy.

'So this is the final master in the Holy Grail War?' The bluenette Hero looks at the young Boy before her. His blonde hair, and facial structure, they remind her of…

Ladybug gasps, placing the pieces together. "Don't tell me…are you-"

"Mom? Dad?" Louis asked the Heroes of Creation and Destruction, tears pouring down his face.

"W-Wait…don't tell me you're-" Ladybug was shocked, sure they were in the future and expected to meet their Child, but it was still a shock.

"I'm Louis, Louis Agreste." The blonde Boy introduced himself to the past versions of his Parents. "I-I'm your Son in the Future."

Chat was at a loss for words, not only they met the last master in the Holy Grail War. But the fact that he met his Son from this Era.

The proof was literally standing before them, Louis Agreste was a carbon copy of Adrien with Marinette's eyes.

Louis wipes away the tears, falling down his face. "I-I'm sorry…I-I got a lot to say but I can't find the words." He said, smiling sadly at his Parents' younger selves. He looks at the two Heroes, seeing the two still at a loss for words. "Mom? Dad?"

Chat shook his head, coming out from his shock. "S-Sorry, I-I mean we didn't…expect-"

"Are you really our Son?" Ladybug asked the blonde boy.

"Yeah, Mom said that I'm a carbon copy of Dad when he was my age," Louis explains to the two Heroes. "If you need more proof that I'm you're Son, I can always-"

Chat shook his head, looking at the young master. "No, just looking at you confirms that you really are our Child, Louis." He stated, seeing the resemblance between him and Louis.

Ritsuka observes the three interacting with each other. "I figure that Boy I saw running around the streets was important." He turns to Archer of Kosala, hearing what he said. "To think we had a master present all this time."

"What do you mean, Archer?" Ritsuka asked the Counter Force Servant.

The red-haired Archer looks at his master, "Before you all came to this Lostbelt, we Servants took notice of a young Boy running through the streets, gathering people to join the Resistance." The Counter Force Servant explains to his master. "Though we were all too busy trying to defeat the Empire to even consider joining forces."

Moriarty chuckles, placing his hand on his chin. "Whether you notice or not, eventually all things will come together Archer." The Ruler smiles at the Revenge Realm Servant.

Ritsuka looks over to the two Assassin Servants, standing near the exit. "Assassin, are you going to join us in defeating the Eternal Empire?" The master of Chaldea asked the two other Counter Force Servants.

The pink-haired Assassin lets out a chuckle, shrugging her shoulders. "We're just here to escort the Child to the Louvre." The Assassin explains to the black-haired Magus. "We owed him a favor for letting us establish our little Bar."

"Besides, someone has to keep an eye on those drunkards in our Bar." The mint-haired Assassin raised his hand as both his Sister and he were about to leave. "See you next time, Louie, and you too Chaldeans."

Louis turns around quickly at the Assassins. "Wait, so you're not going to join the Resistance?" He asked the two Assassins.

The pink-haired Assassin looked at the young blonde boy. "It's nothing personal, Louie. But joining the Resistance isn't our forte." The Counter Force Servant stated.

"We tried to defeat the Empire, but we couldn't." The mint-haired Assassin said, "But know we will be rooting for you and the Chaldeans on your success." He continues before turning to the exit.

"See you later, everyone." With that the two Assassins return to their Bar, leaving the Chaldeans and Resistance members alone.

Louis watches as the two Servants leave the room, prompting him to turn to the large group. "S-So, I guess I have to introduce myself." The master said to the group. "My name is Louis Agreste, one of the leaders of Resistance. Caster told us about you Chaldean master and how you can help us." He stated.

"It's nice to meet you, Louis," Ritsuka greeted his fellow master. "I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru, the director of the Chaldea Security Organization." He turns to his Servants, introducing them to the young Boy.

"These are a few of my Servants, Ruler, Archer, Pretender, and Moon Cancer or BB." Ritsuka introduced his Servants to the young master.

Moriarty, like a gentleman, inclined his head to Louis. "Greetings, Mr. Agreste."

BB scoffs, looking at the blonde Child. "So you're the final master in this Grail War. Heh, talk about a fledgling," The Moon Cancer commented. "You don't look like you have much Battle experience like everyone here."

Chat saw Louis's face sadden from the moment BB compared him to them. He then looks at the AI standing next to him. "BB, he's just a Kid, please don't chastise him for not knowing combat." He glares at her.

Louis shook his head, "No, she's right. I haven't been into combat against the Eternal Empire. The only people that were fighting were the Resistance Soldiers, the Servants, and my Uncle and Aunts." The young master stated, feeling he was useless as a master. "The only thing I ever did was Summon Assassin and gather people to join the Resistance. Anything else is all the others doing,"

"From what I'm hearing, you did a lot that was useful," Ladybug said, hearing the many things that her Son did to start off the Resistance.

"And the fact you were able to Summon yourself a Servant and gathered a few Servants to join is impressive enough," Ritsuka added, impressed by the young Boy's achievements.

"Really?" Louis asked before his Servant spoke to him.

Assassin of the Resistance nodded, agreeing with both the master of Chaldea and the Hero of Creation. "Yes, master. The reason why we kept you inside away from the conflict is that you serve as my anchor and the last hope for the Parisians. If anything happens to you before the Chaldeans arrived, then it will be all over before you know it." He explains to his master.

"You're more important than you believe you be, master." The white-haired Assassin smiles at his Summoner, seeing a little bright expression on his face. Then Assassin's face got serious, going into a serious expression. "We wasted enough time just talking, by now I believe the three holding the enemies back are finished with the cleanup."

"I believe Assassin is right on that point, those three can't hold them off for long," Moriarty stated, seeing many of the Servant agreed with what the former Apostle of the Alien World said.

Chat walks over to the exit, raring to head back to the surface. "Then let's go, everyone." The Hero of Destruction said as everyone started to head towards the exit.

The group walks up the spiral staircase, heading to the Louvre's exit.

Ladybug looks at Louis, walking nervously behind the two. It was shocking to find that they met her Son this fast. She looks at Chat, concerned about him. "(Chat, what's your thoughts on this?)" The Hero of Creation asked her Boyfriend.

"(About what, Marinette?)" Chat asked his Partner, noticing that her bluebell eyes motions to the blonde Child behind them.

Chat's cat-like eyes shift to Louis, walking steadily behind them. His eyes widen, realizing what Ladybug is saying. "(To be honest, I kinda expected that our Son would be here but it's still shocking.)" The Hero stated. "(He looks like me at every bit, the only thing different about him is his eyes. Those are your eyes, Marinette)"

Ladybug nodded, agreeing with that point, but that wasn't what she was asking. "(What I mean is, how do you feel about him leading…a Resistance?)" She whispers to her Boyfriend. "(I know it's a difficult time right now but-)"

"(Marinette, I get it. I don't like it as much as you do. But we can't change what has already happened.)" Chat looks at their Future Son, knowing what will become of him when all is said and done. "(Especially when we're going to-)"

Ladybug stopped the blonde Hero, not wanting to think about the end of their mission. "(Can we talk about something else, Adrien other than destroying this World?)" She asked, wanting to change the subject.

The blonde Hero nodded, seeing Ladybug wasn't ready to accept what was to come. "Alright," He looks at Louis, walking behind them. "So, Louis, how are you doing?" He asked, wincing at the question just asked, knowing full well things aren't good for them.

"All considering that we're being ruled by a tyrant and both my Parents died and how our World was pruned away…yeah, I would just say peachy." Louis sarcastically said, waving his hand at them.

Chat couldn't help but chuckle, looking at Ladybug. "He got that sarcastic side from you, Princess." He gave a cheeky smirk at the bluenette.

"Oh please, that sassiness was from you. I can tell, Kitty." Ladybug chuckles, waving her hands at her Boyfriend.

Louis looks at the two, arguing about which of his personality. He smiles a bit, being reminded of the old days with his Parents before the Empire arrived. It was nice,

"Seriously, you two are acting exactly how Mom and Dad act when they are being Childish." Louis chuckles, smiling at the two masters.

"Really? Is that how we acted when we're adults?" Chat asked, hearing what they were like in this timeline.

Louis nodded, closing his eyes, "Yeah, they act lovely dovey one moment then the next they're acting like a Child when nobody is looking." The blonde master stated.

Ladybug looks at her Son, hearing how he would describe them when they are grown. "Huh, the more you know." The bluenette stated. "Say, I know this is asking too much but I'm curious. Do you have any siblings?" She asked, seeing Chat raising his eyebrow at her.

Louis nodded, answering Ladybug's question. "Two, a Brother and a Baby Sister. Hugo and Emma." The blonde master informed the two.

"I got a Daughter and two Sons," Chat chuckles, smiling at how many Children he would soon have.

Ritsuka looks back at the three masters, smiling at them having a small bonding moment with the master of the Resistance. "Master, are you missing your Son?" The master of Chaldea looks at Archer of Kosala, walking beside him.

"Archer…yeah, I barely have any time with Romani and Mashu since the vacation in Hawaii." Ritsuka stated, feeling bad that he's missing his Son's Childhood, "But fighting for his and Humanity's Future is worth it in the end."

The Counter Force Servant chuckles as they reach the top of the Louvre. "Spoken like a Human,"

As the group exited the ruined Historical site, they were met by scraps of Empire Forces. The three Servants that were left on the surface stood where the most pieces of metal were.

Nero looks up, being the first to notice their masters coming out of the Museum. "Praetor, I see Ruler and the others are here. Does this mean you've unblocked the blockage in the Leyline to the base?" The Roman Emperor asked.

Chat being the one to answer spoke, "Yeah, turns out it was a relic that was blocking the Leyline." The Hero of Destruction turns to the newest member of their group,

Nero looks at the Modern wear Servant, remembering someone from that description on the Lostbelt files. "Oh, you're that enemy Pretender in Nahui Mictlan master fought!" She exclaims.

"Correct, I was Summoned to aid our master in defeating our enemy," Tlaloc said before looking at the Assassin and Viperion. "Now, when are we going to Battle? From my Summoning, I got the gist of what to do."

"Pretender's right, now that we've cleared the way for the Mana to flow back into the base. Are we heading back now?" Ladybug asked the Hero of Intuition.

The teal-haired Hero shook his head, "As much I want to head back and Summon our ace." He turns to Louis, freezing by his Uncle's gaze. "However, I have to bring this sneaky boy back to the main base." He stated.

Louis chuckles, scratching the back of his head knowing how much trouble he would be in. "Heheheh…"

Assassin of the Resistance looks at the group, "We can't do that now we have a large group," The Servant Summoned by the Kid in question stated. "The only option is to split up. One group heading back to the Base and the other to the Main one."

Moriarty agrees with the white-haired Assassin. "Yes, that sounds like a reasonable plan." The Ruler looks at his master, having a thought. "Master, I believe all you should go to the main Base and meet with the other Leaders."

"Sounds good, if we're going to be working together it'll be only right to meet with them," Ritsuka commented before looking at the Servants. "But who to bring…"

"Might I add a suggestion?" Everyone looks at Machiavelli, wanting to share her insights. "If we're going to the Main Base, then I would take the advantage to discuss a strategy with everyone."

"Then it's simple, the people who are coming with us are…"
